My HS crush and I have been emailing back & forth, but haven't been
able to pin down a time to get together for coffee or whatever. He
wrote something yesterday about how he's taking his wife to Seattle
to meet his family and how he hopes it all works out ok, but with
family "you just do what you can do"...something about the way he
phrased it just made so much SENSE, and seemed like it was just
exactly what I needed to see/hear right then. It really touched me.
In that simple sentence, I heard that it's OK to keep up my
boundaries and preserve my own home and happiness, to do only what I
am comfortable with and able to do without forcing anything on
anyone, including myself. It was just really...good. He may not have
meant anything deep by it, but sometimes people are there for you at
a certain place/time because God/ess wanted you to hear what they had
    to say...you know?

    evile: hi :)
evile: There were bunches of wrecks on the roads earlier, I was
worried when I didn't see you online.
evile: are you mad at me, or are you busy/afk?
    SkyeDS: I'm sorry
SkyeDS: we had litigation yesterday and today
SkyeDS: today I left the house at 8 am to go to ABIA to pick up a
    witness
    evile: ouchies. Busy, then.
SkyeDS: dropped her off at SOAH, they settled the case, and then Hugh
    took me to lunch
SkyeDS: and both of us are going to play hookie the rest of the day
evile: that was nice of him. Good plan on the hookie :)
SkyeDS: he's going to goof off, and I"m going to tell everyone who
calls with a straight face that he's still in litigation the rest of
    the afternoon
SkyeDS: since the case was originally expected to go the rest of the
    day anyway
SkyeDS: and it did rain on me all the way from the house to the
airport - I took 973 down from 79 loop around Taylor, but I took it
all the way down to 71, as opposed to 290
SkyeDS: 973 from 969/MLK down to 71 is the best backdoor route to ABIA
evile: that's the way L&B go. I would NOT have wanted to be
out in the weather this a.m. trying to drive anywhere.
SkyeDS: sineater is at home trying to get the horses shod in between
    storms.
evile: sounds like a messy job.
SkyeDS: tornado weather will be arriving shortly too (as it always
    does)
    evile: yup.
    SkyeDS: time to go home
evile: 4 minutes, but close enough, I guess. Have fun playing hookie.
watch out for the loonies who can't drive in the rain.
SkyeDS: I get to go home at 5 today instead of 6:30
    evile: excellent :)
SkyeDS: wind to your wings <hugs> :)
    evile: *hugs* see ya!
