My coffin quilt that my mom made for me.
3. What is the oldest thing in your possession? (all)
A steamer trunk from the turn of the century. I got it at an estate
sale for $15 & it was in perfect condition, and then when it was in
my parents' garage in college some bastard broke the lock.
4. How much time do you spend in the average day Grooming yourself?
(shower, hairbrushing, makeup, dressing, peering in mirror to check
appearance, etc) (all)

5. Have you ever had a song that reminded you of or you otherwise
associated with a particular person? (love song, breakup song, best
friend song, etc) If so, what song and why? (all)
"December" is 'our song' for me & my Sweetie. "Welcome to the Jungle"
is Mike's song, "Add it Up" reminds me of Kelly, a crazy boy in
HS, "There is a Light that Never Goes out" and "Fast Car" are
Dee's, "Stand and Deliver" is 'our song' for the Punk Flock,
um....there are lots.
6. Do you have any identifying marks or objects on your backpack,
purse, wallet, car, (or whatever your primary travelling stuff holder
is)..? If so, what are they and do they have any sentimental meaning
to you? (all)
Nope. I'm generic looking.
7. Are you wearing any jewelry right now? If so, What? (all)
7 Earrings. 2 are silver celtic knot charms & czech glass that I
made, 2 are James Avery silver forget-me-nots, and the other 3 are
plain silver studs.
8. Describe your bed and bedding ( ex: pillows, blankets, the teddy
bear you've had since you were 3) (all)
feather pillow with yellow satin pillowcase, my 'greenie', a green
fleece blanket, plum sheets, and a multicolored quilt (storebought)
over it all.
9. Have you ever kept a Book-type diary/journal( in otherwords, not
online and not read by anyone other than yourself to your knowledge)
which you wrote in at least once a fortnight for a consecutive period
of no less than 6 months? (all)
I've kept a written journal since I was 14. It has been paper since
last year sometime. Now I have 'erikajournal' on yahoo, and this
thing, and my paper journal is now a scrapbook of pretty pictures &
ticket stubs & such.
10. What fictional world would you most like to live in, and/Or what
fictional character's life would you like your life to mirror? (all)
I used to want to live in Pern until I realized it was a sexist,
classist, etc. mess. I used to want to be Anne of Green Gables. Now
I'm thinking I might want to live in the DUNE universe,even though
it's sexist & classist, too. I think I'd be a good Bene Gesserit.
11. Do you know which side of the looking glass you're on? (all)
Oh, it depends. Varies from day to day.
12. Do you have long fingernails? Are they real? Are they all about
the same length? are they painted? Do you use a nail file with any
frequency? tell me all about it. (all)
Not right now. They grow to a nice length and then one breaks so I
cut the rest off. We are midway through that cycle right now. I still
have polish on them from when I tried on nail polish at Sephora last
weekend with my girlfriends. I have to use a file on any uneven nail
or I'll bite them all off.
13. Do you prefer to live in a urban or rural area? (all)
Urban. More options. I can always go camping or take a road trip to a
small town or something if I feel like being out in the weeds.
14. What song are you listening to right now? If you arn't listening
to something now, what's the last song you remember hearing? (all)
Dead Kennedys, California Uber Alles.
