Wish I'd saved the text before I deleted it. apparently she sent a
text msg to my cell phone, something about how she doesn't need any
money, she just wants to talk.
Deleted that fucker. Will NOT be used or manipulated by her ever
again.
Bed. Made. Lie.
I almost hate to be like this, because bronxelf wrote something in
her LJ very similar, but when I'm done, I'm DONE.

Well, it's great to be appreciated & to know that you
don't have to make any decisions *now*. You can make
the transition on _your_ terms, to a job you really

You have a place where you are, from what I can tell
it's pretty much as long as you wanna stay there. No
rush. Unfo, there will always be asshats, in any job.
At least perhaps Howard recognizes he's hard to work
with & tried to make up (even if it was for selfish
reasons).
Got a text msg on my cell from X. I'd had it
recharging all morning, so I have no idea when it came
in. I wish I'd copied it out before I deleted it. It
was something like 'Please, I don't need money, I just
need to talk to you'. or some crap like that. Puhleez.
I'm DONE. (ANNNNd that shit costs me 50 cents a pop,
yo. For fucks sake.)
I will have to check out some Madeira sometime soon.
Another expensive taste to cultivate--Just what I
need!

XO!

Yeah - I can't keep telling myself, "this is just like BBM," because
it isn't, and that kind of thinking just makes me feel a desperation
that isn't really warranted. I've got plenty of time.
Thanks for helping me keep my perspective. I really need that.
X is so manipulative. Why send a whiny text message? She could
call, after all, if she was really into some kind of interaction.
This is just a shout out from the ether so she can sit back and
entertain herself with thoughts of you worrying, feeling guilty and
debating with yourself. As if!
Madeira rules. My half-bottle (Broadbent "Rainwater") was only 9
bucks. But - obviously, these things tend to vary quite a bit.
Better bust a move on that resume.

You are so right re: X. If she messages me again,
I'm calling customer service and seeing about getting
her blocked. (great idea for nasty revenge against
someone you hate though--text message them into the
poorhouse!)
J-Law's reply:
Yeah, X is doing a really crappy thing - it's like she's
contacting you in the way that requires the least effort, risk and
need for interaction on her part as possible. Expecting you to do all
the dirty work. Forget it, man.
