SkyeDS: just spent the last 24 hours with no electricity due to an
error on the part of the electric company. sineater is going to shoot
them with a bazooka and I'm not going to stop him this time
evile: ugh. Sorry to hear about that!
SkyeDS: the taylor daily press isn't available online unfortunately
evile: oh, too bad. be sure and save clippings for your portfolio.

evile: Omega at the Crossings was nice, btw. They give free tours at
1:30 every Saturday. You have to call ahead to reserve a spot on the
tour, but it's free. Victoria said that when she took the tour, there
were only 4 other people, and after the tour the person said they
could stay and use the facilities as long as they wanted.

evile: Looks like your Saturdays are pretty much spoken for at least
thru end of Nov, but something to keep in mind.

SkyeDS: I'm bad about buying myself presents when I can afford
evile: well, the Saturday orentations are free. *shrug* It's just a
matter of finding a date when you do't have other plans. and $20 is
less than I usually spend on a meal or a pair of shoes, so I'd
consider a day pass money well spent.

evile: the salon services weren't unreasonable, either. Some really
good package deals.
SkyeDS: would be happy with hot tub and massage.
evile: Day pass is included with any salon service, I think I read.
evile: Swedish massage is $45 for 25 min, specialty massage
(balinese, hot stone, watsu, etc) is $50 for 25 min.
evile: Even adding the gratuity, $50 for a massage & all day at the
Crossings, not bad.

evile: the people in the welcome center & 'facilitating' the workshop
were a little bit stepford, but the ladies at the spa front desk were
normal and nice.

evile: I'm so bored today at work...more than usual. I wish I got to
run errands or do mor e than one thing all day long...

evile: Erinlefey & Tangentsferret are moving into their new apt. this weekend. I
guess I should check w/Sweetie and see if I can use the Trooper to help.

evile: I need to go to Fiesta sometime between now and the 13th. I am
going to work up a nasty lil' somethin-somethin

evile: I got really close to my September goal, which was at least 15
min. of exercise a day. I missed 4 days.

evile: October I'm going to see if I can work up to 15 one day, 30
the next, 15 day after, and so on.
evile: I've heard good things about something called "power 90" but
it involves supplements. ick.
SkyeDS: I'm contemplating getting thyroid checked
evile: Might be a good idea.
evile: I'm giving my system until December to straighten out and if
I'm still having wierd stuff, I'm seeing an endocrinologist.
evile: I haven't had anything as bad as the meltdown I had in July.
SkyeDS: that's good, at least
evile: Yeah. I think now i't's pretty much in the ballpark of 'normal
female fluctuations'
evile: My main concern now is this tendency I've been having since
going of depo and being sterilized, to gain around the waist. I've
never had that before.
evile: I've been weighing and measuring 1ce a month all year, and
there has been a tendency to add inches to the waist and nowhere
else. I don't like that much. I'd rather not be gaining at all, but
usually it distributes itself better than that...
SkyeDS: pills (on/off) do that
evile: then again, it could just be the mid-30 metabolism slowdown,
slide into menopause & natural non-fertile body shape of an older
woman
evile: *sigh*
evile: Oh well. this whole fertility rollrcoaster hasn't been much
fun anyway, I think I'm looking forward to my Official Crone years

SkyeDS: I don't think I'm looking forward to menopause
SkyeDS: after the severity of the menopausal symptoms I had when they
put me on POP

evile: At least there's the hope of having sympathetic & competent
medical help once you're actually deemed 'old enough' to be having
the symptoms.
evile: the plus side of less girly hormones is that you could
concievably muscle up in your old age... :P
evile: bleh. what a downer to end the day's talk on!!
evile: Um....nice full moon last night & this a.m. That's a nice
thing to think about :)
evile: & 1 day closer to the weekend.
evile: Anyhoo, gotta toss papers & get my arthritic ass on home. I am
thinking workout, nyquil & pass out sounds like a good plan for the
