The irony is
people still need each other.
They still fall in love.
No matter what anger, suspicion
or paranoid fear of control
can erode trust
and destroy bonds between
those who were once
deeply connected,
no matter if
you'd better sleep with one eye open
to make sure the other guy
doesn't eat up all the rations
people still need each other
they still fall in love
especially now
when Venus and Mars
are traveling together.
A weird week to be sure
the politics of relationships are fascinating
are they not?
the situation is coming down to the wire
