518 scary quote

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip
the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a
double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it
narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever
pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the
leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry.
Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by
patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and
gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am
    Caesar." -Julius Caesar

      Taurus
      Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Don't get upset if people aren't taking you quite as seriously as you
might like right now, dear Taurus. It is in the nature of the day to
keep things light and uplifting. Come out of the dark intensity of
the last couple days and laugh out loud. Don't stress over what you
don't understand. Go with the flow and keep smiling. You can't go
wrong as long as you join in with the good cheer and merriment of the
      day.

      Gemini
      Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
You might find that something or someone is purposefully trying to
make things difficult for you, dear Gemini. You are trying to get a
handle on the issues, but somehow things keep slipping like sand
through your fingers. Don't force yourself to make any major
decisions, and certainly don't try to herd people into corners. Let
others have their freedom, and consider simply riding out the waves
      onto the beach.

Skate nite was cool. A guy named Steve came, but left early. I don't
      think he had much fun.

Then Lourdes showed up, very cute & perky & outgoing. I didn't think
I was going to like her, but she turns out to be very cool. She does
      stained glass too!

Then Lynn & David showed up, very nice couple. David does archery.
They skate on the Veloway on Sundays (?). David looks a bit like
Bowie. Lynn looks a bit like Amy Knox, my old boss, but seemed like a
      nice, sane person.

Also, we had Jason, who is not technically 'no kidding', he is a
regular, he and Lourdes met at a "single volunteers" meeting. He
      skates very well.

We chatted about other upcoming No Kidding events & just had a nice
visit, nice exercise. Lourdes and I skated & talked. That was fun.
      She's a nice gal. I actually stayed until 10!

Skate night was GREAT. People actually showed up. I met a guy named
Steve, he's an electrician and was disappointed that the skating rink
didn't serve alcohol (hello? huge liability issue!) then he left
early, and everyone else showed up: Lourdes, who teaches and does
stained glass as a hobby, Lynn and David, a really gorgeous blonde
couple. I swear, David looked like Bowie! Also this guy Jason, who
works for TWC somewhere. Anyhoo...it was a fun time. We visited and
talked about the other No Kidding events coming up, and just had a
really nice time. I stayed until closing. Got a great workout. I
didn't think I'd like Lourdes at first-she's this gorgeous little
asian gal, very friendly and perky and cute...and you know how much I
usually get along with people like that. But then we talked about
Pilates and Yoga and then we hit on the fact that we both do stained
glass. She also knows how to do fused glass! Way cool. Jason was
doing all these dance moves on his inline skates, just boppin'
around, very cute. I had a great time

    521 quiz for Friday

      <br>I'm exceptionally artistic!

      target="new">kelly.moranweb.com</a>.
      </center>

Hasn't anyone ever told you that you're artistic?
Fair enough. Perhaps they haven't. But now that you know, you must
become one with your inner self.

Virtues: You look for immense creativity and individuality in people,
including yourself. You're not happy with anything less than
brilliant, and you focus on being expressive. You value energy,
liveliness, and upbeat personalities, but you're not supportive of
moodiness when you yourself can be unreliably moody. Seeking
activity, you like the bustle of business but need the secluded
atmosphere of a studio or private corner.

Aspirations: You feel the need to express your talents, whether it be
through writing, drawing, singing, dancing, composing, performing, or
photographing. While you strive to ever improve your work, you want
to display it as soon as possible when your impatience kicks in. You
want to be a prodigy but you might not have the means right at your
fingertips. Trust me, do NOT move to New York to do it. Yeesh!

Quirks: Conformists bother you because of their lack of
individuality. You're often late or unreliable. You're showy and
refuse to share the spotlight. You only tell little white lies. You
worm your way into the hearts of others, but be careful; some people
      despise the show-offs.

Factors: Surround yourself with activity and you'll always have
material to work with. Involve friends and family in your projects so
they don't feel like envious outsiders.

Future: Show business or not, you'll settle down happily if you're
among those who appreciate your natural talents and desire to
perform. Don't stay in one place too long, and don't be too hasty in
defining your relationships. Who are you to judge what only time will
      tell?
