TGIF...I am exhausted. I was actually dreaming when the alarm went
off instead of just sleeping lightly like I usually am at that time
of the morning. I was taking riding lessons and we all had to go to a
big barn and get our boots. I couldn't find any in my size and then I
found some but they turned out to be ice skates instead of riding
boots. wtf. At some point the horses came over, and there was one
really spotty vanner-type with kind of frizzy feathers on his feet. I
wanted to go and see him and pet him but dammit, I had to find riding
boots!

One of the grooms or instructors came into the equipment storage
area. He was telling me my regular shoes were fine & the trails
weren't too overgrown, and he'd put me on "good ol' Valiant" who
would not drag me through the weeds or scuff up my shoes too much.
Then this drunk woman in a sequined dress and heels showed up for the
class and started looking for shoes. She was saying something, or
maybe I was...and then the alarm went off.

SkyeDS: rent paid on time, paying installments of deposit on time

evile: I am so very ready to go home & have another early night at
home

evile: And then Saturday's for shopping, cooking, and cleaning, and
Sunday's The Picnic..which should be interesting, at the very least.
SkyeDS: has she made up her mind whether she's well enough to come?
SkyeDS: sineater made it sound like she keeps changing it
evile: When I last talked with them on Tues, she was all gung ho
to 'brave' the journey. I tried my best to discourage her....I don't
want her making herself sick or hurting herself on my behalf, ya know?
evile: 1) I don't want to summon up all sorts of fake "Oh, you're so
great and wonderful for hurting yourself JUST to be here!"
2) I dont' want her hurting herself and then saying "Oh, it's all
that evil evilE's fault for demanding that I attend her stupid
picnic!"
evile: Given her histrionics, it could really go either way. And I
can also see her getting miffed if she shows up, doesn't get hurt or
sick in the process, and I *don't* fawn all over her praising her
bravery and martyrdom....
evile: I dont' care if she comes or not, but if she does, it's not
going to be the "Wonderful The Rubber Pig Drama Show"
SkyeDS: hope not
evile: If she shows up I'll be like "Hey, thanks for coming, meet my
friends, go swim" and that'll be about it.
evile: The really great thing about being hostess is that I can't
allow myself to be pinned down with any one person, and that its'
about ME. :P

evile: It's my party, these are my loved ones, and if you want to be
the Diva, go throw your own party.
SkyeDS: I suspect Hugh is going to have a bad afternoon

SkyeDS: and nothing I can do to shield him from it neither

unexpectedly, dont' worry 'bout it :P

evile: ugh. Maybe you can just try and condense her blab down to the
main points, outline-style. :P
evile: You know...you and I are weirdos. We do and say some pretty
bizarre stuff sometimes...but when you examine our words & actions by
our own stated values, they are internally consistent. That is the
main problem I have with The Rubber Pig, I think. Her actions and words are
not consistent with her stated beliefs and values.
SkyeDS: I don't like people who are not at least internally consistent

evile: I can't even imagine all the health problems she brings on
herself by behaving so much against what she says she believes is
right.
evile: sineater said y'all were going to be at equestrian practice in
Elgin next weekend? I might want to see sineater & Jessie do their stuff
sometime.

know. If I wouldnt' go to Knighthorse & Kulilinei's, there is NO way I"m going
to some strangers'.

stay up that late since I have stuff to do Sunday a.m.
evile: Plus I'd feel like a heel to only show up for the 'real' party
and not do the gifty baby crappy party
