"The choice isn't Republican or Democrat. The choice is you got a guy that's worth $150 million with 12 houses against a guy who's worth a million dollars with one house. The guy with one house really cares about losing a house, because he is homeless. The other guy can lose five houses and still got a bunch of houses."

SRSLY, U guise, let's make sure we have houses and jobs and money and food on the table, FIRST, and THEN we can all get back to poking our noses in our neighbors' bedrooms & making sure we approve of their lifestyle choices.

Chris Rock really never pulls his punches. I like how he said he drove a cab over and was hoping to pick up a few more fares on the way home. :-D

I'm going nuts with two conservative Republicans in the office but... everyone votes for the person they think will best run the country. I'm still not sure what my Dad will do and I think he's a good indicator. The moderate and middle of the road Republican does NOT support their candidates. I think they'll either jump to Democrat (YAY - OBAMA!! VIVA OBAMA!!) or vote liberatarian or green party....

The only thing about Obama's 'lack of experience' worries me is that he's not been a 'public servant' for long enough to make all the connections and have all the 'you wash my back, I wash yours' sneaky backroom deals in place to get Congress to back him up on anything. I worry that they are all so slavishly devoted to their lobbyists and so embroiled in shady deals that they will just sit around with their fingers up their noses while Obama pushes, pulls, and basically tries to carry he load all by himself....and he'll fail, everyoen will blame HIM for it, and we'll be back to the rich getting richer and the poor getting fucked in no time.

I have recently discovered I'm a "liberal conservative". A paradox if there ever was one. *laughs*

It's safe to say I am torn ='(

to me it seems pretty easy.

first, are you better off now than you were 8 years ago?

Or are you WORSE off?

If we get a guy in office who keeps on doing what the government has been doing for the last 8 years, how well are things going to go for you?

It's that simple.
