  Yesterday was fun. I'm tired today. No major drama, no temper
  tantrums, no lost stuff, no sunburn. Just a nice day out at Fiesta TX
  with the As. It was fun. I didn't even spend as much $ as I was
  expecting/dreading. Yay.
  
  I am tiiiireeed. But I'll live.
  
  Jen left a message on my machine Friday--she didn't get the job at
  MoFo. :(
  
  I'm reading 1984, very depressing. In some ways a bit prophetic, but
  in some ways, not. Rather than 1 government controlling all the info,
  we have a flood of info, most of which makes no sense, contradicts
  other info, or otherwise becomes discount-able very quickly. Rather
  than not enough food & not enough consumer goods, there is too much,
  a glut, so that people spend a majority of their time $ acquiring
  things. Schools are for indoctrinating kids & making them pass tests
  that have no objective meaning outside the school system.
  Intellectuals & intellectualism are subject to derision and/or
  mistrust.
  
  War is Peace
  Freedom is Slavery
  Ignorance is Strength
  
  Speaking of glut, they feed that C way too much. They
  got him a mega kid meal AND a hamburger. He doesn't need that much
  food. Poor kid.
  
  Anyhoo...I'm tired today. Probably should have taken the day off.
