Happy Birthday To Me!

evile Busy day so far: got up at the normal time, walked dogs, took Thax's car to the shop, went and did early voting, got early lunch at Chuy's (first time in an indoor sit down restaurant since 2020....felt weird and also I'm not sure I have table manners anymore) Back home, picked up Thax's car at the shop, opened presents & now Thax is taking a quick nap before we go out into the world again--he works too hard and gets up too early on work days, so I'm glad today is a catch up day for rest.
I have a kind of big list of things I want to get done over the weekend but most of it isn't crucial to get done today. Early voting was, though. We're going over to Aunt Lynn and Uncle Bob's later for cake & coffee, and then another dog walk. It's been a good day. Nothing earth shattering but just nice home and family time. 52!! That used to sound super old. Now....well, it still sounds super old, but I don't feel super old.
