industrial shower, [brother A] killed someone in there, I was helping him
get rid of evidence. I had my leased subaru wagon & was wondering if
cops had been watching the scene of the crime for people to leave.
Something like if they didn't have enough proof, they couldn't arrest
    [brother A].

Then New Orleans, we were on a patio (restaurant?) near the beginning
of the quarter off Canal, the place across from us was a bbw
hotel/restaurant establishment, lots of balconies. All these fatties
in gauzy clothing came out and started posing. Mom pointed them out
to some kids that were with us. They started flashing. One guy
started taking photos and one of the fatties said something like "at
    least ONE person appreciates us!"

I had taken my camera apart and made it look like the lantern that
the Hermit carries in the tarot cards, I was giving it to [brother A] for a
costume. I said something like 'darn, too bad my camera is in pieces'

Then we were getting in a car [Sweetie's Trooper?] on Guadalupe st. in
Austin and [brother A]'s dog Paulie jumped out of the car and ran down the
busy downtown streets. Mom just wanted to let him go, he'd come back
later. I said no, that he'd be killed. I ran after him and found him
humping a female dog on the sidewalk. I picked him up and carried him
back to the car, saying something like "that's the shortest
relationship a [sineater lastname] male has ever had with a crazy bitch!"

Subconscious working very well last night, I think.

    evile: I want this:
    http://gypsymvp.com/braveheart.htm
    SkyeDS: I bet.
evile: I think he's still in great britain. *sigh* He's so cute,
    looks like my eris-kitty!
    SkyeDS: wonder what they're askin
    evile: 16,500
evile: but I think that's just to buy him, then you're still going to
pay to bring him overseas, quarantine, etc.
evile: And then after that, you've got about a mortage payments worth
    of monthly expenses.
SkyeDS: why would anyone geld one is what I want to know
    evile: *shrug*
evile: I've decided that _if_ I ever have a horse, it's going to be a
    gelding.
SkyeDS: geldinga high dollar horse is a waste of investment
evile: *shrug* depends what you want him for.
evile: If you want an even tempered companion with strength & good
looks, I think a gelding is the way to go.
    SkyeDS: yes
SkyeDS: but you don't geld a high dollar horse
SkyeDS: particularly not the draft/warms and the cold bloods
SkyeDS: you don't have to geld them to get even temper from them
evile: *shrug* doesn't seem like there are many vanner geldings
    avail. in the US.
    SkyeDS: that's automatic
SkyeDS: matter of fact most Friesian stallions are as well behaved if
not better behaved than most QH geldings
evile: Vanner geldings seem to be about 10 grand cheaper than
    stallions.
SkyeDS: geldings are always cheaper than stallions
SkyeDS: you can't make money off them
SkyeDS: but Vanners are rare, so I don't see the point in gelding any
    of them
evile: If I could afford a vanner, i would not be looking to make
    money off one.
evile: I would not be interested in the fairly traumatic-looking
    breeding process.
SkyeDS: ok, so let's say you end up with one of the few left in
existence, and then you can't breed it for the sake of the breed
evile: They are not dying off, they are actually increasing in
    population. From waht I understand.
SkyeDS: but not to the point where they should be gelding yet.
SkyeDS: they nearly breed Friesians completely out of existance like
    that
evile: I'm CF and sterilized, having a CF and sterilized mount seems
to make sense to me. :P
evile: Plus Braveheart is 5 and recently gelded, so he probably has
plenty of frozen stuff in storage somewhere.
    SkyeDS: hope so.
SkyeDS: problem is, that's too late to geld a horse if you want to
    change his temper
SkyeDS: you have to do that at the age of 2
SkyeDS: a warmblood light draft shouldn't be needed to be gelded to
    change his temper
SkyeDS: so they did it for some other reason
evile: Maybe he has something they dont' want to pass on, but he's
not a bad horse in himself.
SkyeDS: can't think of any other reason
evile: the 'trickster' personality is not really a usual
    characteristic for the breed.
SkyeDS: could be any number of things
SkyeDS: color, confirmation, eye color, some genetic illness that
can't be seen by the eye
    evile: aww! http://gypsymvp.com/The%20Gypsy%20King%20and%20Piper%
    205562F.jpg
SkyeDS: have said many times I'd rather put a small child on a Clyde
    than a pony
    evile: so sweet!!!
    http://gypsymvp.com/The%20Gypsy%20King%20&%20Piper%205565D.jpg
    evile: omFg!!
    http://gypsymvp.com/Curraghmorestanding.jpg [https://web.archive.org/web/20040805213223/http://gypsymvp.com/Curraghmorestanding.jpg]
SkyeDS: I know Mirage will do that. And I don't think it would take
much work with Jez for her to let sineater do that.
    evile: wow.
SkyeDS: Pat Parelli does that with Mustangs caught completely wild
he's only handled for 3 days
SkyeDS: (we aren't quite that insane)
    evile: um...no.
evile: I had an interesting dream about [brother A]'s dog last night.
    SkyeDS: ?
evile: Mom, Holly, and I were on Guadalupe near 4th, all getting into
Tom's purple trooper, and paulie jumped out of the car and ran away.
evile: Mom said 'leave him alone, he'll come home" but I saw him
running in traffic, so I ran after him. Eventually caught up with him
humping a bitch in heat on the sideewalk.
evile: I grabbed him and carried him back to the car, making some
remark to the effect that at least I can keep one male from a long
    relationship with a crazy bitch.
evile: My subconscious mind is amusing sometimes.
SkyeDS: Fillies in this classification can be bred to certified
Vanner stallions and the filly foals resulting from that breeding
are eligible to be certified at the age of 2 years as a Gypsy Vanner
Horse, but all colts resulting from this breeding are to be
    gelded.

SkyeDS: they might had to have gelded him
SkyeDS: I know the Friesian studbook does that
    SkyeDS: and the Lippizaner.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: there are even four "grades" of Arabian (A,B,C,D) and welsh
    pony.
    SkyeDS: hm
SkyeDS: there are cobs (under 14 hands)
    SkyeDS: Vanners (14 - 15.2) and Drums 16+
SkyeDS: and then within the Vanners there are three subcategs.
SkyeDS: unless they're considering Cobs & Minis the same thing and
Grands and Drums the same thing
SkyeDS: I've seen places that didn't claim to be selling Vanners but
do claim to be selling Cobs & Drums
SkyeDS: (look exactly the same, only difference being height)
evile: *nod* The more I know about horses, the more I know I don't
know & have no business even thinking about it.
SkyeDS: lol well that's not knowledge necessary for the animal's
    health happiness and well being
evile: No, that's about half a mortgage payment a month. easy!
SkyeDS: Traveller is the cheapest one they've got looks like and he's
    in AR
SkyeDS: they've got a mare for not much more
SkyeDS: I would have to give thought as to whether I'd rather have a
    mare or a stallion
SkyeDS: off top of head, would rather have stallion
SkyeDS: when it comes to Friesians and Vanners anyway.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: not a morgan or an arab tho.
SkyeDS: you discuss things with a stallion, you ask things of a mare,
and you tell a gelding what to do.
SkyeDS: I need to breed Mirage soon if I'm going to at all, and Jez
    shortly thereafter
    evile: heh.
evile: My brain is so interesting. I told you that [rubber pig] proudly
calls herself "the crazy Jewish bitch" and says it's a term of
affection from the Exxon clerks? And then I managed to come up with
that exact phrase in a dream about Al's dog. heh. I had forgotten all
    about that, then the dream.
SkyeDS: what was the dream from start to finish?
SkyeDS: (omfg, why would you do that, mix vanner with a quarter/arab
    cross)
evile: The lady in MT was breeding them to Clydesdales.
evile: Apparently in MT her vanners are seen as too small to
    be 'real' workhorses.
SkyeDS: I can see clydes, I can't see a quarab.
evile: The dream actually started with me helping [brother A] hide evidence
of a person he'd just killed in a big shower-building. Then the thing
with me, mom, & Holly getting into the trooper & paulie running away
through traffic to service a bitch in heat on the sidewalk. And then
me picking him up and saying something about 'at least Paulie is
having a short relationship with his crazy bitch' or something to
    that effect.
    SkyeDS: very literal dream
evile: I rather like it when my subconscious just comes right out and
    says something.
SkyeDS: wish they were all that easy
    evile: *nod*
evile: Even though it changed nothing in RL, I think it did help me
    feel better about things.
SkyeDS: omg, sineater's friend David who owns dragons' lair, sells minis,
    also sells Vanner/Cobs.
    evile: oh wow. cool!
SkyeDS: drums are tempting because they're so big (17 hands or so
SkyeDS: cobs are tempting because they're Mirage/Jesse size lol
    evile: yeah.
SkyeDS: Die Gelbe Rose had a black shire named Tara's Obsidian Lord
for a while, beautiful, all black, white socks
    evile: aww! cool!
evile: I guess it all depends on what you are wanting to do with 'em.
evile: The lady in MT was breeding clydesdale mares to her vanner
stallion. Made sense to me--let the bigger animal be the mommy, make
    birth easier that way.
SkyeDS: the bigger animal has to be the mommy
SkyeDS: you risk the mother otherwise
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: why it wouldn't be safe to breed a Friesian to Jesse as much
    as I would like to
    evile: yeah.
evile: that whole horse breeding thing just looks
    so...unpleasant....for all concerned.
SkyeDS: Hugh has yet to make an appearance or call.
    evile: is that unusual?
    SkyeDS: highly
SkyeDS: I need to dig up his cell phone #
evile: does he have a paper calendar where he might have written an
appointment and then not told you?
    SkyeDS: will look
evile: and then call up the troops :)
    SkyeDS: sighs, nothing
SkyeDS: traveller is gorgeous, young, cheap (relatively) and in AR.
    SkyeDS: and a stallion
SkyeDS: and he won't be but two inches taller than what I'm already
comfortable with (although I used to ride Clydes)
    evile: *nod*
evile: but he'd be bigger than either of your girls, so not good
    mating material, right?
    SkyeDS: actually, no
SkyeDS: two inches isn't enough to matter
    evile: Oh, OK.
SkyeDS: but I don't know what I"d get crossing a Vanner with a Morgan
    or an Arab
SkyeDS: although I've seen it done, looking around today
evile: *nod* And then you'd have a baby to raise...eeps.
SkyeDS: the stallion I visited died last year :(
    evile: aww. :(
    SkyeDS: http://www.fantasyfriesiansinc.com/tjimme27.htm
evile: awww. 24 is a good long life for a horse, though, isn't it?
    SkyeDS: 34 - 44 is a good long life
    evile: oh...wow. Too bad.
SkyeDS: but it does vary to some extent with breed
    evile: yeah.
    SkyeDS: very cool: http://www.fantasyfriesiansinc.com/fantasyvisit.htm
evile: that would make a nice weekend visit :)
SkyeDS: my friends at Falconwood Farm in Texarkana had a pintabian
    stallion named Rio Showtime
    evile: pretty, I bet.
SkyeDS: arab crosses are popular, the most common being quarabs,
    morabs, pintabians and arapaloosas.
    evile: *nod*
evile: I swear, I'm going to have Dr. D. put me on major drugs when I
    go see him Monday.
evile: latest fun symptom of depo withdrawal: the smell of food makes
    me ill.
SkyeDS: that, is a problem :(
evile: coworker luncheon today, lots of open items out by the coffee
pot, right next to me in the next cube.
evile: Once I start eating, I am fine, but the smell makes me feel
    very sick.
evile: If he puts me on premarin, I'll have to be sure & demand
    synthetic.
evile: I've found all these websites bout all the horrible things
depo does WHILE people are taking it, but nothing about what happens
once you quit. I was fine on depo. not fine now.
SkyeDS: the exact same thing happened to me but in reverse
SkyeDS: I'm fine on a full pill but put me on progesterone only (like
depo) and I go into horrific menopause
    evile: bizarre.
evile: I don't think Drs have even the faintest clue sometimes, what
    works or why it works...
    SkyeDS: no
SkyeDS: took me decades to convince doctors that pills helped my
    migraines, not worsened them
SkyeDS: although a good 25% of female migraine sufferers, that is the
    case
    evile: that's just so frustrating.
evile: Good news--D and Lyle got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the
first time yesterday. 5 more weeks and they'll be able to say whether
    it's a boy or girl.
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: At least the military still gives decent health care coverage
    to people.
SkyeDS: although we should be ashamed that there are military
    families on AFDC
    evile: Yeah....that sucks.
evile: people risk their lives for the country, least we can do is
pay them enough to feed their families.
SkyeDS: great, I cannot find where I put the card with his home and
    cell numbers on it
SkyeDS: and it is strange, not even a word from him
    evile: damn.
SkyeDS: one msg on the machine, he called at 9:30, machine cut him
    off, only msg
SkyeDS: that would have been minutes before I walked in the door
evile: do you think you could *69 him? or have you gotten more calls
    since then?
evile: mercury retro=technology is NOT your friend.
evile: sort of par for the course that the machine would not have
    recorded a message
SkyeDS: he just walked in <sighs relief>
    SkyeDS: took kid to doctor.
SkyeDS: figured might be kid or his dad, usually is.
    evile: good.
evile: Oh man. I bet Erin is pissed right about now: CA voids SF same
    sex marriages.
    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?
    tmpl=story&cid=514&e=1&u=/ap/20040812/ap_on_re_us/gay_marriage_calif_6
    SkyeDS: not surprised :(
evile: No. but..damn, it still sucks!
evile: I wonder what else went through today, that nobody will notice
    because of this...
    SkyeDS: voting populace = stupid
    evile: sad but true.
evile: I can't wait to go home & hide under the covers.
    SkyeDS: me neither
evile: I've just been so wiped out since last Monday. I wonder if I'm
ever going to have any energy again. Trying hard not to give it to
    pointless worry & stuff.
    SkyeDS: <hugs>
    evile: *hugs* thanks.
evile: "worry is guilt turned inside out"
    evile: both are rather pointless.
evile: it's hard to 'let go and let god'...but I have to do this.
    Best for all concerned.
evile: Erin & Pace were getting handfasted next week. I wonder i f
they're still going to do it, now that Erin & Marca aren't 'really'
    married anymore.
SkyeDS: under DOMA they weren't "really" married anyway unless they
    stayed in CA
    evile: yeah.
evile: Erin & Pace's 'post handfasting' party was one of 2 things I
was invited to on the 21st. ... not sure I'd be up for either one,
esp if the handfasting didn't happen after all.
evile: The other event is Terri A's b'day. She is not among my fave
people. I don't hate her or anything. But I'd probably feel like a
hypocrite at her party. OTOH, this would be the 3rd event at that
house I was invited to and didn't attend...
evile: first one was on 5/21, my bday weekend. 2nd one was in June,
was a baby shower/party. Now there's one that I don't have any other
plans, or major objections to the party's theme...but...enh.
evile: I should probably just follow my instincts, go hide under a
rock, and hope I still have a friend or two when I finally feel ready
    to come back out.
evile: there's stuff I "should" do [social obligation type should] ,
stuff I want to do, and stuff that is good for me. A lot of stuff
that is good for me is not anything I want to do. Sometimes it's hard
to see what's a should & a good for me, even if I dont wanna.
SkyeDS: <looks clueless but attempts to be comforting>
    evile: thanks :P
evile: there are plenty of 'should's that aren't good for me, and I'm
getting better about those. social entrapments with no benefit are
mostly out of my life... but I guess there will always be some things
I can't get out of that suck.
SkyeDS: I just sit in corners a lot
evile: sometimes it's the best possible option :)
evile: I think I really am going to go with 'under a rock' until
    Labor day.
evile: Unless Dr. D comes up with a miracle cure. :P
evile: Well, I guess I'm going to push paper around some more & then
    take off.
evile: sooooo glad tomorrow is Friday! Longest week EVAR.
    SkyeDS: HUGS
    evile: *hugs* have a good afternoon/evening :)
