evile: hi :)
SkyeDS: howdo :0
evile: I'm finally going to get laundry done tonight. yay!
SkyeDS: :D
evile: i know, that's a sick thing to be happy about. But it needs
doing.
SkyeDS: Sineater has to return no less than three separate phone calls
about his surgery but by the end of the day hopefully we will have
all the specifics
SkyeDS: to my understanding right now I have to have him there by 9
am, and it's supposed to take at least a couple of hours
evile: *nod*
evile: with sufficient knowledge of where 'there' is, I can meet him
there & take him back to our house afterwards.
SkyeDS: I want to say he said nearby Central Market but don't hold
me to that.
SkyeDS: will find out.
evile: Seton has several facilities near there.
SkyeDS: would be nice if it were Seton, I hear more good about Seton
than anyhere else.
evile: I had my essure done at Bailey Square, which is apparently a
day surgery place run by Seton. It's more behind La Madeline than
near CM.
evile: I'd like to see Sharjinka tonight & skate...but the laundry
comes first (or else I'll have nothing to wear!)
SkyeDS: ya
evile: I guess the good part of that is I'll be home all evening if
Sineater wants to call.
SkyeDS: I'll tell him :) he might be online later too
evile: OK.
evile: at craft night last night, the gals were worried that we were
coming across as an insular group of dykes...not good for those
searching for boyfriends.
evile: I had come up with a fun idea for the next GWNN party, but in
light of that comment, I don't think I'll suggest it.
SkyeDS: aw
evile: oh well
evile: unless I can figure out a way to include new guys in my
idea...hmmm.....
SkyeDS: what is it
evile: a game called "love ____" in which one person is randomly
picked to disrobe and be possibly lightly bound & blindfolded, then
massaged (etc) by the rest of the people in the 'scene'
SkyeDS: I don't see why they couldn't be included unless the women
are weirded out
evile: I had mainly seen it as a way for some of the sub girlies to
get more comfortable with nudity/playing at parties.
SkyeDS: in which case why are they scening anyway
evile: *nod* you're right. I just don't know any gwnn guys as well as
I know my kinky girlfriends, so that's who I was going to talk to
about it.
evile: My boss is getting better--instead of being negative about the
work stacking up, she sent out email saying we were getting a lot of
stuff in and asked everyone to do their best to get a lot done today.
As a result I've been willing to work hard. yay :)
SkyeDS: :D
evile: (nevermind the fact that we might be behind because nasty 350
lb woman brought in her new baby and everyone but me stood around
talking and admiring the baby for almost 2 hours yesterday...)
SkyeDS: last time Sineater was away from Arthur for 3 days, Arthur cried
for him the entire time
SkyeDS: I don't know how we're going to make it one month
SkyeDS: would be different if I could bring him to work with me, but
I can't. Hugh wouldn't care but everyone else would.
evile: *nod*
evile: I guess just set him up at home as best you can with TV,
radio, window to look out of and hope for the best...
SkyeDS: he h as all that anyway
SkyeDS: with the exception of tv/radio
evile: *nod*
evile: It's tough when the critters are sad, because you can't
explain to them what's going on...but you've got to do what's best
for the whole household
SkyeDS: he obviously won't be happy if we have no place to live.
evile: exactly.
SkyeDS: but I can't imagine the new baby was enthralled to be there
yesterday
evile: I think it slept.
evile: I'm trying to get a lot done today to reinforce the
respectful, positive, professional boss-behavior.
SkyeDS: good idea
evile: she's pretty erratic, but I'll give it a try anyhow.
evile: realistically, Ishould be looking for a new job, not wasting
time rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. But the leg. is in
session, and I am silly & hopeful.
SkyeDS: nod
SkyeDS: Sineater is online btw
evile: It's been 4 years...really just time to move on.
evile: oh.
SkyeDS: slash wombat (aim)
evile: I don't have aim on my work 'puter.
SkyeDS: oh, sowwy :(
evile: no big. Not your fault.
evile: my yahoo web messenger and aim web app dont' seem to work at
all.
evile: yahoo web messenger *used* to work, but it would crash my
whole computer, and then it quit working at all.
SkyeDS: brb
evile: ok
evile: time for me to go. see ya later!
