The stuff you own ends up owning you. Not just the stuff you own, but
the stuff you want. Wanting is what ruins a normal happy life. If we
didn't want anything, we could just sleep and dream all day. *sigh*
so anyway...I ordered stuff. Found some Obsession body lotion and
Mom's always looking for lotion and powder in tht scent. So I ordered
that, and then some stuff for my hands & cuticles & some lavender
bath gel & natural deodorant. Good summer scent. Fresh & clean
smelling. Hope the deodorant works, but not holding my breath. Elena
said she was using natural deodorant these days, so I guess Im
following her lead. Lavender also reminds me of being younger--it's
all I wore the summer of 1997. :) Wrote a check for that. About $40.
Good deal on the Obsession.
Then got some tops from Sunbelt and some pants & skirts from
220Hickory. Also some walking/tennis shoes from 220Hickory. $115 at
Sunbelt and $125 at 220H., both charged to m MC. I guess I shouldn't
assume that my 15 grand loan will go thru & be spending money like
that. *sigh* But it's been a while since I stocked up on wardrobe
basics, it was probably time to do that again. Hope I don't get any
fatter, I am at the top of the 'normal' sizes. Bleh.
I do need some more work clothes though. My tops are getting all
ratty and my shoes are all kind of suckin'.

I took a nap on my desk. I don't know why I was so tired. I had 2
cups of Yogi tea and 2 cups of coffee this morning. That should have
had me up and running. Ah well. It was a good nap. Half an hour of
drooling on my sleeve. I think I dreamt, even. Woke up singing "I was
flannel/when flannel wasn't cool" which is from some Asylum St.
Spankers song that I don't even really like. Ah well. Then I started
wanting to hear Camper Van Beethoven or Cracker. sigh.

When I attended the coldest Indy 500 in history with a nasty man who
just wanted to get me drunk and get into my pants & was very obvious
