I am currently missing gals' night over at onyxlynxx's place. *sigh*
I woke up dreaming about watching the State Capitol explode from my
window at work. There were dozens of aircraft in the sky, and people
dressed as Paul Revere type military running around on the ground,
coming out of helicopters, etc. Nobody knew if they were US or THEM.
One of them died in a blaze of yellow-green lightning. I was upset
because a friend of my father made the large shields around the top
of the Capitol dome, and I knew that for whatever reasons, she'd
never be able to duplicate the ones that had been destroyed.
Then Sweetie and I got up and we went to see our accountant. We both
get $ back, yay. Mine isn't a lot, but it's still OK. Better than
owing, anyway.
My mom has been in town for a few days, taking a break in between
looking after my stepdad's mom in Houston and the birth of my
brother's woman(The Rubber Pig)'s child, which is apparently quite
imminent.
My aunt picked me up from meeting the accountant, and told me we
weren't doing anything active today because my mom was sick. We went
back to her house, she made us grilled cheese sandwiches, then we
went & saw a movie, and then just sat around at my aunt & uncle's
house, talking, reading the paper, etc.
Then, about 4:30 or so, Mom let it be known that she hadn't wanted to
just sit around all day, she had actually been up for shopping and
running the roads. I had assumed that my aunt picked me up by herself
because my mom wasn't feeling well and had TOLD her she didn't want
to go out and do anythng. bla bla, no communication, lots of
assumptions, nobody did anything they wanted to do, the beautiful day
was wasted, woe and misery and bla bla.
Shortly thereafter, The Rubber Pig calls and tells us that her Dr.
wants to induce her on Friday, but she doesn't want to wait until
Friday, so she's taking Black Cohosh to make herself go into labor.
yay.
Anyway, Sweetie came over, auntie fed us supper, and now I'm home and
just kind of wrung out from all the stupid misunderstanding and
fearing for the life of my soon to be neice/nephew (assuming my
brother is the father) and just...not really up for being anywhere
but home. Even though I'm sure it would do me good. But..blah. Not
good for others to be around me when I'm like this.
