"It's like she can't deal with the mess in her head, so she focuses on the mess in her home."
(it's about "John and Kate" whoever they may be. But damn, it describes my state of mind and that of at least one other person I know of pretty scarily well.)
{edit to add this:}
I don't care if you believe in astrology or not, this one is eerily accurate:

DAILY FIX
YOUREUNDERSURVEILLANCE.COM Michael Lutin's Astrological ViewOf Current Events, Politics, The World and You
23 july thursday
Once you gain a little distance from the
eclipse and the events of the pasdt two weeks
you'll get some strength back
the perspective will do you good
and maybe you'll feel less
cheated
that's right
that's what the Dragon's Tail does
It makes you furious that you've been cheated
or led astray or deprived
even if it is your own doing
which it usually is
it's so painful when you fall into that hole once again
so you need some distance and perspective
but now you know
how over attached you can get
to an idea, a project, a person--anything
when you invest so much emotion
but whata are you gonna do
that's the moon for you
now you should start recovering
from the chaos and the confusion
after making a list of all your resentments of course
this is the beginning of a new period
so if you haven't gotten the
sunmoondragon'stail message yet
if you've already got it
keep it handy
it will be
more valuable as the months go on
especially in october
We hear so much about this eclipse business
It's happening over Shanghai and southeast Asia
but what's it all about for us no matter where we live?
Is it a big deal or not?
Everybody's got a hole in their life somplace.
So why focus on the hole?
You do that long enough
and you're bounf to you feel lousy.
and then you can't get out of bed in the morning.
Q:Why should it be so hard to get out of bed in the morning?
A: You're totally cozy with someone you love
You're worried about facing the day
You're alone and miserable about it
or you are obsessed because
SOMETHING IS MISSING.......
there may be some another possibility:
such as the
solar eclipse at 29 degrees of Cancer
or the SUn, Moon Dragon's Tail conjunction
which represents
clinging to safety to avoid emptiness
which is a laugh when you think about
your life right now
and yet
it does seem hard to drag yourself
into the shower
under these eclipse conditions.
Sometimes
the world just seems much to much to cope with.
WE know that hese eclipses often bring up
your personal gripe.
So what's your beef with the Universe?

We’re all about to experience the longest Solar Eclipse in the twenty-first century, so you should know what to expect wherever the sign Cancer falls in the solar or Ascendant horoscope. It will be lots of fun to chase the rainbow there, but such pursuits can turn out way differently from your fantasies. It shows where you are ravenously hungry but can't seem to get enough to eat, physically, spiritually, intellectually, financially or emotionally. This is the conjunction of the Sun, Moon and Dragon’s Tail, or South Node.

baby steps.

Huh, that's been my complaint intermittently for 25 years. (Might have been longer, but I didn't realize the system was there in the first place until then.)
I think I'm good with systems and support right now -- and part of that is that I have several systems in place, and I'm demanding appropriate support from each one as needed, and the systems are actually delivering. (The one most likely to fail to deliver, the people dealing with me directly like me and are wanting to work with me and not have me left hanging, so I'm in a good place right now.)

Date: 2009-07-24 04:36 pm (UTC)I have heard from a number of people who have been following it as much as they can, and the biggest complaint I've heard from any of them is that they don't like the way Kate was treating Jon.
I have no idea if that helps with anyone's understanding of it here, but I thought it might, and mentioned it Just In Case.
(The people I know who have been following it have twins or triplets. Jon & Kate are the parents of twins and sextuplets. Yes, twins followed by sextuplets. That would be enough to make me go nuts right there. Drag cameras in, and then DRAMA! can only ensue, IMO. That's not the sort of voyeurism I want to engage in, personally. "Little People, Big World" seemed to be a much more respectful series, respectful of all the people involved, and I just liked the parents a hell of a lot better. Besides, who can resist watching a show that touches on medical issues that various sorts of dwarfs have to deal with?)
