Quora: Why do narcissists act like they hate you?

 It’s not an act. In fact, hate the only emotion they have that isn’t an act.

Hate is the base-line emotion that all narcissists feel for everyone underneath all of their manipulations and play-acting. Hate is the only true emotion that a narcissist feels.

If the narc has peeled away their mask to show you their utter disdain, disregard and loathing they feel for you, congratulations! You have seen the true face of the narcissist. The true face of ALL narcissists. Now, RUN!
