evile: I finally heard from D. we're going to SA on Saturday, picnic
at the McNay and then hanging at Rio's.

evile: There's an anti-war thing on Sunday. I might or might not
attend. Not sure yet.
SkyeDS: I was just reading about Colin Powell
SkyeDS: I feel so bad for him
evile: lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.
SkyeDS: I think he was trying to keep the dogs on leashes
evile: too bad he didn't realize these particular specimens were
rabid and mangey

evile: And, oh, surprise, he got treated like a token nigger. What a

SkyeDS: just hurts me that Harry Belafonte, who has a tremendous
voice, called him an Uncle Tom
SkyeDS: and then Bush turned around and hung him out to dry, making

evile: like I said, what a fuckin 'surprise.
SkyeDS: I was hoping that Rummy would leave with Asscroft, evening
the playing field a little for Powell
SkyeDS: Bush wouldn't be so bad if he had better people around him
and listened more
SkyeDS: and the Padilla decision today saddens me
evile: Well, after hearing Barb's witty comments, I can definitely
tell where W gets his compassion and humanity from.
SkyeDS: he is more influenced by those around him than his father,
who was smarter
evile: yup
evile: and Bush I at least had the brains to fake like he gave a shit
about the little people.
SkyeDS: I don't know what the man thought he was doing hiring someone
that the IAHA ceremoniously dumped
SkyeDS: if he has any sense left at all, Brown will quietly retire
(be asked to leave) when it's all over
SkyeDS: unceremoniously I meant to say
evile: one would hope.
SkyeDS: and putting FEMA under DHS wasn't too bright either
evile: 'clusterfuck' is the word I keep hearing....

SkyeDS: there are only 38 things the feds do better than the private
sector, and those are in the Constitution

evile: Mom says CPS took the kids. She didn't say whether they'd been
taken to [Rubber Pig]'s mom, or into state fostering. I really don't wanna
know.
SkyeDS: [Brother A]'s kid too?
evile: yup
evile: [Brother A]'s latest twist on his story is that he 'gave [Rubber Pig] a
venereal disease that could kill her'...Sweetie's reply "Pregnancy?"
SkyeDS: talk about reaping what you sow (lying down with dogs...)
SkyeDS: [Brother A] gave [Rubber Pig] VD?
evile: that's the story now. I don't believe it--[Rubber Pig] delivered
vaginally and hte baby checked out fine at the ER. If she'd had
anything the baby would have gotten it.
SkyeDS: rolls eyes
evile: I wouldn't be surprised if [Rubber Pig] had picked up VD somewhere,
at some point, but not before she had [Brother A]'s baby. ANd [Brother A] has been
monogamous since htey got together. So...?
SkyeDS: my dear, I don't think your brother has any hold at all left
on anything faintly resembling sanity
evile: nope.
evile: That's why we preface everything with "according to __"
or "The story now is ___"....we are not stating facts, we are stating
what the latest fiction is and from whom the fiction is spouting.
SkyeDS: think your moms can let go now?
evile: [Brother A] has always been weak-minded but I would have to say, I
challeng ANYONE to live in a 2 bedroom house with 3 adults and 4
kids, not getting proper sleep or nutrition, having a woman
screaming, crying, harassing, and otherwise disrupting your existence
and not go fucking nuts.
evile: I've seen similar happen to stronger people...it's pretty
classic cult brainwashing technique
evile: Mom is Done.
evile: She is back in IN, doing her art, writing plays, making an
altar, and moving on with her own life.
SkyeDS: good for her! :D
evile: yeah.
evile: I told her she's better and braver than I am for hanging in
there and spending as much time and giving as much love to those kids
for as long as their asshole parents would allow it...I feel sorry as
hell for those kids.
SkyeDS: I wonder what's going through A's head now that he's got a
child and lost it
evile: "[Rubber Pig] wants, [Rubber Pig] said, [Rubber Pig] told me, me me me, i , i , i,
bla bla bla"
SkyeDS: with t he kids gone maybe we can all be rid of them finally?
SkyeDS: although being rid of [Rubber Pig] also means being rid of [Brother A]....
evile: eh, they'll be back. as soon as they want something from us.
evile: I still wouldn't put it past her to demand a sprog-centric
famly Xmas bullshit-o-rama
evile: assuming she hasn't gotten another sperm donor and doesn't
have another blessed miracle on the way by then, I guess...
SkyeDS: what I haven't said to my family yet is that now that Stuart
has no reason to stay in NOLA now, he ought to go back to Atlanta
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I'll be good and keep it to myself until a weak moment that I
know will happen eventually
evile: yeah...that's tough.
SkyeDS: he's got a job in Txka and is still with my parents, while
his live in has gone back to LA
SkyeDS: how much better than Atlanta could Txka be?
evile: *laff* beats me.
evile: crap. my computer is fucking up, I need to reboot. BRB

evile: 5 or 6 reboots later, and I'm (maybe) OK. feh!!!!

SkyeDS: I'm sending out my resume
SkyeDS: after adding this job, it was 3 pages
evile: *nod* good plan!
SkyeDS: even cutting off a lot of old stuff
evile: *fingers crossed*
SkyeDS: I'm looking at part time jobs in RR, which means I could
still work some for Hugh
SkyeDS: and a full time position in Hutto, w hich is only half as far
from home as Austin
evile: that sounds like a good plan :)
SkyeDS: he never wanted me 40 hours anyway
evile: it would be nice to have a shorter commute & maybe more $
SkyeDS: going to mail, email and fax this to Hutto. maybe that will
impress them with how much I want the position.
evile: cool :)
evile: i still need to get my state app back from [aunt L].
SkyeDS: nods. I need to get the req numbers I want from Dell to sineater
so he can put me directly in touch with whomever I need be
SkyeDS: I would like to be an Exec Admin for Hutto
evile: cool :)
SkyeDS: Dell would be good too
evile: yup!
SkyeDS: actually...sineater could drop me off in Hutto on his way to work
SkyeDS: it woudl put me t here an hour early but he'd be right on
time to get me, he's always having to work over
SkyeDS: that would accomplish about the same thing as us both working
at Dell
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: got to do some stuff on his box, brb

SkyeDS: not one but two pieces of litigation to get out today

evile: well, I get to leave in 5 minutes, so I'm gonna go toss papers
& stuff.
