The San Antonio Rennies are having their monthly gathering at Serendipity Haven on 9/6. I went to the last rennnie gathering in San Antonio and it was a really fun time. Here's the info:


Serendipity Haven Fantasy Festival opens Saturday, September 6. The faire hours are
10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. The faire is located on FM 153, just outside of Smithville. It's at Rocky Hill Ranch, which was the location of the old Excalibur Faire that we all loved so much. The Serendipity Haven faire managers are really excited about putting on this faire and they've done a lot of work on the site. Plus, there will be camping up on the hill again. Do you know if they still need vendors? That might be an interesting venue for my stuff.

No, I don't have any additional info...but I'm guessing, from the last minute announcement, that they may still be looking for vendors. And looks like the booth pricing is per weekend, so maybe you can sign up to work some weekends and not for others, which is a plus, in my book.

Apparently they have events out there quite often, including a really interesting-looking 3rd-Saturday drum jam campout that I might want to try to get to sometime :)

With my parents in town and Kai in school I think we could pull off both weekends and maybe even the pirate weekend. I'm all for trying it out this year?

I'd like to maybe see if I can go out there to check it out first. Find out if they've advertised, how easy they are to deal with, etc...

I will also need to make sure that i have enough time to get ready for that and complete Michelle's ring.
