If some one with BPD (thinks they know it all), publicly labels you a narcissist with no credentials in the subject and you lose your job of 25 years do you marry them for revenge just to make their life hell and force them to support you?

What an oddly specific scenario.

My advice would be NO. If you hate someone and want to make them miserable and marry them in order to punish them, you are also locking yourself into the same cage-- a loveless, miserable marriage of two unhappy and sick people.

My sibling married a person who told people that “since being with ____ alienated me from my family, I am going to alienate _____ from their family, too" and proceeded to do so. 30 years later, they are still together, still in a sick and abusive situation. Family still alienated. Really unpleasant and unhappy for all concerned.

“Living well is the best revenge.” You can make a new life for yourself, find a new career, and be happy again, far from the person who hurt you. You can (and should!) marry a person you love (not hate!!),  whose company you enjoy, who cares about you (& who you care about!), who makes you smile and laugh, who shares life goals, mutual respect, mutual trust and forgiveness, values and morals.

Life is too short and too precious to waste locked in mortal combat with someone you loathe. Let it go, get counseling, and be happier and better off than all that mess!
