Taurus Horoscope for week of September 9, 2004

I'm tempted to address you as "Your Majesty" or "Your Grace." There's
something regal about your mood. What's going on? Are you realizing
how much power you have to create the life you really want? Are you
ready to shake the misguided belief that others are in control of
your destiny? I won't be upset, Taurus, if you issue the equivalent
of royal decrees in the coming week. And I'll be pleased if you act
on Robert Anton Wilson's assertion that "Reality is what you can get
    away with."

Gemini Horoscope for week of September 9, 2004

If you believe your body is inherently sinful or if you're offended
by references to your private parts, stop reading now. Still here?
Good. The fact is, dear Gemini, that this is a perfect time to
celebrate, explore, and reinvent your relationship with your
genitals. It's your sacred duty to strip away every negative
association about them that you may have acquired in the past. Do
whatever it takes to arrive at the understanding that your sexual
organs are among the most sublime gifts the Divine Creator has given
you. Have fun with them, worship them, teach them greater discipline,
and in general lift them to the exalted state they deserve.

    evile: hi :)
    SkyeDS: hola :)
evile: You know...I never really listened to the words of that song
    before.
    SkyeDS: mood thing
    evile: *nod*
    evile: I'm just grumpy today.
evile: Oh, yay. The September poly dinner schedule is finally up!
SkyeDS: horses go to get coggins pulled in the morning
SkyeDS: brains feel like bout to fall out of head
evile: *hugs* sorry you aren't feeling well.
    SkyeDS: thankee kindly
SkyeDS: I could, I suppose, just choose not to let people push buttons
    evile: it's tough.
SkyeDS: even if said people are parents and installed said buttons
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: they are apparently coming this weekend to finish the building
SkyeDS: so Mom asks me if we got the roof up
SkyeDS: well, no, we don't have the roof up, otherwise it would be
    finished.
    SkyeDS: why not?
    SkyeDS: well let's see
SkyeDS: Saturday was spent arguing about the event
SkyeDS: Sunday was spent with group lessons
SkyeDS: and Monday, yes, I went to the movies
    SkyeDS: besides it was RAINING
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I do not post my schedule for people to criticize what I
choose to do with my time
    evile: yup.
SkyeDS: oh and then I shouldn't post no trespassing signs because it
will stir shit with the niehgbors
SkyeDS: got news for you honey, I have to post them neighbors or no
    to protect myself from lawsuits
evile: it's your land. You have to do what will protect your property
SkyeDS: somebody gets hurt on my land, if it isn't posted private, I
    get sued
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I don't see why she has to criticize and lay guilt for every
    damn thing I do
SkyeDS: I had a fuckin shitty weekend
SkyeDS: I did not need my decisions criticized.
evile: it's not about you, it's about her. If that helps.
SkyeDS: well, I'm examining my options
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: next time she asks did something get done, no
    SkyeDS: why not
    SkyeDS: because it didn't
    SkyeDS: no explanation
    evile: yup
SkyeDS: they refuse to defend their decisions to me
SkyeDS: I don't see why I should have to defend mine
    evile: exactly!
SkyeDS: I should be able to say, unpleasantness occurred, I don't
    want to talk about it
SkyeDS: I damn well do know enough to know to do research on what I
    don't know
evile: especially since it's still recent & still re-offends you
    every time you discuss it!
SkyeDS: I don't need to be told how to handle my neighbors
evile: they are mannerless pigs, you are dealing with them
accordingly. You know the neighbors better than your 'rents.
SkyeDS: she's turning into my Gramma I swear to god
evile: We all turn into our mothers, so it's said.
    evile: (terrifying thought, BTW)
SkyeDS: that makes my head hurt worse
    evile: sorry.
SkyeDS: I had set that thing to friends only and then every time I do
an edit, I discover I have to keep setting it that way
SkyeDS: I know Mom thinks I shouldn't even write a letter
SkyeDS: but threatening to call the police on me settled that
    indecision
evile: You have to set up each entry, I think, as far as privacy
settings. unless you set the whole thing friends-only, which I don't
    know how to do.
evile: Bryce had to set his friends-only a while back.
SkyeDS: thank you for the org suggestion, that helped immensely
evile: You're welcome. You did all the hard stuff :P
SkyeDS: think I'll fax it Friday
SkyeDS: that will give her all weekend to think on it
    evile: *nod*
evile: Polydinner on the 23rd is Ararat! I've been wanting to try
    that place for ages!
SkyeDS: I wonder if it's not sinus after all
SkyeDS: my eyes are watery, and I can't tell if it's sinus or that I
feel like crying for no reason at all
evile: I think ragweed is still high.
evile: A good cry is a big stress-reliever.
evile: (assuming it's done privately--Ihate crying in front of
    people :P)
    SkyeDS: ok I'm bad
SkyeDS: I just bid on four ebay auctions
SkyeDS: a set of 10 of those beautiful egyptian bottles
SkyeDS: I have no need of those
SkyeDS: a white collar and headset for Jesse
SkyeDS: and a full matching set w/ robes for Mirage
    evile: cool :)
SkyeDS: doesn't include new tack like the Egyptian set but cheaper
SkyeDS: and I like my saddle
SkyeDS: I don't know if I could ride games in a new saddle that isn't
anything like what I'm used to
evile: I wouldn't try that, personally. I'm sure it takes a month or
2 to break in a new saddle & get used to it, at the very least a
month or 2, I would think.
SkyeDS: the blanket on this one is obviously cut for an English
saddle but I bet with a pair of scissors used judiciously and
    carefully I can fix that
    evile: *nod*
evile: Have you bid on anything from this seller before?
    SkyeDS: no
    SkyeDS: 99.6% approval, powerseller
evile: *nod* just wondering if this was a favorite merchant, or
    anything like that.
SkyeDS: I'm willin to bet the bottles at least came from
    arabhorsestore
    evile: could be :)
evile: I think fire mountain gems had them in their last catalog,
    too.
SkyeDS: maybe I could give some away as gifts
SkyeDS: I did that with my last bottle collection (I don't know why)
evile: sometimes I get tired of stuff, too.
evile: Fire mountain wants $21.71 per bottle, they are 'large size'-7-
    8" high
    http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?PN=H141603GF
SkyeDS: this is a collection of 10 for $10
SkyeDS: but don't remember how big
evile: I'm finding that ebay often has better deals than fire
mountain, if you are looking for something specific
evile: definitely if you are only needing 1 or a handful of whatever,
    rather than a whole strand/gross/whatever.
SkyeDS: ebay = buyer beware, definitely
    evile: yeah
evile: Oh, dear. kaleon is being maudlin in his LJ. I am so very
tempted to tell him it's not the packaging, it's the personality. But
I'm sure he would not care to hear it...
SkyeDS: then he shouldn't say it publicly huh
evile: I'm trying to be more Buddhist these days. It fails the 'right
speech' test. Such a post would not help him, would not paint me in a
light I care to be seen in, and would not benefit anyone.
SkyeDS: well, my letter to the COC is hardly right speech either
    evile: bull.
evile: You are letting your parental voice yell too loudly in your
    head.
SkyeDS: welll it could be considered divisive
evile: There is nothing wrong, whatsoever, in protecting your home,
    your business, and your friends/family.
SkyeDS: is way I feel about it, divisive or not
evile: There is nothing wrong in pointing out that you've been
offended and offering a way to avoid the situation in future.
evile: Being a good person does not mean you lay down and play
    doormat.
evile: It is hard to be assertive in a positive way, but it is
    something that must be done.
evile: If a relationship is important to you (you and chamber, you
and me, etc) you have to speak up when you are being stepped on and
give the other party a chance to make an effort to improve their
    behavior.
SkyeDS: nods, and the police calling threats have got to stop.
    period.
    evile: absolutely.
    SkyeDS: <rolls eyes>
SkyeDS: I did not get bored
    evile: boy is fishing.
SkyeDS: well I haven't got time to play fish
evile: nobody does after, oh, say High School or at the most 2nd yr
    of college.... :P
evile: In HS, you'd have these pathetic little characters mooning
around and being gloomy, 'nobody loves me' bla bla, and we would all
feed their drama and reassure them that they were wonderful &
    loveable
evile: here in RL, if we meet a person who says "I'm ugly and
    unloveable" we say "Ok, bye"
SkyeDS: I don't remember drama in HS.
    evile: heh. i do :)
SkyeDS: but then I was as far away from whatever was going on, as
    possible.
evile: I dont' mean to be mean. Everyone has their bad hair days, or
days htey feel unlovable and icky, and if there's already an
adult, caring relationshp in place, I am more than happy to comfort a
friend who is feeling that way.
evile: But if that is their perpetual state, and it seems more like
attention-getting behavior than a bad mood, I'd rather pass.
SkyeDS: it does amuse me, kind of, the perspective some people see
    some things from
SkyeDS: I'm like, ROFL, what universe were you in?
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I have never fuckin forced smiles in a love affair
SkyeDS: when it gets to that point I leave
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: let's just completely gloss over yelling at me, throwing
    temper tantrums at me
SkyeDS: leaving the burden for time spent together all on me
SkyeDS: "i can't drive one hour to Rockdale every once in a while"
nevermind my driving to Stillfuckingwater Oklafuckinghoma 9 months
out of the year 4 years running
evile: Here's what is said "I am an unlovable, ugly person"
Here is the unsaid part "Only a real loser would love me"
and then they proceed to treat whoever loves them and finds them
beautiful accordingly, in order to fulfil their perception of
    themselves.
    evile: No, thank you.
SkyeDS: oh, and I didn't feel like sex one night when I was tired and
my neck was very much still out of whack
SkyeDS: and I had already taken the next day off work because I knew
I would need sleep but be physically ready for whatever the next day
    evile: ugh.
evile: and it was all about him, of course, couldn't possibly be
    about YOU. Just... ugh!
evile: Onyxlynxx's main guy, the adorable, talented, and gorgeous roninjedi
seems to be in one of those self-hate, drag-you-down-with-me spirals
lately. I hate to see her going through it. She deserves better.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: Oh well. She will have to decide that on her own. I think it's
    coming, slowly but surely.
SkyeDS: I do so love quizzes
    evile: they're fun.
SkyeDS: rofl "I shagged Snape" rofl
evile: I took a 'halloween party' quiz earlier but forgot to c&P it.
It had sineater coming to the party dressed as a princess, and you as the
    porn star. the mind boggles.
    SkyeDS: ROFL
SkyeDS: maybe, when I was in college
    evile: *grinz*
SkyeDS: Karen had specifically requested no cat costume for the event
    SkyeDS: I'm like, huh?
    evile: ?
SkyeDS: apparently the entire shire had been investigating my yahoo
    photo album
evile: the rockdale chamber thingy this past weekend?
    SkyeDS: yep
evile: Um...how would a cat costume even be remotely related to gypsy
    and/or SCA? Bizarre.
    SkyeDS: well yeah
SkyeDS: I'm like, um, that was halloween many years ago
SkyeDS: I did it exactly once
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: cannot for the life of me figure out why the entire Shire
would be gathered around one puter looking t hrough my photo album
SkyeDS: or how they even knew it was there
SkyeDS: which reminds me, I need to put all our ren pics there so we
can link them to bpr web page
    evile: No telling.
evile: I've been working on a re-org of my various photos, trying to
get them into something more accessible. Why store all these megs of
photos if I never look at them because I can't find them?
SkyeDS: wonder how quickly Karen ran through them so as not to
entertain the men overly much rofl
evile: very odd & interesting, that.
evile: I guess some people just have too much time on their hands.
evile: Yahoo ate a whole bunch of my pictures in their last format
change. I can't find any of 'em anymore. Luckily I still have them in
my hard drive at home. somewhere....
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: And Sweetie still hasn't set up a photo thingy for me, quelle
    surprise.
evile: *LOL!* Best opening statement evar:

    "To whom it may concern:

If you are reading this statement, you probably have some knowledge
    of it's contents."

evile: Oh, and today's Winning Name was "Laquinta King"--person's
    name, not business name.
    SkyeDS: lol
evile: Hello, I am a preferred customer and I would like the Laquinta
    King suite today...
    SkyeDS: hehe
evile: Or maybe she was named for where she was conceived? ugh.
evile: oh, LJ is making me crazy. I keep posting coments & it keeps
saying that I've hit 'post' and left the field blank. ARGH.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: it's fun when it works.
evile: I am just bored & ready to go home. sleepy, too.
    SkyeDS: nods
    SkyeDS: dittos
evile: work is suckin' today. A lot of duplicates, which just waste
my time & dont' add to my production.
evile: Tonight is Elaine's b-day dinner, I'm going to give her the
ojime bead I found. I hope she likes it :)
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: I keep hearing that she doesnt' collect turtles anymore, but
at every gift-giving occasion, she still gets them from people &
    doesn't seem to mind...
SkyeDS: I am always thankful for gifts
SkyeDS: if it doesn't have a place in my home I always find a place
    where it is happy
evile: well, I figured it was small, so even if she doesn't collect
turtles, he wont take up much space :P
SkyeDS: I loved shopping for beads and leathers and stuffs
evile: the bead show this past weekend was really awesome. There's a
smaller one October 9. One of the booths I spent a LOT of money at
    will be there..
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: I just can't resist Czech glass. It's so cool.
    SkyeDS: I like crystals.
    SkyeDS: and glass.
    SkyeDS: and pretty shiny sparklies
    evile: *nod*
evile: There's still some places here in town that I haven't been yet
& need to. I ought to make a list.
SkyeDS: Nomadic Notions was cool, haven't been there in while
evile: they are cool, but pricey.
SkyeDS: I think I might better start making folders in my photo album
evile: e. gave me a gift cert. for there, but said she wanted to
go with me when I spent it. She was never available, and now it's
    expired.
    SkyeDS: that sucks
evile: Folders are good & helpful. I had several 'private' ones that
went 'poof' in the last Yahoo reincarnation. All my 'shared' ones
still seem to be find-able, though. I don't know what's up with that.
evile: Oh, wow, time to get paperwork sorted & get on outta here.
evile: *hugs* I hope you get to feeling better about things.
