evile: oh, hey! How was your weekend?
SkyeDS: we had a good time despite many setbacks
SkyeDS: engine trouble, getting lost, ticket for something I didn't
do on t he way home
SkyeDS: that makes two undeserved tickets and twice I've been hit, in
seven days.
evile: weather was super for being outside & camping.
SkyeDS: but the boys kicked ass.
SkyeDS: and we got our first pics of the girls in their new barding,
in front of a stone castle, very cool
evile: good for them!
evile: can't wait to see photos :)
SkyeDS: will definitely have time to upload them this weekend, and
put up fence too, since Morconor is cancelled. Matter of fact, can
do work day Saturday and then go to Drandmir Sunday
evile: *nod* sounds like a good plan to me.
evile: I am hoping they put up pictures from Extravagasm II
somewhere...the photographer got a great photo of e. & our new
friend Brian.

evile: I wasn't nearly interesting or pretty enough to get asked for
a photo :( Oh well.
SkyeDS: I don't like having my picture taken.
evile: They didn't ask Rio for her picture, either, and she looked
great, so maybe I won't take it personally.
evile: I don't really, either, but I wanted my makeup job to be
better documented than it was.

evile: Our new friend is an artist, so maybe I can talk him into
getting some real photos done.
SkyeDS: every once in a while I wonder if glamour shots are worth it
evile: [Aunt L] got all excited about that a few years ago and managed to
rope [sister H] into going. The pictures were not at all '[sister H]' but they
were gorgeous.
SkyeDS: lots of shinies and pretties :)
evile: My thought on me getting glamor shots is that you can't make a
silk purse out of a sow's ear--I'm fat and pictures add 10 pounds, so
nothing to be done about that.

evile: Yeah. I had fun shopping.
evile: the turquoise-colored bindi-thingys over my eyebrows didn't
come out at all in the photo, but were striking in RL
SkyeDS: I haven't had a chance to wear the pretty new bindis I got
with my salwar kameez sets
SkyeDS: I find that they don't like sweat (so no riding them while
I"m wearing, and p ointless under a khafiya anyway)
SkyeDS: um
SkyeDS: that should be wearing them while I"m riding
evile: heh. I got it.
evile: I got some really excellent spirit gum at the Bazaar that kept
mine on all night.
SkyeDS: it's a good thing I took the khafiya off for the drive home
evile: I swear by Ben Nye *anything*--I set my eye makeup with Ben
Nye transparent powder at 8 p.m.and it was still flawless at 3 a.m.
SkyeDS: I had the misfortune to meet my first rude state trooper, who
obviously was gunning for the way I was dressed, and if I had had the
bedouin headdress on....
evile: That sucks.
evile: there was a fatal stabbing at TRF this weekend, btw. Uranus-
Pluto are hangin out right now, I think.
evile: or maybe it's Mars & Pluto. Something bad.
SkyeDS: nods. probably for the last week or so.
evile: 'hide under the bed' kinda bad.
evile: I had a friend who was scheduled for a surgical abortion on
Friday, who miscarried Thursday afternoon & spent the weekend all
icked out from that. :(
SkyeDS: definitely something contagious in the air.

evile: Hopefully we're done with bad stuff for awhile.
SkyeDS: I hope so
SkyeDS: damage to two places on my truck that I can't pursue having
fixed because it will damage my insurance rating even though it
wasn't my fault
SkyeDS: and two tickets I have to set for court (one 200 miles from
home)
evile: yuck.
SkyeDS: miscarriages and stabbings - even worse
evile: Pretty ick.
SkyeDS: really do like that maya angelou that onyxlynxx posted.

evile: They are installing new printers at work, didn't tell
anyone...eventually we figured out on our own "hey, don't print!".
ugh.

doing, other than getting in my way. Oh, I can't do half my job
because of their work? Okay thanks for letting me know.

evile: I really don't think much of anything done or said around an
infant makes much impact, barring polluttion or poor nutrition,

anyway when they feel old enough
