evile: the worst thing about having nothing to do at work means that
everyone has to TALK. Loudly. About stupid stuff. *argh*
Kahlua: Oh yeah.
Kahlua: My office was the opposite this AM. I walked in, and NO ONE
WAS TALKING. I couldn't hear anyone when I was walking in, alittle
freaky
evile: yeah...that would be creepy.
evile: I'm glad I'm taking Friday and next Monday off.
Kahlua: That would be nice. *sigh*
evile: I ended up making a dr. appt Friday and I'm taking Max
(Peglegasus) to the dentist Monday. So it all works out. Even though
I'm not going to do any big traveling, my days off will be useful.
Still no plans for the 28th-31st.
evile: I'm sure something will present itself between now and then,
it always does.
Kahlua: Hee hee
Kahlua: Things always come up, eh?
evile: *grinz* fortunately, or unfortunately, yes they do.
evile: The world is entirely too full of temptation.
Kahlua: No kidding.
Kahlua: Just walking around the grocery store is bad
Kahlua: Let alone going out for a drink
evile: heehee. Yup :)
evile: I wonder if any of the cuties at Town Lake realized what I was
thinking...that's almost the worst thing. I can usually figure out
when people are looking at me and thinking nasty thoughts.
Kahlua: Giggle
Kahlua: That's easy.
Kahlua: Guys are ALWAYS looking at hot women, and ALWAYS thinking
nasty thoughts about them
Kahlua: 98% of the time, anyway
evile: Okay. Well, then...there are some people whose thoughts
are 'louder' than others, I guess. There's a difference between
someone looking at you in a nice way and the ones giving you creepy
eyes
Kahlua: Oh yes
evile: It's nice to be appreciated, mostly. I would hate to think I
was violating anyone with my eyes :P
Kahlua: Yeah. I try not to be too obvious about it, I know some
women don't like it.
Kahlua: But damn, if the woman's fine, the woman's FINE.
evile: *smiles* yeah.
Kahlua: It's hard, you know. I always want to TELL women how
attractive they are, just to tell them, but I always figure up I'll
end up in jail or something.
Kahlua: Hard to do out of "approved" venues like ren faires, SCA
events, and poly parties.
evile: *nod*
Kahlua: It's so hard to be chivalrous or complimentary these days
Kahlua: Without being accused of something.
evile: I know. that SUCKS. I'd rather have someone say something than
just look at me with their beady little eyes :P
Kahlua: Yeah. I mean, I firmly believe that most people who are
pretty are pretty because they WANT to be pretty, and they WANT to be
pretty because they like, on some level, being appreciated. I also
think some people refuse to admit that to themselves.
Kahlua: And I mean, come on, if you want to be admired, LET PEOPLE
ADMIRE YOU without getting upset!
evile: Yeah...OTOH, there are compliments that you can take just fine
from a friend and would feel very wierd about a stranger saying them.
Kahlua: Well, yeah. I'm not looking to go into any specific details
about body parts, that's a little "familiar" for someone I don't know.
Kahlua: But, you know, being able to say, "Hi. I just wanted to tell
you that I think you're a very pretty woman. Have a nice day!"
should be allowed, damnit!
evile: absolutely :)
Kahlua: At least someone agrees. *sigh*
evile: Too many people operating from fear, it sucks.
Kahlua: Minor flirting should be a no-fault operation
evile: yup. In certain places, it is. But mostly, not.
Kahlua: TIm's a nice outlet for it, but it doesn't compare to RL
flirting. :P
evile: nope. :)
evile: Mack is not a big flirt, but the good thing is that he doesn't
really seem to mind that I am.
Kahlua: *nod*
Kahlua: He knows he's got a good thing. :)
evile: *blush* Aww ;)

4 (my SIL)

evile: I try to stay on speaking terms, but within limits.
Kahlua: Hee hee
Kahlua: Yeah
evile: she's dieting now, which is tedious.
Kahlua: You get to hear ALLLL about it?
evile: yup.
evile: she seems to think that the more challenging, complicated and
hard-to-get her diet is, the better it will be.
Kahlua: Uh
Kahlua: Hmm
Kahlua: Lemme thinkNO.
evile: but i guess that makes sense in some twisted way...that way if
she fails, it's because she wasn't able to obtain the rare Tibetan
Yak Cabbage she needed
Kahlua: Hmm, plausible deniability. very clever
evile: VERY.

Anyhoo..I'm still on TIM, but gone from here.
