I dreamt about Dave Wolf last night--I went to skate night and he was
there & we got into this big talk about what he'd been up to, why he
was in Austin now, etc. And then we were going to go somewhere and
fool around, only since I have a Sweetie and all, I said we couldn't
    actually do 'it'.
    --------------------------------
good quote from c--t. Other than this quote, I can't say I cared much
for the book. Esp. the part about how hormonal birth control is so
evil (because you don't menstruate properly or some crap) & clinical
abortions are so terrible & you should either masturbate or make love
only with your female friends. what-ever.

Reproductive freedom is #1 for women. Without that, most women don't
have the freedom to educate themselves, earn their own money, travel,
    or anything else. Women should know that 1) reproduction is a choice;
both WHEN and WHETHER to concieve & bear children is totally within
our control (at least currently in this country, but for how long?).
Women with children make different choices, perhaps, than women
without. Perhaps childless women are more willing to participate in
subversive activities that could get them arrested. Maybe they travel
and don't have a permanent residence, maybe they stay in school for
more of their lives, maybe they choose careers that are not
particularly lucrative but are very interesting, since they don't
have children to support. It's a great blessing to be able to direct
your own fertility. Anybody who can say with a straight face that
hormonal birth control is some evil tool of the patriarchy just needs
some serious bitch-slappage. And maybe a trip back in time to when
women were basically used as breeding beasts of burden, worked hard &
impregnated repeatedly until their bodies gave out.

"It is nice to get in the habit of consciously stopping yourself from
wishing ill-tidings to a woman, and ask, 'What of myself do I see
here?' When you can honestly respond to that question without
perpetuating self-judgement or nastiness, you is a c--tlover on
    high.
