SkyeDS: so Mom asks me if we got the roof up
SkyeDS: well, no, we don't have the roof up, otherwise it would be
finished.

SkyeDS: Saturday was spent arguing about the event
SkyeDS: Sunday was spent with group lessons
SkyeDS: and Monday, yes, I went to the movies
SkyeDS: besides it was RAINING

SkyeDS: I do not post my schedule for people to criticize what I
choose to do with my time

SkyeDS: oh and then I shouldn't post no trespassing signs because it
will stir shit with the niehgbors
SkyeDS: got news for you honey, I have to post them neighbors or no
to protect myself from lawsuits
evile: it's your land. You have to do what will protect your property
SkyeDS: somebody gets hurt on my land, if it isn't posted private, I
get sued

SkyeDS: I don't see why she has to criticize and lay guilt for every

don't know
evile: especially since it's still recent & still re-offends you
every time you discuss it!
SkyeDS: I don't need to be told how to handle my neighbors
evile: they are mannerless pigs, you are dealing with them
accordingly. You know the neighbors better than your 'rents.
SkyeDS: she's turning into my Gramma I swear to god

SkyeDS: I had set that thing to friends only and then every time I do
an edit, I discover I have to keep setting it that way
SkyeDS: I know Mom thinks I shouldn't even write a letter
SkyeDS: but threatening to call the police on me settled that
indecision
evile: You have to set up each entry, I think, as far as privacy
settings. unless you set the whole thing friends-only, which I don't
know how to do.
evile: Bryce had to set his friends-only a while back.

that place for ages!

SkyeDS: my eyes are watery, and I can't tell if it's sinus or that I
feel like crying for no reason at all

SkyeDS: a set of 10 of those beautiful egyptian bottles
SkyeDS: I have no need of those
SkyeDS: a white collar and headset for Jesse
SkyeDS: and a full matching set w/ robes for Mirage

SkyeDS: doesn't include new tack like the Egyptian set but cheaper
SkyeDS: and I like my saddle
SkyeDS: I don't know if I could ride games in a new saddle that isn't
anything like what I'm used to
evile: I wouldn't try that, personally. I'm sure it takes a month or
2 to break in a new saddle & get used to it, at the very least a
month or 2, I would think.
SkyeDS: the blanket on this one is obviously cut for an English
saddle but I bet with a pair of scissors used judiciously and
carefully I can fix that

evile: I think fire mountain gems had them in their last catalog,
too.
SkyeDS: maybe I could give some away as gifts
SkyeDS: I did that with my last bottle collection (I don't know why)
evile: sometimes I get tired of stuff, too.

evile: I'm finding that ebay often has better deals than fire
mountain, if you are looking for something specific
evile: definitely if you are only needing 1 or a handful of whatever,
rather than a whole strand/gross/whatever.

evile: Oh, dear. kaleon is being maudlin in his LJ. I am so very
tempted to tell him it's not the packaging, it's the personality. But
I'm sure he would not care to hear it...

evile: I'm trying to be more Buddhist these days. It fails the 'right
speech' test. Such a post would not help him, would not paint me in a
light I care to be seen in, and would not benefit anyone.
SkyeDS: well, my letter to the COC is hardly right speech either

evile: You are letting your parental voice yell too loudly in your
head.
SkyeDS: welll it could be considered divisive
evile: There is nothing wrong, whatsoever, in protecting your home,
your business, and your friends/family.
SkyeDS: is way I feel about it, divisive or not
evile: There is nothing wrong in pointing out that you've been
offended and offering a way to avoid the situation in future.
evile: Being a good person does not mean you lay down and play
doormat.
evile: It is hard to be assertive in a positive way, but it is
something that must be done.
evile: If a relationship is important to you (you and chamber, you
and me, etc) you have to speak up when you are being stepped on and
give the other party a chance to make an effort to improve their
behavior.

evile: In HS, you'd have these pathetic little characters mooning
around and being gloomy, 'nobody loves me' bla bla, and we would all
feed their drama and reassure them that they were wonderful &
loveable
evile: here in RL, if we meet a person who says "I'm ugly and
unloveable" we say "Ok, bye"

SkyeDS: but then I was as far away from whatever was going on, as
possible.
evile: I dont' mean to be mean. Everyone has their bad hair days, or
days htey feel unlovable and icky, and if there's already an
adult,caring relationshp in place, I am more than happy to comfort a
friend who is feeling that way.
evile: But if that is their perpetual state, and it seems more like
attention-getting behavior than a bad mood, I'd rather pass.
SkyeDS: it does amuse me, kind of, the perspective some people see
some things from

out of the year 4 years running

and then they proceed to treat whoever loves them and finds them
beautiful accordingly, in order to fulfil their perception of
themselves.

SkyeDS: oh, and I didn't feel like sex one night when I was tired and
my neck was very much still out of whack
SkyeDS: and I had already taken the next day off work because I knew
I would need sleep but be physically ready for whatever the next day

evile: and it was all about him, of course, couldn't possibly be
about YOU. Just... ugh!
evile: Onyxlynxx's main guy, the adorable, talented, and gorgeous roninjedi
seems to be in one of those self-hate, drag-you-down-with-me spirals
lately. I hate to see her going through it. She deserves better.

coming, slowly but surely.

evile: I've been working on a re-org of my various photos, trying to
get them into something more accessible. Why store all these megs of
photos if I never look at them because I can't find them?
SkyeDS: wonder how quickly Karen ran through them so as not to
entertain the men overly much rofl
evile: very odd & interesting, that.
evile: I guess some people just have too much time on their hands.
evile: Yahoo ate a whole bunch of my pictures in their last format
change. I can't find any of 'em anymore. Luckily I still have them in
my hard drive at home. somewhere....

my time & dont' add to my production.
evile: Tonight is Elaine's b-day dinner, I'm going to give her the
ojime bead I found. I hope she likes it :)

evile: I keep hearing that she doesnt' collect turtles anymore, but
at every gift-giving occasion, she still gets them from people &
doesn't seem to mind...
SkyeDS: I am always thankful for gifts
SkyeDS: if it doesn't have a place in my home I always find a place
where it is happy
evile: well, I figured it was small, so even if she doesn't collect
turtles, he wont take up much space :P
SkyeDS: I loved shopping for beads and leathers and stuffs
evile: the bead show this past weekend was really awesome. There's a
smaller one October 9. One of the booths I spent a LOT of money at
will be there..

evile: I just can't resist Czech glass. It's so cool.
SkyeDS: I like crystals.
SkyeDS: and glass.
SkyeDS: and pretty shiny sparklies

evile: There's still some places here in town that I haven't been yet
& need to. I ought to make a list.
SkyeDS: Nomadic Notions was cool, haven't been there in while
evile: they are cool, but pricey.
SkyeDS: I think I might better start making folders in my photo album
evile: e. gave me a gift cert. for there, but said she wanted to
go with me when I spent it. She was never available, and now it's
expired.
SkyeDS: that sucks
evile: Folders are good & helpful. I had several 'private' ones that
went 'poof' in the last Yahoo reincarnation. All my 'shared' ones
still seem to be find-able, though. I don't know what's up with that.
