me & Mom at the hotel in Lolo springs, one of our neighbors had the
windows open & was taking pictures of girls in fetish garb, squirting
each other with hoses. In our room it was on some kind of reality TV
show, interspersed with pre-taped stuff where the photographer & the
models talked about their work. Was curioius to see what they were
doing RL while the pre-taped stuff ran. Went into the gift shop and
they had rubber dresses & skirts, printed with june cleaver type
aprons, pearls, & whatnot. You could get rubber wigs to go with the
    dresses, too.

We went somewhere and a large boy said something about 'welcome to
the hillbillies'...we ended up having to take care of some kids. at
first they were stranger kids but ended up being Chris, Jordan,a nd
Jess. We were trying to feed them real food but they wouldn't eat
anything healthy, then they were eating the weenies out of pigs in a
    blanket, but not the bread.

Dreams were somewhat disturbing & negative in feel. Pace & I did talk
a bit about Xtal last night at dinner, and I also had gone off on a
tangent re: meth earlier in the evening w/Chance, Tony & Jennie. Ugh.
    tiresome!

evile: hey :) phone duty from hell AND I got in late today. What a
    day.
    SkyeDS: HUGS
evile: means I still leave at 4 so I guess its' OK.
evile: How's your day been? Things with Hugh and the bank, etc.
    settling down?
    SkyeDS: nods
evile: good. That's a crazy way to try & do business....
evile: Polydinner last night was fun. It was mostly guys. And I was
among the more modestly-endowed of the 4 ladies there. That was a
    first.
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: Jenni, then Chance, then me, then Pace. It was interesting.
evile: Did your parents get in at some ungodly hour last night?
evile: (Chance is a gorgeous thing, BTW. She seemed very cool, too.)
    SkyeDS: 10 pm
SkyeDS: you have very pretty friends
    SkyeDS: lots of t hem
evile: 10 isn't so bad. I guess they called while they were on the
road then...isn't it like 6+/- hours from texarkana?
SkyeDS: they got diverted to Corsicana
SkyeDS: accident shut down entire highway
SkyeDS: then cop gave them godawful long way detour
    evile: ugh! That sucks!
SkyeDS: if they'd had a map
SkyeDS: I've never known them to go without one
evile: Probaly figured they'd made the drive to Austin a bazzillion
    times & didn't need one.
    SkyeDS: exactly
evile: Poor fam. Are they staying with you?
    SkyeDS: hotel
evile: good. Much less stress on you!
SkyeDS: I always give them the master bed and bath suite, but I don't
think my bed is comfortable for them
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: the oldest familyi owned motel in texas is in Rockdale, with
    antiques in all the rooms
SkyeDS: but they didn't want to stay there
    evile: too bad.
evile: Did they go with generic Motel 6 or whatever? Some people
would rather go with what they know. I sympathise.
    SkyeDS: best western
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: they were happy with it last weekend *shrug*
evile: Yeah. I can definitely see going with what has worked in the
    past. I do that, too.
SkyeDS: most BWs allow pets. this one apparently doesn't <shrug>
evile: BW is a very odd chain, in that it's not really a chain, but a
franchise where you can own any kind of rooming house and buy the BW
name and have people make reservations thru the 800#.
evile: I hear the BW in Spain are these gorgeous old castles.
evile: And the BW in Italy are tiny little rooms with sinks but no
    shower or potty.
SkyeDS: B&B would be cool business
evile: lots of work, irregular schedule, very little free time. But,
    other than that...yeah.
evile: Mom got it into her head that I needed to buy the Stone School
B&B in Ungodly, MT. Neat place, cool idea...but MonFuckingTana.
evile: Plus I'd need to go back to school & get another degree if I
    wanted to do it right.
SkyeDS: does [dad] want to live in MT?
    evile: I don't think so.
evile: I think he would have gone to new mexico with the right career
    offer, but not MT.
SkyeDS: buy a school w/ what money?
    evile: who the hell knows.
evile: I definitely know where [brother A] inherited his 'pie in the sky'
    mentality from...
    SkyeDS: aw lol
evile: At least mom backs up some of her talk with activity. She
doesn't just say "i'm gonna be famous" and then sit around waiting
for someone to discover her brillance.
SkyeDS: she's very good at what she does
    evile: Yes she is.
evile: I am rather dreading my next trip to the PO box. I'm sure
there's another wondeful letter from her there.
evile: I'm just going to remove ego and stop needing to be right and
see if that helps when dealing with family.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: The important thing is I love them, and they love me. Being
angry & misunderstanding will pass, if we don't keep feeding it.
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: WWHD = What Would [sister H] Do?
    SkyeDS: ;)
evile: Well, I know I couldn't ever be as patient & good as [uncle B], so
I'll try for a step below. Still human, but a better human than me. :P
evile: I mentally experimented with "WWND" (N being Nanny, our mom's
mom)...but decided Nanny would have opened a can of whoopass on
[rubber pig]'s skank ass from Day 1, Minute 1. So...no WWND.
    SkyeDS: lolol
evile: I do sometimes wish she was still with us. The showdown in the
ICU would have been a sight to behold. (if things had gone that far,
which they wouldn't with Nanny still alive)
SkyeDS: and I would have missed good drama
    evile: This is true.
evile: I prefer my drama to be non-life-threatening & involve people
I don't know very well or dont' like very much.
evile: (why all the urinary disagreements on HFS sites amuse me)
    SkyeDS: lol
evile: The way people fuss & carry on, you'd think it was life or
    death...but, no, it's a game, kids. Just a game.
evile: One of my callers at lunchtime told me I was a 'blessing from
god'...that was such a nice thing to hear, after all the mishegoss
    lately.
    SkyeDS: amen :)
evile: I was just doing my job...but it was really nice to be
    appreciated.
evile: Definitely a good lesson from god/universe/whatever. Do my
best & be sure to let people know when I appreciate them.
    SkyeDS: can preach that
evile: Sometimes things just seem very simple, don't they? :) at
    least in theory.
SkyeDS: I was letting people know they were appreciated on Chaos when
one of said people saw fit to attack me. But that's rare.
evile: *nod* and...that's their problem, not yours.
evile: I've seen you grow so much & become a much more centered
person. It's too bad if other people can't see past their own stupid
mess to appreciate the effort you've put in.
SkyeDS: I do what I like now
SkyeDS: I'm old fat wasted too much of life already, I'm going to
play catch up till the day I die, I don't have time for other
    people's shit
evile: That definitely helps. I always noticed that you were more
centered when you were with your piano or your critter(s)
evile: And it is always unproductive to muddle around in other
    people's waste products :P
evile: Actually, Nanny is the one who noticed that first & pointed it
    out to me.
evile: You were playing piano at a party and she said something about
how it was almost like you were a different person when you were
playing. Told someone to "just let her play, you can tell it's what
    she loves"
SkyeDS: I think I would have liked her
evile: I didn't like her. she was a critical, nasty, close-minded old
bitch who took no nonsense from any one (except her golden boys)
evile: But at least you always knew where you stood with her :) Which
is something I've come to value as I've moved along in the world.
    SkyeDS: nods
    SkyeDS: brb need to eat
    evile: ok
    SkyeDS: bk
evile: wb. late for a lunch break!
SkyeDS: I just don't think about it till tummy says, excuse me
evile: *nod* that happens when I get busy with a project at home.
Working for the state, our breaks are regulated so I just eat at
    lunchtime, regardless.
SkyeDS: ate bigger breakfast than usual too
    evile: breakfast is good
evile: Saturday's picnic is looking to be a little...odd. but I'm
going to go anyway. I like [thewordnerd].
SkyeDS: Saturday is very full for me
SkyeDS: 8 am lesson, ranch work day, shire party
evile: Me too. :) it's a good thing. Yours too, I hope.
evile: is the shire party the one at Sharjinka's? or something else?
    ScA?
evile: Oh, wow. it's 4 already! Getting here late sure helped the day
    fly!
    SkyeDS: yep
    SkyeDS: Rockdale SCA shireparty
evile: Cool. I'm glad y'all have a little group to hang with close to
home. Anyhoo, I'll yap at ya tomorrow, I'm sure.
*HUGS* You are a blessing from God :)
    evile: (ess)
    SkyeDS: HUGS :)
evile: Have fun with your 'rents :)
