    Oh my f*cking god.

    1. I was pregnant once, I nearly miscarried violently 8 times in 8
weeks, and so I decided to terminate quickly and cleanly before I
terminated, well, not quickly and not cleanly. There is no way in
h*ll I'd allow myself to go through that again, much less 14 times.

My weekend was a little unproductive.

I saw a bad play on Friday with Niki. She had suggested it, and the
listing in the Chronicle made it look entertaining, but it was not.
It was also supposed to be improv, but it was not. They took audience
suggestions at the beginning for the main character's name and a
couple of generic places (which they did not use, I don't
think)...anyway, I told her *I'm* picking the next show we see.

Saturday a.m. I went to yoga w/e.. I thought she'd stood me up
because she didn't get there until very late, like the instructor had
entered the room & was telling people to scoot in so the last minute
people could come in. She brought her friend Vince. After class, we
went to breakfast at a pretentious little coffeehouse, and then I
went home. e. shared with me her 'quintessential Austin' moment
when she was on her laptop using free wi fi and talking on her cell
phone and I just kind of went 'bleh'--I'm so not tech. (anti hipster?
I dunno...I just don't get all the gadget worship & obvious use of
all gadgets possible out in public while ignoring the humans
    nearby...)

We had to get stuff notarized for the city, so I kept waiting around
for Sweetie to get up and dressed, and finally about 3, it happened. That
was a little annoying. I needed to go to the grocery store and check
the po box, and I also wanted to do some mall ratting & such... We
did get to the PO box after the notary, but that was bout it.

Went to the GWNN munch Saturday evening. All the girlfriends had said
they weren't coming, so I decided to invite thewordnerd the blind guy. And
then the girls showed up. And left for the after-munch play party
together. That kind of annoyed me. thewordnerd got his membership card & we
were waiting for the board member in charge of new members to give
a 'new member orientation' which supposedly happens after each
munch, and it never happened. We finally left--the acousitics in the
place are very bad, it was noisy, and thewordnerd was getting cranky as a
result. He is so very negative, whiney, and ungrateful. I don't think
I really want to spend much time with him anymore. *sigh* I certainly
sympathize with his situation, I have a lot of the same issues re:
meeting people, doing what I'm interested in doing, etc. but....egh.
On the plus side, J (the rope dom with the little tiny young
subbie girl), introduced himself and they visisted a bit, and he had
job leads for thewordnerd AND may possibly give him rides to GWNN stuff.
    cool.

I visited with M, the older guy in the yellow tinted glasses,
who also goes to Poly stuff. He's very cool. He does square foot
gardening, and was in Vegas same time as us (he was wearing
the 'bite' baseball cap! He said the souvenir booth was open AFTER
the show and manned by the cast. dang, I wish I'd known that. Oh
well. next time) He said we just missed the big floods in Vegas, it
rained like 2" on the strip and since the city has no drainage, it
was a huge problem. Anyway, it was cool to chat with him, he's a very
    nice person.

Sunday, Sweetie was busy, which was good, but it was in my 'sphere' which
kept me from doing what I wanted to do (laundry & dishes, cleaning
kitchen)--he replaced valves & hoses on the washing machine (the hot
and cold were both leaking),and got a new faucet for the kitchen
sink, & installed it. It's nice having a guy who is capable around
the house. No idea why he decided to do the sink this weekend, maybe
a 'while I'm at it' kind of mindset?

I did finally get to the grocery store (mostly because we were out of
    catfood) and I made dinner--pasta with a spinach & cream sauce &
shrimp marinated in chipotle marinade. Max came over. That was nice.

This a.m. I got back on my good behavior: up at 5:30, a.m. Yoga
video, then breakfast-- oatmeal with berries, 1 egg w/cheese, Emergen-
    C, & hot green tea.

I had a salmon filet (in the microwave--yay for stinkin' out the
coworkers!) and salad for lunch today. It was yummy.

Yahoo travel has air fare to cancun for $173 (travel has to be
    completed by March 18 though)...*sigh*

Not that I've got the cash to do it, or that my boss would remove the
stick long enough to give me a week off from work or anything...oh
    well.

I'm having an unpleasant thing today where I'm urinating fairly
frequently and always feel a good bit of urgency when it's time to do
so. Not cool. Wonder if it's an infection, or just a 'more
    water/getting old' thing...

evile: hi! How was your trip?
    SkyeDS: it wasn't.
SkyeDS: the engine gave us a transmission code
    SkyeDS: so we didn't go
evile: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that
SkyeDS: and now they're saying, after they told us NOT to drive on
it, that they can't get the code to come back, so there must not be
    anything wrong
    evile: that's very frustrating.
evile: I was assuming that Sineater would have called me re: thursday if
he'd been in town to do so. Oh well.
SkyeDS: he has been on the phone all day today putting out fires
    SkyeDS: or he would have
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: they're threatening him with loss of his job if he doesn't go
to New Hampshire to work for four weeks
SkyeDS: and they're screwing him around with t he details of that
SkyeDS: and then there's the trailer problem. in addition to the
    truck problem.
evile: It would be unpleasant, but I'm sure it could be done...
SkyeDS: telling him he'd get $35 an hour to get him to go, and then
paying him $22, is a deal breaker.
    evile: yeah.
SkyeDS: wanting him to drive a standard truck with one arm in a cast,
t hat has nearly 200K on it to NH is a deal breaker.
evile: they're not flying him?!? NO way!
    SkyeDS: zactly
SkyeDS: and they're threatning to cut him off insurance before his
surgery is done, if he doesn't go, regardless of whatever dicking
    around they do with terms
    evile: that's awful!!
SkyeDS: ya and that's one of three fires of equal size
SkyeDS: so things are a little stressful atm.
evile: sounds like. *hugs* Sorry to hear it.
SkyeDS: my irrational way of dealing when I am too overwhelmed to be
rational anymore is to start shooting people in face w bazooka.
evile: I certainly know that feeling.
SkyeDS: in t he meanwhile as depressed as we both are, I'm going to
keep shooting one ant at a time
    SkyeDS: one of the
SkyeDS: millions will eventually kill me
SkyeDS: but it won't be the one I just shot
    evile: :nod
SkyeDS: how go things in the real, normal world?
evile: which world would that be?
SkyeDS: I thought you probably knew more about it than me LOL
evile: um...buncha dead people half way round the world.
    SkyeDS: ya, noticed that
evile: closer to home, D. is going to have induced C section on the
27th (Josephine's Bday, too!) unless baby Ian decides to come sooner.
evile: the GWNN munch was good.
    evile: GWNN party next weekend.
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: Sweetie is fixing the clothes washer & installed a new kitchen
    faucet this weekend.
evile: Niki and I saw a BAD play on Friday. I told her I'm picking
    the next one.
SkyeDS: is Sweetie an experienced type plumber?
evile: He has a time life book.
    evile: and tools.
evile: spent a lot of time cussing.
evile: so I don't know about 'experienced'....but so far the house is
    still standing.
SkyeDS: ...does the stuff work now...? lol
evile: still getting a part for the washer. The sink is fine.
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: we'd been doing wash with just cold water for a couple weeks
now...the valve for the hot was leaking so he turned it off.
SkyeDS: Sineater wants to know if he can borrow Sweetie's time life book
evile: it's Sweetie's...and he's still in the middle of repairs, so I'd
    have to say 'ask Sweetie'
    SkyeDS: ok doke :)
evile: alot of married people do the "what's mine is mine and what's
his is mine" (quote from Aunt L)...but since we aren't married, and I
wouldn't wnat Sweetie taking those liberties with my stuff, I don't take
those kind of liberties with his.
SkyeDS: I'm not sure Sineater's intent was for you to do that, it may
have been for you to ask Sweetie, but I think it's a better idea for him
    t o ask Sweetie without us :)
    evile: *nodnod*
evile: If not, I'd be happy to try and check out a library book for
    Sineater to use.
SkyeDS: I looked into getting a card when we lived just outside the
    city limits
SkyeDS: they wanted $35 a year for it and I was like, uh, n o
    evile: yup
SkyeDS: I like the title of "evil henchman," it's cute
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: Sineater says that "minion" would be a promotion
    evile: *lol*
SkyeDS: he probably bought that one in one of their many series
SkyeDS: maybe I could find him a single one at a bookstore on line or
    otherwise
evile: half price books usually has a pretty good selection in that
    section
SkyeDS: there's a plumbing for dummies LOL (I think there's an
    (insert anything here) for dummies)
evile: most terrifying thing I've ever seen: Voodoo for dummies
    SkyeDS: omfg no
    evile: yup
SkyeDS: voodoo for dummies = wicca
    SkyeDS: j/k
    evile: *laff*
SkyeDS: that was bad of me, please don't repeat it.
    evile: nah
evile: You get what you put into stuff, esp. when it comes to
    spiritual practice.
SkyeDS: that was just bad of me to say. that's not true of all of
them. I have friends it isn't true of.
evile: I imagine if you're too lazy to do real research and real
work, nothing is going to work for you..that or the Loa will eat your
    head.
SkyeDS: my friend the priest gave me his Oya beads
SkyeDS: apparently She told him to do so, with instructions on what
it means to have been adopted by Her (I was and still am clueless)
    evile: hm.
evile: Well, it's 4. I gotta shake a leg here.
SkyeDS: wind to your wings :)
    evile: hope everything works out!
