"Out of the dark, a light beckons..."
Dena L. Moore, aka Venuskitty.
As the Moon increases in Mansion Thirteen, Mercury cozies up to
Saturn and gives him a wink. Saturn attempts to turn a blind eye to
the outrageous expression on Mercury's face, but even he, in all his
coldness, almost cracks a smile! Mercury is such a joker, such a
tease! Saturn may want to keep everything on a serious level, but he
can't always do it. This is a habit Saturn needs to break
he needs
to avoid falling into serious ruts and depressions, and he also needs
to realize that it is just as important to fulfill our own needs as
it is to `fit in' traditional or societal expectations. Life doesn't
have to be so serious all the time
this is what Mercury wants to show
him. It has become a pattern of relating between them - Mercury sees
Saturn's sour expression and becomes more and more of the trickster
in hopes of cracking that frown. Saturn may feel that Mercury is
always a fool, always playing around, but this is simply not true
he
only acts the fool in front of Saturn because Saturn is always
grumpy! If Saturn took it upon himself to be of more cheer, Mercury
would likely show his more serious side. Many of us fall into these
relationship patterns, and indeed, into patterns in our own inner
worlds.
With the Full Moon shining light into this mansion, our emotions will
be brought into the cycle of patterns we create in our lives and in
our relationships. In fact, our emotional patterns may be our
toughest habits to recognize and change
we may enter into similar
relationships and behave in the same manner we always have and then
wonder why things continue to fall apart! Or we may become depressed
by something someone says to us, even though we've heard it many
times over
yet, we allow the negative energy to affect our own self-
esteem! These are patterns and cycles we must recognize in order to
change.
