the way the world should be. Women will never rule the world as long
as we are stabbing each ohter in the back, ditching each other for
men, and otherwise mistreating one another for the sake of getting a
little piece of sausage.
Oh, yes, yet again, I've been ditched, betrayed, fucked over, all for
the sake of a girlfriend gettin' a man.
It's no wonder I don't have many female friends--can't trust 'em to
be relied on for anything. Wave a weenie in their face and suddenly
they are no longer there for their girlfriends.
FEH.

I am SO GLAD IT IS FRIDAY!
Give me snaps for not going shopping last night, when I can ill
afford to do so. Anna's Linens is having a massive sale; they had
certain comforter sets for 39.99. I liked them, though they weren't
exactly what I wanted. I thought of getting a set anyway, just to
have something new for my bed. BUT, I decided against it, and am
holding off until I have more money and can get exactly what I want.
Your "that girl" experience SUCKS. That is so totally uncool. If I
had longstanding plans (that involved the purchase of tickets, no
less) with a gf, I would not ditch her on the basis of some last
minute boyfriendly impulse. That is just crap. And the "kidnap"
thing is bullshit - she could have said no, she had plans already,
and he would just have to get stuffed.
I do, however, have to admit my own guilt in this. I was supposed to
meet with Jen E. and a whole bunch of other people for dinner or
something after I got back from NYC, but I begged off to be with
Shane. I could go on and on about distinguishing and justifying my
situation from the usual girlfriend ditching, but whatever - it all
boils down to the fact that I wanted to see him and didn't want to
see them.
It's sad re: the implications for you, but a girl wouldn't (or
shouldn't) ditch her real, true, good, best girlfriends for a man; I
wouldn't ditch you or Dawn, for example. But the B-listers (or in
the case of Jen E., Z-listers), I might.
This girl is obviously not worthy of serious, real friendship, if you
can't rely on her to show up and honor the plans that you made. BUT,
I am glad you went anyway and had a good time.
I like Sisters before Misters, by the way. :)
My morning is insane. I will be glad to go home and relax. I spent
most of the evening moving furniture around. :( But I did get a lot
of stuff organized, and I slept really well (tired myself out, huh.)
LOVE YOU!!
