    Sineater: hey turkey-butt :P
    evile: hey :)
    evile: how's everything going?
Sineater: stable. we stay out of each other's way for the most part
evile: Ok. Thats' sad, but if that's what works..OK.
Sineater: we're talking pretty well. working on being friends
    evile: *nod*
Sineater: had to go to court today. but, ticket got dismissed. :)
    evile: good!
Sineater: she got a ticket back in october. were pulling out of a gas
station, stopped at a light, then right after the light changes, a
motorpig pulls us over and says she was doing 55 in a 35 zone.
needless to say it was bullshit... he even put the wrong address on
    the ticket
    evile: that's ridiculous!
Sineater: well, they dismissed it. she asked for a trial, they can
only do one jury trial a day, there were at least 2 other jury cases
up... also not sure the cop ever showed
    Sineater: it was bozolicious.
    evile: jeez!
    Sineater: city of austin...
    evile: figures.
Sineater: skye_ds's parents are showing up sometime tomorrow, and
sunday we are all going out to georgetown
    evile: sounds like fun.
Sineater: skye_ds's dad is bringing a damn boat, and wants to know
    where he can find bait...
evile: if your pond is stocked, I'd be pleasantly surprised.
    Sineater: arrgh! my brain!
Sineater: no, it's pretty decent. the traffic died off a while back.
there's 2-3 people who have permission to come out, but haven't seen
    them in a while
    evile: *nod*
Sineater: and the fences and signs seem to kinda discourage the odd
    drop-in, wonder why
    evile: I"m glad.
Sineater: i am too. i don't like people i don't know or are just
driving by on the highway stopping in to fish.
    evile: I wouldn't blame you!
    Sineater: how are you doing?
    evile: pretty low energy.
Sineater: :( not surprised. not been a good week
    Sineater: and allergies :(
    evile: and icky weather.
    Sineater: any word from SA?
    evile: nope.
    Sineater: ...good?
    evile: *shrug* good for me.
evile: L&B were planning on visiting either today or
    tomorrow.
    Sineater: oh god.
    Sineater: :-X
evile: eh, it's their choice. I am sure it's more to support Mom and
[brother A] than to worship at the crib
Sineater: it sounds like walking int odowntown beirut
evile: this is one of those situations where I hate being right. hate
    it alot.
    Sineater: ?
Sineater: thought there was no news?
evile: the second I met rubber_pig I hated her, I knew she was awful, and
I knew that everything would turn to shit, and lo and behold, it has
all come to pass as I predicted.
Sineater: and you never did get her that plush facehugger either :(
evile: I am not getting her jack shit.
Sineater: how about a real facehugger?
evile: then we have the alien queen version of rubber_pig, no thanks.
    Sineater: ... eww.
evile: gotta think these things through..
evile: she's already bred 4 times, do you really want to give her the
capabiility of squeezing out thousands of slimy eggs?
Sineater: well we could always shoot her out into space or something

    evile: that could work.
evile: Did I tell you my mammogram plan? I go for my first one this
year. If the news is good, fine. if the news is bad, I m going on a
killing spree. Everyone can just give me their lists and I'll work my
way through them until the cops get me
Sineater: well what if it's a singing mammogram?
    evile: Oh :P~~~
evile: I'll definitely go on a killing spree if it's a singing
    mammogram.
    Sineater: good idea.
evile: that's just my way of whistling in the dark...not looking
forward to it, this way it turns into a win-win and something I can
    be humorous about
evile: Oh well. It's 4, time to blow this pop stand.
evile: *hugs* hang in there, 'kay?

    evile: tgif!
    SkyeDS: amen sister :)
evile: any plans for the weekend?
SkyeDS: I'm ordering delivery lunch for the first time in more than a
    year that I've worked here
    SkyeDS: I'm so lazy
SkyeDS: I need to clean house, parentals coming tomorrow
evile: we ordered chinese a couple days ago. Sometimes it's fun.
SkyeDS: but if it isn't raining, I'm going to take the horses
downtown to market day and sightsee
    evile: cool.
SkyeDS: and then they promised they'd go to eat bbq in georgetown w/
    me sunday
SkyeDS: daddy bought a 12 foot boat to paddle around the pond in
    evile: the horses?
SkyeDS: I have been instructed to find him a bait shop
SkyeDS: market day = bunch of booths set up right on the highway
SkyeDS: riding from booth to booth = fun, and chance to hand out cards
evile: sounds like fun. I've been meaning to go to teh farmers
markets around here for years, so I'm going tomorrow.
SkyeDS: and if I get the urge to spend money
SkyeDS: It will have to be something I want enough to come back for
after I load the horses back up to head home
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: not many big dollar items I can carry on horseback
evile: jewelry is pretty portable :P
    SkyeDS: B-P
evile: sounds like a fun weekend. hope the weather is nice.
SkyeDS: not counting on it lol
evile: well, hope is free, so I'll indulge .
evile: I think Aunt L said she and Uncle B were going to San Antonio either
    Today or tomorrow.
SkyeDS: I wish them safe journey.
evile: I definitely have enough possibilities to truthfully say "oh,
I've got plans" if they try to drag me along.
evile: Last night, I dreamt that mom had 2 change of life babies and
I got stuck taking care of one of them. Doesn't take a PhD to tell me
    what THAT meant.
    SkyeDS: nodnod
evile: I woke up pissed off. yuck.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: And, even though there's a lot going on this weekend, I just
really don't feel like doing any of it.
    SkyeDS: why should you
evile: I wonder if Seamus McStinkypants is going to show up anywhere
    this weekned....
    SkyeDS: lol
evile: Now that I think on it, I think he was giving everyone a fake
name. The way he said it seemed fake.
evile: Ladydreamtime didn't seem offended by his questions. I wonder if I was
    just overreacting....
evile: Now I feel stupider than ever over the whole thing.
evile: I am feeling like I don't deserve to go anywhere or do anyhing
or be with anyone, since I'm such a stupid spaz about every goddamned
    thing.
evile: And when I get to feeling like that, it's really *not* a good
idea to stay home alone and punch holes in myself
    SkyeDS: :(
    SkyeDS: <hugs>
evile: oh well. I deserve it.
    SkyeDS: no, you don't.
evile: I cant' decide what's worse--staying at home and inflicting
myself on me, or going out and inflicting myself on people I like.
SkyeDS: don't know how to answer that
SkyeDS: but on weekends I am firm believer of doing whatever you damn
well feel like at the time (especially if it's raining)
evile: my free time is very important, and I don't have enough of it
    to waste on stupidity.
SkyeDS: punching holes in yourself = stupid.
evile: doing stupid things is stupid
    SkyeDS: lol
evile: I made a giant stupid fuss over something so not worth it, and
then fuckin' did it again about something else.
SkyeDS: you did not kill, maim nor even hurt anybody's feelings, so
    what harm was really done
evile: I just made myself look dumb, really. I should just resign
myself to it and move on, I guess.
SkyeDS: I bet nobody even remembers it as you looking dumb but you
SkyeDS: your friends don't seem to be that way
evile: I'll just make myself look worse if I don't show up to stuff
    now, I guess.
SkyeDS: go if you feel up to it, and not if you don't
SkyeDS: just be honest with yourself about whatever your reasons are
    for either
    evile: *nod* good plan. thanks.
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: You don't read the austin poly LJ community do you?
    SkyeDS: no.
SkyeDS: I will if you tell me there's something interesting
evile: brandyeileen posted a 'pail and shovel' there last night.
    SkyeDS: what is that...
evile: "im taking my pail and shovel and leaving the sandbox--
nyah!"// "I'm taking my toys and leaving!"
    evile: It's basically drama-mongering.
SkyeDS: true to form sounds to me
evile: yup. Apparently she can't read that LJ community anymore
because SOMEONE (who isn't even really poly) has been giving her a
    big hard time about something.
evile: "I'm going to have to stop reading this, and other
communities, now. In an effort to get as far away as possible from
certain people and drama, I am cutting lots of stuff out of my life.
I'm just mostly disgusted that I have to leave this group, over
someone who is most definitely NOT poly, but whatever. Those of you
who know and care about me will understand, those of you who either
don't know or don't care, sorry you had to read this. I'm not going
to disable comments, though I am tempted to, and I am not trying to
start up drama, I'm trying to get away from it and it keeps following
me. Some would say that I'm less of a person for repeatedly running
as far away as possible, but those people didn't have their heart
shredded, life screwed, and then have to listen to people repeat what
others are saying about them. I'm done. "
SkyeDS: reminds me of Kim stomping off at the park (a weekly
    occurrence)
evile: I'm looking thru the yahoo group, other people's LJ's, etc,
and I am just not finding this person telling everyone ugly things
    about brandyeileen.
evile: I'm sort of tempted to ask "who are you, anyway?" but I will
ignore her...that is pretty much the worst thing you can do to a
    drama whore.
SkyeDS: silly me, when people stomp off, I assume they mean what they
say, and I leave them alone
SkyeDS: (I know most people don't really want that, but hey)
evile: yeah..."don't let the door hit your ass on the way out..."
evile: so far she's only gotten one reply...that makes me kind of
    happy.
evile: since she's only been to one poly dinner, ever, that I know
of, I'm sure most people are like "who??"
SkyeDS: I really don't understand the need for drama personally
SkyeDS: I spend all my time trying to minimalize the crises in my life
evile: life is shitty enough without making more shit and then
    wallowing in it.
    SkyeDS: amen
evile: Oh well. It'll be interesting if I run into her anywhere this
    weekend.
SkyeDS: maybe I'm better off blissfully unaware of some of these
    people
SkyeDS: (eg if I were to run into them face to face)
    evile: probably.
evile: Onyxlynxx told me she's run into brandyeileen at other social
gatherings and at some she was actually pleasant.
SkyeDS: they wouldn't like me anyway, as I tend to gather a lot of
attention when we're out, mostly because I'm always attending to the
    zoo
    evile: *nod*
evile: There can only be one queen bee in the hive & all of that.
SkyeDS: I have no need to hog the white hot spotlight for myself.
evile: but someone who needs the spotlight would be resentful of the
attention you get just by being you
    SkyeDS: entirely true
SkyeDS: and I have many many resources with which to grab said
spotlight any time I wanted it
SkyeDS: I am assuming drama whores don't, and that's why they are
    drama whores
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: although, the kind of spotlight I enjoy consists of two
    things:
SkyeDS: making music with a group rather than by myself
SkyeDS: and taking my children to play with two legged children
SkyeDS: I don't know that either involves me in the spotlight by
    myself
    evile: *nod*
evile: One of the things I really like about the Monday gatherings is
that we all take turns with the spotlight. Everyone gets to be the
center of attention for a bit.
SkyeDS: I think it's way cool that Jinx is going to melting pot
    with yall
SkyeDS: wish I could go, but no $
SkyeDS: matter of fact, I can pretty much say I do NOT like being the
    center of attention by myself
evile: I think we'll have a great time. Nikiyoy's expressed curiousity
about HFS, so that's a topic of conversation, Onyxlynxx & maggiemaepisces have done a
    lot of RPG
SkyeDS: solos = terrible stage fright
    evile: *nod* I bet.
evile: Sharjinka's travels & archaeology work are fascinating. So I
hope that we can all find things in common and make sure Sharjinka
won't feel left out since she just knows me.
SkyeDS: her digs are cool and the classes she takes are cool too
evile: I think it's very brave of her to join a group of strange
women to break bread together...I think she agrees with us in the
opinion that women are sometimes pretty nasty characters.
evile: I like playing 'hostess' in that it's a way to be in and out
of the spotlight at the same time.
SkyeDS: you're good at it, a talent I don't have, and which I admire
    evile: thank you :)
    SkyeDS: yvw :)
SkyeDS: I gave Sharjinka drive by hugs today because I thought she might
    need them
SkyeDS: she loves HFS and just about everybody in it, and certainly
everybody in Drandmir, and they ought to know that and remember it.
evile: Yeah, I guess the stupid sash thing has really got people bent
    out of shape.
SkyeDS: I have to admit, I knew all hell would break loose last
weekend, and I said hi to Goofy and Joe who weren't playing at the
itme we got there, and we left headed for Duke's
SkyeDS: so I wasn't there when things blew up
    evile: *nod* good plan.
SkyeDS: I didn't remember seeing Jinx or her car, or I would have
    hung around
evile: I haven't been to any of the boards lately, I just don't need
any of that fussing in my life
SkyeDS: I needed Randy's farrier friend's phone number so I called
    Karen to ask for it
SkyeDS: who wanted to know where we'd been because I haven't been to
    practice in months
    evile: aw.
SkyeDS: and I told her quite honestly that we've been holed up in our
fort shooting one bug after another
SkyeDS: I tend to hole up in crises because I do not like to share
    drama
    evile: *nodnod* I totally understand.
SkyeDS: sineater made a good point too though
SkyeDS: no matter how bad my day has been, taking the horses to t he
park almost always cheers me up
evile: *nod* getting outdoors is very healing.
    evile: being with animals, too.
SkyeDS: rain for six weeks is just depressing
evile: yes it really has been a downer.
SkyeDS: but the bluebonnets are already up along the highway and very
    pretty
    evile: I noticed that.
evile: we're supposed to have one last freeze next Tues.
    SkyeDS: sighs, figures
evile: I think I may try to butterfly tonight. That'll make me feel
better, or at least distract me thoroughly.
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: open house at HPC, TGIB, bellydance, Jaime, and punks in
kilts. Or at least do waht I can before I get tired and grouchy
    SkyeDS: good idea
evile: Saturday, definitely the farmers market, maybe Poly 101, bag
    the rest.
evile: Sunday dim sum and kites, assuming the weather is good enough
    for kites.
SkyeDS: I have not found another ds restaurant I like (I haven't been
looking really), I miss the one that went out of business :|
evile: Sweetie and I have a couple. One we need to try, still. Maybe
    we'll go there.
SkyeDS: I like shrimp and cilantro bonnets, taro root dumplings,
shumai, pork buns, and sweet buns with custard
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: if you find someplace to recommend please let me know
    evile: we dig curried squid
SkyeDS: is that like calamari in curry? that sounds good
    evile: not fried, but yeah.
evile: T&S on North Lamar is good. Very busy but worth the parking
    lot hassle, etc.
    SkyeDS: I've heard that
SkyeDS: that chefs like to go there
    SkyeDS: salt & pepper shrimp
    evile: *nod*
evile: there was a chinese buffet on 183, right across from the half
price books, and it's become a dim sum place. We haven't tried it yet.
    SkyeDS: I didn't know T/S did dimsum
    evile: weekends only I think.
SkyeDS: that place I loved so well was only weekends too
    evile: *nod*
    SkyeDS: time to go home?
    evile: yup.

evile: Have a good weekend, enjoy your folks' visit :)
