UB has decided she wants my friends. Crap.
SkyeDS: I think if I hung with you and your friends I
might enjoy poly dinner more
evile: we are the kind of snarky bitches that threaten
you at SCA and HFS, so probably not.
evile: Not trying to shut you out, just recognizing
that our behavior would probably push your buttons and
ignite your issues with women like that.
SkyeDS: depends on whether it was aimeda t me or not
SkyeDS: although I have to say I was so turned off by
what happened last time I have no real desire to go
back
evile: *shrug* You tend to assume it is, in a lot of
situations where others can't or dont' see it.
SkyeDS: if the snarkiness in HFS happened to my face I
wouldn't have problems
SkyeDS: it happens behind my back and then gets back
to me
SkyeDS: and that yes bothers me
evile: but then Kili snarked to your face, and you had
a problem with that, too...
SkyeDS: that wasn't snarking that was open attack
evile: which wasn't immediately visible as such to
anyone at the table but you.
SkyeDS: sineater caught the tail end of it, so it was
obvious to him, w hen he came back
evile: So I'd really hate to introduce you around to
the snarky bitch contingent, and then hear from you
afterwards that you had a terrible time because they
were attacking you the whole time.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You were right to discourage her, and I think you did so on no
uncertain terms. However, she remains undeterred as ever.
Any new developments?
How was your weekend? Mine was good. I was feeling pretty ok on
Friday, but I stayed home anyway. I did laundry, tidied up, and
rested. It was a good day. Then, Shane came over of course, and we
had a nice dinner and watched Footloose. :) Saturday, we hung out
on the peninsula - did a few errands (got his car washed, checked out
a wine shop we'd been meaning to go to, etc.) and then hung out in
downtown Palo Alto before meeting his folks for dinner. We had a
fabulous, fabulous time. They said again how much they liked you and
enjoyed meeting you. :)
Sunday was more relaxing - watched the Superbowl, and that pretty
much covers it.
And now, I am back to work, anxiously awaiting my package from
Fredericks, containing my French Maid outfit and Shane's V-day
prezzies (very snug-looking silk briefs; one red, one leopard print.
Heee!)
Hope you have a good day!
Love,
J-Law

me:
In retrospect, I realize that even though I *knew* she
was angling for my bitch-night/craft night
girlfriends, I could have just played dumb and said
"Oh, I'm on friendly terms with everyone at
polydinner."
And I also realized that in livejournal, both I and my
friend onyxlynxx have her on our 'friend' lists and post
regularly about stuff we're doing, and she never
responds. So...if she doesn't take some initiative, we
are not going to be issuing her engraved invitations,
ya know?

Maybe.... although, she strikes me as someone who,
once she has her eye on something, will keep after
it until she gets it. No matter what you said, she
would have picked at you about it. At least this
way, you can say that you were perfectly and
completely straightforward about it.
I sure hope she took the hint.

me to J:
Oh, Lordy! Malamorf/sonar0m got a livejournal, AND added me on ICQ. I
noticed that for a couple days after the last talk sineater & I had on
the phone, sineater was on ICQ at the same time as A. Apparently that
really threatened her and she needed some backup. Whatever. I have
better things to spend my brainpower on.
I added him on ICQ, but I'm not adding him to my friends list on
livejournal. I have met him maybe 4 times in my life and I don't want
him in my business, esp. since I suspect that UB will have access to
his passwords, etc.

It is funny that you enjoy your time with Shane's family more than
time with your own. I would guess it's mostly because time with your
mom can always run the risk of turning into drama, whereas you don't
have that baggage with Shane's folks.
Good luck with the taxes!

ohgawd. This whole thing just keeps getting better

me:
UB--*sigh* every time I think she's getting better, she unloads a
new bucket o' crazy.
(btw, I love the fact that sonar0m used the word "grate" to describe
her singing...I know he was having a homonym-mistake-moment, but it
still amused me greatly)
J-Law:
I love Malomar's grate vs. great gaffe. I hope UB catches it and
comes unhinged. Maybe they'd have to have her committed.
me:
As I observed to onyxlynxx, no doubt his writing style will be much
improved when Skye, his loving submissive (cough, retch, barf) takes
over writing his LJ for him.

Lemme get this straight. UB is the sub?!?!?!? I just assumed that
she was the dominant one. That just seems so... not how she is? But
maybe that's the point?
Anyway, she does need a good whuppin'.
I absolutely love onyxlynxx's "Goddess wept" comment. Perfect! :)

me:
I don't think she's a *good* sub, more like one of these

Yeah, I was pretty surprised when UB shared with me
that she considers herself to be 'submissive'. It
really doesn't fit the way she treats her men in
public, but I can imagine her being lazy/passive in
the bedroom and thinking that means she's submissive.
I definitely don't think she's a *good* sub, I think
she's more of a 'topping from the bottom' kind of sub.
This is kind of a funny website about the types of bad
subs:
http://www.vanilla-not.com/dominantvoices/subtype.html
And apparenty sonar0m is a good Master because he gave
her a collar.
Yeah. He's a 20 year old kid who was a virgin before
he met her, who incidentally can't spell and is too
lazy to use spellcheck, but he's so dominant.
what.ever. I'm sorry, domming is WORK. And most doms I
know are very precise and self-controlled in all of
their actions, including writing style.
Personally, I think she's posting all this stuff in
her LJ because she knows that her ex Kaleon has a LJ
and since she reads his obsessively, he of course MUST
be as enthralled by HERS, right? Makes about as much
sense as a soup sandwich.
========
J-Law:
I think you've hit the nail right on the head - UB is exactly the
sort of person who would mischaracterize her behavior to fit some
category like that. Exactly. very funny about Kaleon, too. I am
sure that's precisely what she thinks. Idiot.
me to J:
I've been amused/disgusted by the back and forth in UB
and Kaleon's LJs. They apparently aren't speaking,so
they write stuff in their LJ like "My husband doesn't
just sit at home on the internet when he's out of
work" and "My new girlfriend always wears a bra in
public, unlike some people" There is a lot of
unresolved crap there, but neither of them seems very
committed to moving on. UB less so than Kaleon, but
both of 'em are pretty sick lil' puppies. It makes for
entertaining reading, when I don't think about how
having her upset herself over shit makes sineater upset.
But...that's not really my problem or my fault,
so...whatever.
