aging, sign up for RealAge Premium membership!

    RealAge Benefits
YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE IN NOT STARTING SMOKING. Congratulations!
Your RealAge is younger because you do not smoke.

THE LACK OF OVARIAN CANCER IN YOUR FAMILY HISTORY IS BENEFICIAL TO
YOU. Your RealAge is younger because none of your first degree
relatives (that is, your biological mother, or sisters) had ovarian
cancer. Make lifestyle changes such as stop smoking and weight
reduction if you are overweight to reduce your risk of developing
    ovarian cancer.

THE FACT THAT YOUR FIRST DEGREE RELATIVES DON'T HAVE A HISTORY OF
BREAST CANCER IS BENEFICIAL TO YOU. Your RealAge is slightly younger
because none of your first degree relatives (that is, your biological
mother, or sisters) had breast cancer.
You should continue to follow breast cancer screening practices that
are appropriate for your age and level of risk. For more information
see the RealAge Breast Cancer Screening Assessment.

CONTINUE YOUR CURRENT LEVEL OF DAILY ALCOHOL USE. Your RealAge is
younger because you consume a half serving of alcohol per day.
Studies have shown that moderate alcohol consumption slows the aging
    process for most women.
    Some important advice:

Moderate alcohol consumption can increase your risk of getting oral,
    esophageal, or stomach cancers.
Remember, never drink and drive, and don't drink if you are under the
    legal drinking age.

CONTINUE TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF YOUR TEETH AND GUMS. Not only do
healthy teeth and gums improve your smile, but they also help you
make your RealAge younger. Studies have shown a link between
periodontal disease and aging of the immune and arterial systems.
Regularly brush and floss your teeth and have a dental checkup and
    cleaning every 6 months.

CONTINUE YOUR LEVEL OF DAILY SLEEP. You sleep about the optimal
amount of time per day. If you are not well rested, try go to sleep
half an hour earlier and stick to the same regular sleep schedule
    every day, including weekends.

CONTINUE TO AVOID SECOND-HAND SMOKE EXPOSURE. Second-hand smoke kills
20,000 people per year. Because you are rarely, if at all, exposed to
passive smoke, your RealAge is younger. Second-hand smoke causes
accelerated aging due to cancer, heart disease and lung disease.

MAINTAIN YOUR CURRENT BLOOD PRESSURE. Your blood pressure is at or
below 120/80. Great Job! If you are taking blood pressure-lowering
medicine, keep routinely taking your medication.

CONTINUE TAKING VITAMINS DAILY. Getting the right amount of vitamin
and mineral supplements helps you avoid the aging effects of
conditions such as osteoporosis and arterial aging. They also help
reduce the risk of heart attack and cancer.
To get a more accurate picture of your total daily vitamin intake,
and therefore, a more accurate calculation of your RealAge, return to
the Nutrition section of the RealAge Test and complete the In-Depth
    Nutrition Analysis.

MAINTAIN YOUR CURRENT HEART RATE. Your heart rate is 60.0 beats per
minute. It may reflect a good fitness level. Keep up the good work!
Your RealAge is the youngest it can be for this Age Reduction factor.
A heart rate of 75 bpm or less usually indicates a young
    cardiovascular system.

THANK YOU FOR NOT DRINKING AND DRIVING. Thank you for being a
responsible driver. Your RealAge is younger because you do not drink
and drive or ride in a motor vehicle with a driver under the
    influence of alcohol.

CONTINUE USING YOUR SAFETY BELT AND AIRBAGS. Your RealAge is younger
because you are protected by seat belts and an airbag when you drive.
    Continue to drive safely.

CONTINUE DRIVING AT YOUR CURRENT SAFE DRIVING SPEED. Your driving
speed is making your RealAge younger. Not only do you have a lower
chance of having a fatal or disabling automobile accident, but you
    also are protecting other people.

CONTINUE USING A MID- TO LARGE-SIZE MOTOR VEHICLE. Your RealAge is
younger because you are generally in a mid- to large-size motor
vehicle. Because of their size, a mid- to large-size motor vehicle
provides more protection in a serious accident than does a small
    motor vehicle.

MAINTAIN YOUR CURRENT DAILY CALCIUM INTAKE. Congratulations! You
consume 1200 mg or more of calcium per day. This quantity is the
correct amount to help slow arterial aging. High calcium intake means
younger bones, which helps reduce falls and fractures. (Too much
calcium can be bad for you. Do not go overboard with supplements and
    milk products).

CONTINUE TO NOT USE MEDICATIONS. Your RealAge is younger because you
do not routinely take any medicines.

CONTINUE TO NOT USE YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING. Your RealAge is younger
because you never or hardly ever talk on the phone while you are
driving. If you talk on the phone while you are driving, you increase
your chance of having an automobile accident, sometimes a fatal
accident. If you need to talk to someone from your automobile, pull
off to the side of the road. Although a voice-activated speakerphone
frees both of your hands to drive, it does not lower your risk.

YOUR HAPPY MARRIAGE HELPS YOUR REALAGE. A healthy marriage
relationship can improve social interaction and lower stress. In
general, married people have a younger RealAge.

KEEP UP YOUR FLEXIBILITY EXERCISES. Your efforts to improve and
maintain your flexibility may help your balance, protect your body
from injury, and are an important complement to strength-building
    activities.
Warming up your muscles and including each major muscle group is
important to maximize the benefits of your new routine. Try walking
at a relaxed pace for five to ten minutes before and after
flexibility work. Do not bounce or overstretch, but move gently and
slowly into each position, and remember to breathe deeply throughout
    your workout.

evile: howdy :) Nice new pictures!
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: I keep thinking it's Friday.
    SkyeDS: would be nice
evile: it'll be here soon enough. Too much going on, as usual, and we
still need to get our shopping & prep done for TRF on Saturday.
SkyeDS: what kind of evil bitch are you quiz, lol
    evile: I liked that one.
evile: icks. Rain chances for saturday went down, but the high temp
    went up.
evile: Looks like Peglegasus isn't coming with us this weekend. TRF is
looking more and more like it's gonna suck.
SkyeDS: aw, I like Peglegasus, Peglegasus = fun
    evile: yeah.
evile: One of his freinds is in a band, and he wants to be in town
    for their show.
    SkyeDS: I miss music making
    evile: i bet.
SkyeDS: I got out Ceili's Muse and S&G's Scarborough Faire at
BorderKeep, and my bard book, and got our little group to sing with me
SkyeDS: I don't like to sing by myself
evile: *nod* a little group sounds fun.
SkyeDS: size of group doesn't matter to me, as long as I don't have
    to sing by myself
    evile: yup.
evile: I've been reading about vitamins & supplements to maybe get my
    hormones back in whack.
evile: I tried 5htp this month, and it's been marginally successful.
evile: Now I'm reading up on evening primrose. So much newage
(rhyymes iwth sewage) out there, though. ick.
SkyeDS: Laura takes large quantities of evening primrose for her
    menopause
SkyeDS: it's also part of the fat flush plan
evile: I'm just trying to get scientific info, not a bunch of snake
    oil sounding crap.
SkyeDS: good luck. that's always difficult. last time I did that
was looking for homeopathic remedies for BG cysts.
    evile: *nod*
evile: I'm looking for active ingredients, dosage, when & in what
form to take it, and that kind of stuff. so far I'm just annoyed.
evile: I wish I could find someone between Dr. Davis the
condescending asshole with his "it's all in your head, see a shrink"
and these homeopathic snake oil looneys who seem to be after your
    entire bank account.
evile: I try to keep an open mind, but not so far open that my brain
falls out. I have no problem with paying an honest amount for an
honest service. But I hate being manipulated and cheated, and all of
the 'pracitioners' I've met so far seem to be quacky sales reptile
    types.
    SkyeDS: nodnods
evile: Oh well. I'm not ready to write off Western or newage medicine
just yet. I just have to keep looking.
SkyeDS: holistic = both. I like holistic.
SkyeDS: matter of fact when I was teaching, I prefered holistic
    scoring to traditional
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: wow. UPS just walked right through my door to pick up a
    Return
SkyeDS: FedEx doesn't do that, I have to go by there after work to
    return the other.
    evile: That is cool.
SkyeDS: Hugh doesn't feel well so I told him to stay home, have
    chocolate ice cream and darvoset
SkyeDS: so I am mistress of the manor today
evile: cool :) You can play music & carry on :)
SkyeDS: lol play music and be lazy
    evile: that works too.
evile: man...I wish everything didn't happen at once. This is in San
    Antonio Saturday night: http://tinyurl.com/4w4oa
SkyeDS: we need magic hourglasses, I'm tellin ya
    evile: really.
evile: I told Rio about it, hopefully she can go and tell me all
    about it.
SkyeDS: I have to run a gauntlet of three guilt trips every day.
ready to go home before I ever leave house lol.
    evile: that sucks.
SkyeDS: should have eaten half an hour ago.
evile: yeah. it's way past lunchtime!
SkyeDS: didn't eat breakfast till 10
    evile: *nod*
evile: interesting discussion on LJ, sounds kinda like your bdsm talk
    w/sineater, in a way.
    http://www.livejournal.com/community/polyamory/1204560.html

    SkyeDS: reading
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: is in someways, not in someways
    evile: *nod*
evile: I got sidetracked into taking a 'real age' quiz. I'm actually
    35.9, physically/emotinally. ick.
SkyeDS: that was a good discussion
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: but it's totally manipulative, that "well I would have if
    you'd asked one more time"
    SkyeDS: that's bullshit
    evile: *nod*
evile: It was said badly. Depending on which of her So's said it, I
would give 1 the benefit of the doubt and call the other one a
    manipulative jerk.
SkyeDS: I don't know her SOs
    evile: *nod*
evile: ooh, I gotta get a bottle of this for Halloween:
    http://www.pathwaytodarkness.com/nov.items.html
    evile: I'm super ADD today....
    SkyeDS: lol
evile: side effect of thinking it's Friday & having to keep reminding
    myself it's NOT.
evile: [Aunt L] says they have Vampire wine at Central Market. I wonder
if our big HEB has it, too.
evile: We tasted one of the Vampire Reds (probably the merlot) at the
TRF wine tasting a couple years ago. I wasn't impressed. It didn't
stand by itself too well, but it went OK with food. I wonder if [Aunt L]
would let me bring a bottle of Vampire to Thanksgiving. hehe.
SkyeDS: give it to [rubber pig], laced with whatever <grin>
evile: Oh, she's pregnant, I'm sure she won't drink wine in front of
    the family at least.
SkyeDS: as long as she drinks it eventually
evile: She was very enthusiastic about [brother A] possibly becoming a
pharmacist, however, so I'm pretty sure she likes pills not alcohol.
SkyeDS: that his profession du jour?
evile: No. He's going to work at Exxon and/or become a garbage
    collector.
evile: At least City employees get good benefits...
evile: I don't have any idea if these were actuall job offers the
were talking about, or interviews he'd had, apps he'd turned in, or
just jobs he saw listed in the paper and THOUGHT about getting. Their
brand of magical thinking makes thinking=reality.
SkyeDS: this group is interesting to read
evile: [rubber pig] still wants [brother A] to join th epolice force.
    SkyeDS: I don't read polyfi2 much anymore
SkyeDS: but noelfigart belongs to that
evile: But he is over the weight limit, so can't get in. I wonder if
he realizes he's doing that because he really DOESNT want to be a
cop, but can't say NO out loud to her anymore.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: It's interesting to see how many different uses people find
    for their fat.
SkyeDS: there's the name of that book "It's not what you're eating,
    it's what's eating you"
evile: maggiemaepisces and onyxlynxx have both lost over 100lbs each, and their
insights are incredible. And they're still struggling.
evile: such a gulf between mentally understanding what you do to
yourself and why, and actually being able to fix it.
evile: [rubber pig]'s father is morbidly obese & has been all her life. I
wonder if he got that way due to dealing wiht [rubber pig]'s mom.
    SkyeDS: onyxlynxx's lost 100 pounds?
SkyeDS: I don't want to know where she came from to lose that much :(
Although I need to lose at least that much, so that answers that
    question
evile: *nod* she's lost about 120, I think she said.
evile: I've been working on my November schedule. Just found out that
Tejas Web is hosting a Samhain ritual at the Vortex on the 1st. I
think I would like to go to that.
evile: Time for me to hit the road.
evile: Have a good evening :)
