"Out of the dark, a light beckons..."

    Dena L. Moore, aka Venuskitty.

As the Moon increases in Mansion Thirteen, Mercury cozies up to
Saturn and gives him a wink. Saturn attempts to turn a blind eye to
the outrageous expression on Mercury's face, but even he, in all his
coldness, almost cracks a smile! Mercury is such a joker, such a
tease! Saturn may want to keep everything on a serious level, but he
can't always do it. This is a habit Saturn needs to break…he needs
to avoid falling into serious ruts and depressions, and he also needs
to realize that it is just as important to fulfill our own needs as
it is to `fit in' traditional or societal expectations. Life doesn't
have to be so serious all the time…this is what Mercury wants to show
him. It has become a pattern of relating between them - Mercury sees
Saturn's sour expression and becomes more and more of the trickster
in hopes of cracking that frown. Saturn may feel that Mercury is
always a fool, always playing around, but this is simply not true…he
only acts the fool in front of Saturn because Saturn is always
grumpy! If Saturn took it upon himself to be of more cheer, Mercury
would likely show his more serious side. Many of us fall into these
relationship patterns, and indeed, into patterns in our own inner
    worlds.

With the Full Moon shining light into this mansion, our emotions will
be brought into the cycle of patterns we create in our lives and in
our relationships. In fact, our emotional patterns may be our
toughest habits to recognize and change…we may enter into similar
relationships and behave in the same manner we always have and then
wonder why things continue to fall apart! Or we may become depressed
by something someone says to us, even though we've heard it many
times over…yet, we allow the negative energy to affect our own self-
esteem! These are patterns and cycles we must recognize in order to
    change.

    evile: hi :)
    SkyeDS: how do :)
evile: Ok. Seems that in a 4 day work-week, they try to cram 5 days
worth of work hassle into it anyway.
    SkyeDS: nods.
SkyeDS: Today is hectic around here because we have two deadlines
    today
    evile: eeps!
SkyeDS: and my efforts to have him producing work 7 days out before a
deadline SOP are not coming to fruition
evile: nope :P that's one of those lifetime bad habits
SkyeDS: <shrug> well, I try to keep him running at maximum
efficiency, that's all I can do
    evile: yup.
    evile: Full moon tonight :)
SkyeDS: been very pretty last few nights - the moon and the night in
    general
    evile: yup.
evile: T-storms forecast for later tonight...
SkyeDS: rain woke me up early this am, I don't remember if thunder
    were involved
SkyeDS: the blackland prairie is turning an emerald verdant, even
more so after the rain, it just radiates
evile: I was having more awful dreams, and the cat was meowing half
the night. I don't remember rain at all.
evile: L&B's property is looking good. We went out there Saturday.
evile: Lots of bluebonnets this spring, looks like.
SkyeDS: bluebonnets are always a good gage of appropriate levels of
    rain
    evile: *nod*
evile: I can't believe terriblelynne hasn't apologized directly to onyxlynxx
    yet...what a mess.
SkyeDS: was it onyxlynxx's home where all transpired?
    evile: yes.
evile: Rifka is saying "OH, I thought you meant 'Kerbey Lane'
    not 'onyxlynxx's house!' "
    SkyeDS: *rolls eyes*
evile: Rifka handled onyxlynxx's smackdown very graciously and maturely,
IMHO. terriblelynne otoh is just digging herself deeper with all the
gratuitous indirect unclear drama-mongering posts in her LJ
SkyeDS: T has already established history of drama
SkyeDS: I will say this about T tho. When I had that bad experience
at Poly CM, and I wrote everyone involved to apologize for whatever
upset I may have inadvertently caused, terriblelynne was the only one of SIX
people to acknowledge my email in any form or fashion (including
    Markus).
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: and that even though I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me much.
evile: Actually, I think she does like you. She's always spoken
positively of you to me, anyway.
SkyeDS: I do find out I'm wrong about my surmises from time to time.
SkyeDS: Aaron who is Porteus of Drandmir I could have sworn didn't
care for me at all and then one day he came up and wrapped his arms
around me, and it's been like that ever since. Who really knows.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: owning one's own shit is even harder, I think sometimes, the
worse it is, and the guiltier you feel about it (I know that isn't
worded right and doesn't make good sense)
    evile: *nod*
evile: Alot of the 'immature,' 'socially inept' and 'emotionally
fragile' labeling terriblelynne is sticking on Rifka could just as easily be
    stuck on terriblelynne herself.
SkyeDS: we judge by our own yardsticks because they're the only
    yardsticks we have maybe?
evile: easier to find and condemn such traits in others than to
    objectively view ones own faults.
SkyeDS: it is largely true that what we hate most about others is
what we hate most about ourselves
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: except perhaps on some occasions some of us who are on
constant seek and destroy missions to root those things out of
    ourselves.
evile: easier to replace a habit than destroy one, in my experience.
SkyeDS: yep, I watched Cali do that with his nailbiting
SkyeDS: replace it with a good habit rather than just trying to stop
SkyeDS: we have already estalbished of course that I am flakier than
any of the flakes in the various subcultures to which I belong
evile: I liked what Wombat said in onyxlynxx's LJ--the things that we are
fighting now, are habits and behaviors that were formed in our past,
that protected us and allowed us to survive to now. They aren't bad,
just outgrown and we need to find new ones to live better now.
SkyeDS: a great deal of what I hate, I cannot understand at all,
because i have not got a single bone in my body that would allow me
    to do such a thing
SkyeDS: I liked that alot too.
evile: No wonder Apple chose him as her consort :)
SkyeDS: I posted to kulilinei today. I always feel a little awkward when
I don't know someone, posting to them.
evile: I'm pretty sure that's how I've gotten most of the people who
are on my friends list. posted in a friend of a friends LJ and the
    rest is history :P
SkyeDS: usually I sign off bramblekite's sister in law if it's
someone I read on your friends list (as it almost always is)
    SkyeDS: I forgot
evile: *shrug* I am pretty sure most people know who you are by now,
or at least would think to ask if they were worried/bothered about it.

evile: she's a very sweet, gentle person, but also pretty clear and
direct about stating her wants and boundaries.
SkyeDS: have probably already shot myself in the foot with her by
making a bad first impression on knighthorse
evile: *shrug* they aren't the same person.
SkyeDS: it will be nice if I did not make a bad first impression on
her through knighthorse, but it won't surprise me if I did.
evile: *shrug* let me put it to you this way: Kili and terriblelynne HATE
each other. knighthorse and Kili were a couple for over 10 years, and terriblelynne
and knighthore are very good friends, and terriblelynne frequently babysits his
    child.
SkyeDS: I'm hoping to reserve the chance in future to meet kulilinei, and
make a good impression there, whenever that is :)
evile: I hope so, too. :)
SkyeDS: I resonate with a whole lot of what she expresses in her LJ
evile: She is a very thoughtful person. I like her a lot.
evile: She is very quiet in RL, kind of shy-seeming. Still waters run
deep. I try to listen more than I talk when I'm around her, but it's
    tough sometimes :)
    SkyeDS: slow, apologies
    evile: s'okay :)
evile: Can I just say how fantastically STUPID chrisloy is? Jeezus.
    SkyeDS: ROFL
evile: she is apparently a property manager at some apartments or
something, and she is talking about how she wants to get rid of her
maintenance guy, how he made her so mad she yelled at him in front of
    some vendors.
evile: Imagine how surprised and angry she will be when he not only
wins his unemployment claim, but also finds he has lawsuit material
as a result of her losing her shit at him publically like that.
evile: I may even say 'told you so' at that point..
SkyeDS: you mean you were so gracious as to advise her against it?
evile: yup. and told her why, too.
SkyeDS: that was kind of you.
SkyeDS: I can't imagine she took it as it was intended tho
evile: I'm sure she'll get a bug up her panties about it. But oh well.
evile: I told her she needs to stay calm and make a paper trail, and
if she must reprimand him, to do so calmly and with only a member of
management or HR as witness, NOT tenants, clients, or vendors. it's
called creating a hostile workplace, big no no.
    SkyeDS: nodnod
evile: There's plenty I don't know, but that I do.
    SkyeDS: well no shit, sherlock
evile: chrisloy says:" He earned getting written up today and he
refused to take it behind closed doors. Kept walking away while I
was trying to talk to him. If he files for unemployment, I won't
fight it, I just wnat someone here who will actually DO his/her job."

evile: And be sure to tell your employer that when their tax rate
goes up because YOU didn't do your job properly. And when they don't
have any money to pay you, or give you a raise, that'll be why,
    darling dear.
    SkyeDS: ROFL
    SkyeDS: mean old you
    evile: amended to: "Ok.

I'm just telling you there's a way to get rid of him without opening
up your employer to having their UI tax rate go up and/or a lawsuit
for you creating a hostile work environment."
SkyeDS: that's what you get for your compassion.
    evile: yup.
evile: the good news is that i don't know her or like her enough for
her opinion to matter, and she's burned enough bridges with people
whose opinions DO matter to me that it just doesn't matter what she
says to me or thinks of me.
evile: I hate to see people being ignorant, but I don't have any ego
or emotion caught up in her situation.
evile: love how she dragged it off into left field, about how he
deserved the write up. Of course he did, I didn't say otherwise. dumb
    cunt.
    SkyeDS: LOL LOL
evile: common defense mechanism, I've noticed. Do something egregious
in response to something where a reasonable response wouldhave been
__, then go back to the source of the egregious behavior, rather than
acknowledging your response as over the top.
    SkyeDS: nods
SkyeDS: I have to go to the BME and SOAH, so I won't be back probably
    before 4
SkyeDS: HUGS wind to your wings :)
    evile: OK. drive safe *hugs*

    evile: hey, critter!
evile: how is the yob hunting?
    evile: :(
    Sineater: frickin icq >:(

    Sineater: gimme a q!
    evile: heh. troubles, troubles.
    Sineater: gimme a q!
    Sineater: gimme a q!
    Sineater: gimme a q!
    evile: How is ya?
Sineater: ok so finally broke down and installed the damn program,
since the web versions just do not want to work properly
think it is a site issue w/ i4q
    Sineater: pissed
evile: just at icq, or in general?
Sineater: got cigna more done.... went to dr brazeale today, then
talked to their billing to discover, why golly, fuckin' cigna did
not -fax- them the goddamned form on 2/3 as i requested, and as the
little bastard i spoke to promised
Sineater: made them fax it while i was in the office. took 15 minutes
of discussion and 40 minutes on hold to accomplish this
    evile: hassle!
Sineater: but goddamn it, they did fax that sucker.
    evile: good for you!
Sineater: then spent an hour going up and down the building to all my
dr's. good thing i was lazy when i picked them out :/
evile: I'm glad you got to see everybody, then.
Sineater: annoys me that job contacts have slowed down to nothing.
got a half dozen or so contacts off of twc's site, but no callbacks
    or anything. sigh
    evile: hang in there!
Sineater: only job i am sure i can get pays 10 an hour and is in
austin :/ oh well... better than 0 if unemployment does not come in
    evile: yeah...
Sineater: \one good thing at least, nat city mortgage thinks we do
not owe them any thing this month. ain'
t gonna disabuse them of that notion
Sineater: dr says hand has healed up nicely, can start working on
restoring range of motion now :)
    evile: good job :)
evile: dont' overdo it, nag nag.
Sineater: nod. need to work up to it gradually
evile: exactly. Just a little bit every day.
    Sineater: nodnod
evile: small consistent effort is a bigger better payoff in the long
    run.
    Sineater: so i hear
evile: they're inducing the pig on Friday, if she doesn't pop
sooner. as of right now, Mom's in Austin, planning on going to SA
    first thing Friday a.m.
    Sineater: oh??? staying w/ you?
evile: no, with Aunt L and Uncle B.
Sineater: guess they got somebody to stay with nana?
    evile: yup.
    Sineater: poor K/Mom :/
    evile: yeah...her choice, though.
Sineater: if they are inducing, that means the time is planned. are
they expecting us all to show then?
evile: I haven't heard anything of the sort, and I'm busy that day.
Vacuuming the cat. plucking my nostril hairs. yeah. very busy.
    Sineater: nod nod nod
evile: Rubber_Pig called Aunt L on MOnday to say she was taking cohosh and
such because she doesnt' want to wait until Friday. That stupid
    woman...
Sineater: brief discussion w/ skye confirms that is an
abortifascient. what kind of fucktard is she??? she's going to kill
    the kid that way
evile: sadly, probably the best thing that could happen at this point.
    Sineater: actually yes, it is
evile: Now, if it happens and Rubber_Pig either has criminal charges
brought against her by pro-fetus fundie repub. law enforcement, all
    the better.
evile: And if Brother A isn't so brainwashed that he realizes that SHE is
the one who 'lost' their baby and actually LEAVES at that point, even
    better.
Sineater: if she kills the child through her own stupid actions, that
could be the one thing that would break her hold on Brother A irrevocably
evile: I worry that she will kill the baby, adn then she and Brother A
will mourn the loss together, and willl bind him closer to her.
evile: depending on how clearly Brother A can see right now, know what I
    mean?
    Sineater: ... probably worked before...
evile: well, she supposedly 'lost' one in January 2004, when the'd
started dating in Dec. 2003, and apparently that was some big hoo ha
    with them.
    Sineater: *STOP*
    Sineater: :-D
evile: I am trying not to think much about any of that...nothing I
can do to help/ change. So I will focus on good stuff, happy stuff,
hearth & home and friends...it may be cowardly, but there it is. Grab
a papyrus boat and let's get to floating.
Sineater: nod. things will work themselves out i think. mattor of
fact looks as though she's trying to work them out already.
    Sineater: :-[]:->
    evile: yup...
evile: well, it's 4. Time for me to piss off.
evile: port and fire in the back yard, 7ish, if you're interested.
    Sineater: enjoy :)
    evile: *hugs* Love you, brother.
Sineater: love ytou too. take care
    Sineater: *LOVE*
