evile: phone duty! ick.
SkyeDS: aw
evile: oh, well. I get to go home an hour earlier.
SkyeDS: this week has been hell on wheels
SkyeDS: got a speeding ticket when I wasn't speeding, and he didn't
clock it with radar, so I'm taking that to court
evile: sorry :( Hopefully you'll have a nice weekend
SkyeDS: got hit by a bus
SkyeDS: got hit this morning buying boots
SkyeDS: parentals coming
evile: good lord.
SkyeDS: had to talk them out of driving over the septic tank with a
bale of hay
SkyeDS: keep trying to tell them, you cannot haul a 2500 pound bale
of hay with a ranger, 4 cyl auto tran.
evile: *shrug* their mecanics will be happy to see them.
SkyeDS: in Rockdale?
SkyeDS: I told Mom last night, ok look
evile: Oh, well, the mechanic in Rockdale will be happy to see them,
then.
SkyeDS: first of all, Connie is going to give me a half bale for free
SkyeDS: so just toodle over there and get the baby bale
evile: nice of her.
SkyeDS: two large bales is two months worth, and I don't need that
SkyeDS: I need a week's worth
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: (I don't really need that, but you can't convince my parents)
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: if you insist on buying large bales on top of the free baby
bale, then have Wayne put it in the big pasture on SUnday with his
tractor
SkyeDS: which will work fine because I"m not putting up the tape till
next weekend
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: do NOT under any circumstances go over there and get any of
the bales and then if you manage to make it to my place before you
drop your transmission or crack your engine block, then proceed to
drive over my septic tank on your way to the pasture gates
SkyeDS: and do NOT do what sineater does, which is to drive it around the
bakc of the house, turn off the fence, cut the fence, drop the bale,
then put the fence back up
SkyeDS: I d on't CARE if the horses aren't there
evile: ugh.
SkyeDS: it's sineater's fence, he knows what he's doing. (I didn't say
it out loud, but y'all don't).
SkyeDS: bought new boots :)
evile: cool.
SkyeDS: got hit by a kid who after I was kind enough to say, let's
just let this go, you hurt yourself more than me
SkyeDS: went home and told his mom I hit him
evile: ugh.
SkyeDS: so she calls me at work
SkyeDS: I'm like, um, look lady
SkyeDS: your under 25 yo boy, who was driving his daddy's brand new
luxury car sans license
SkyeDS: backed into me
SkyeDS: look at the damage and you'll see what I"m saying is true
evile: wow.
SkyeDS: I was being kind, because there was no damage to me, and I
drove to work, a nd no problems with undercarriage
evile: why did you give him contact info if you weren't going to call
cops.insurance,etc?
SkyeDS: because I asked for his
SkyeDS: just in case there was damage to my undercarriage
SkyeDS: that usually isn't discoverable until you're out driving it
(like down the interstate to work or hauling horses)
evile: so if you'd found damage, you'd have been willing to do the
same thing his mom did to you first?
SkyeDS: if it had required repair, yes, I would have called her
evile: hm. Ok then.
SkyeDS: didn't take her long to figure out her kid's story was off
SkyeDS: first of all, he's been hit before, and he didn't think to
get my plates
SkyeDS: secondly, if I had hit him rather than the other way around
he would have been screaming for the cops
SkyeDS: even if he didn't have his DL
SkyeDS: thirdly, yes he has damage to his rear end.
SkyeDS: no that does not make it my fault, because the paint he took
off, was from my side
SkyeDS: I cannot hit the rear end of his car with the side of my truck
SkyeDS: so when I related to her what really happened, and presented
her with the evidence (and made liberal mention of my experience with
insurance litigation), she agreed I had been kind, and was very
thankful.
evile: good.
SkyeDS: one ticket and getting hit twice, in one week
SkyeDS: hm.
SkyeDS: and sineater reported the business with the bus
SkyeDS: even though he agreed that the damage is not worth being out
one vehicle for any length of time
evile: omg, that sucks.
SkyeDS: because if I had stepped out before I did
SkyeDS: I would be dead
evile: wow.
SkyeDS: so I have to call them today
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I think once I tell them no I don't want my truck in the shop
they'll blow it off altogether
SkyeDS: but I'll do it anyway
evile: hope so
SkyeDS: having to share one truck for a 40 mile commute to Round Rock
with an additional 20 miles into Austin would suck
SkyeDS: and not having the truck on the weekend for a ding to the
door is completely unfathomable
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: but, sineater is right, I could have been killed. And Hugh
watched a bus go speeding through a red light just yesterday
evile: not good.
SkyeDS: but, I got my kickass boots to wear with my corset t his
weekend, so there
evile: online, or out in the world?
SkyeDS: don't hate me - Walmart
evile: *shrug*
SkyeDS: one of the firedancers was wearing them last weekend
evile: cool.
evile: I am definitely ready to be out of here. I am in a silly frame
of mind, in a 'tweaking people's tails' kind of way...probably not
the best frame of mind for work.
SkyeDS: lol no...but it is a LOVELY day outside. I wish I could go
out and play.
evile: Ladydreamtime's new guy is good fun for tweaking. He's some kind of
wacky commie socialist, so I am forever making fascist pronouncements
to make him jump around and froth at the mouth
SkyeDS: I tend to lean libertarian mostly so I tweak everybody
SkyeDS: conservatives hollar that I'm liberal and liberals vice versa
SkyeDS: I should share with you one of my favorite quotes pages once
I find the url again - awesome source
evile: Oh, I"m not actually saying anything I believe, I'm just
saying stuff to get a rise out of him. He has about 4 more feet of
depth on him than I do, when it comes to politics and economics &
shit, so I just dabble in the water and watch him get all stirred up.
SkyeDS: shame on you :P
SkyeDS: oh wait, you admit to being discordian, what am I saying :P
SkyeDS: www.mega.nu:8080/ampp
SkyeDS: ok here's the deal
SkyeDS: I suspect that's a wacko site
evile: enh. I like stirring poeple up. It's a bad habit...I play
rough but don't mean to hurt anyone.
SkyeDS: in the frames, on the left hand side, t here's a quotations
page
SkyeDS: that's all I've read, because the Quotes are good
SkyeDS: I do NOT vouch for anything else on the site (I haven't read
it)
evile: aha.
evile: zappos emailed me...there are more new earth shoes. I adore
these boots.

SkyeDS: why, why do the long winded clients call right as I'm trying
to eat?
evile: some sub-section of Murphy's law, I'm sure.
SkyeDS: I am so easily amused/pleased
SkyeDS: sometimes my little nuked lunches are the highlight of my day
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I'm even more positive now t hat Hugh would pay me before he
paid himself if twere necessary.
evile: that is nice.
SkyeDS: if we didn't have plans halloween weekend I would be at that
corset thing
evile: I'm thinking of going, anyway. I may be tired the next
day...but maybe I can nap in the van on the way to TRF
SkyeDS: I would but it's on Friday
SkyeDS: I'd have to go home, have the boys put me in the corset, go
back to Ausitn, go home again
SkyeDS: load up and go back to Austin the next day for SCA
SkyeDS: unless I wore the corset all day at work
SkyeDS: (um...no...on many levels, just, no)
evile: I'm sure there's an easier way to do that...couldn't sineater stop
by your office on his way out on Friday, lace you up Friday after
work?
SkyeDS: that might work
SkyeDS: always takes him so much longer to get anywhere than me
SkyeDS: and he would be cranky if I asked him to drive to Austin from
Round Rock rather than straight home
evile: *nod* tell me about it...
SkyeDS: but it is a good idea to retain for general purposes
evile: You need one more boyfriend, in town.
SkyeDS: ROFL
SkyeDS: if you went I could always meet you there and you could pour
me into it
SkyeDS: probably better than either of the boys
evile: 'there' being?
SkyeDS: where the corset thing is
SkyeDS: elysium or wherever
evile: oh, actually in the club? Have you seen their ladies
room...I'm not sure if I'd care to do wardrobe in there...
SkyeDS: although the other thing is, I WON"T be able to sleep while
travelling Sat, since I'm driving
SkyeDS: I was thinking your house
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I do think I've been in Elysium's rest room once
SkyeDS: shudder
evile: No offense, but I kind of have issues with playing 'maid' for
you...
SkyeDS: or not :P
evile: (or anyone, for that matter)
SkyeDS: anyway, not doable unless I want to sleep all day Saturday,
which is not an option
SkyeDS: and I still have to figure out where we're trick or treating
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: Kelly and the kids usually opt for Cedar Park, we've got
invitations to Leander, Rockdale and now from friends in Round Rock
evile: We're doing 6th st. with Rio and Peglegasus.
SkyeDS: have fun. I'm not that brave. I worked 6th on Halloween when
I was driving carriages/dealing blackjack/playing Ivory Cats. Thanks
anyway.
evile: Sweetie likes it. Sweetie & Peglegasus are both regulars at the Ritz, so we
at least get in there free.
evile: Sweetie wants me to go as Lyndie England & him in an orange
jumpsuit with a leash & collar....eeps.
evile: yay! Time to go :)
evile: Have an excellent weekend-looks like it's going to be great
camping weather!
evile: *hugs*
