at natural magic's garage sale/North Loop block party thingy with
Sunshine.

1/2 the store (the original half?) had been turned into a furniture
store, Cedar told me they were going out of business (I thought it
was an april fools joke, so I didn't say anything)

There was a large bat sign outside, it got blown away by wind. There
was an ice storm. my mom was there (?)

Going to IHOP with Jinx & my menu was incomplete, only front
& back pages, all the center ones were scattered all over the table.
Spiral bound, several laminated pages. I couldn't find anything on my
2 pages I wanted to order--it was all sweets & empty calories & empty
carbs. no eggs or anything.

2076 talked to Aunt L last night on the phone

No plans from L&B re: Easter Sunday. Apparently [sineater and skye] came up with that
theirownselves.

I feel less bad about missing it since it isn't L's plan.

Sineater acted like he didn't have [brother A]'s contact info, but L gave it
to him last night.

Mental picture of that convo:

Sineater calls [brother A], they say hello, then Skye_ds says something in teh
background on Sineater's side, then {Rubber Pig} says something in the
background on [brother A]'s side, then they talk to each other, then the
women start up with the screeching again in the background, etc etc.

SAD!!!

TGIF!

Spamarama is this weekend. Weather looks like its
going to be shitty, oh well. What's a little rain &
mud when there's SPAM to be had!?

Lots of other stuff going on. Gardening expo, hill
country food & wine festival, poly big fun (annual
camping with the polys at bastrop state park--no
thanks!), buncha other stuff. Whole Foods is having
their own mini food & wine thing on Saturday. Wow.
Lotsa stuff going on! And it's Rio's b-day tomorrow,
so we're going to SA Sunday to have dim sum brunch
with her & her family :) I'm excited. And I got paid
yesterday...life is good!

I may end up being out of the office the whole day on
the 6th. I've got a pre-op meeting with my gyno at 10,
then the facility where the procedure is being done on
the 8th wants to see me for more pre-op stuff AFTER
that. Why? Dunno. That's not the way we did it for the
Essure. Oh well. I've got the sick/vacation/whatever
leave to cover just about anything.

TGIF! I'm ready to kick some ass & chew bubblegum. And
the spam. never forget the spam.

I ordered new checks today (necessary)

and 2 prs of shoes from zappos.com--a pair of black leather chucks
and a pair of docs

Which, of course replaces my current gothchucks which are in bad
shape and my paisley docs which are not really replace-able, but in
bad shape & in need of retirement. I intend to somehow use fabric
from them in my nostalgia quilt.
