TGIF!

Spamarama is this weekend. Weather looks like its
going to be shitty, oh well. What's a little rain &
mud when there's SPAM to be had!?

Lots of other stuff going on. Gardening expo, hill
country food & wine festival, poly big fun (annual
camping with the polys at bastrop state park--no
thanks!), buncha other stuff. Whole Foods is having
their own mini food & wine thing on Saturday. Wow.
Lotsa stuff going on! And it's Rio's b-day tomorrow,
so we're going to SA Sunday to have dim sum brunch
with her & her family :) I'm excited. And I got paid
yesterday...life is good!

I may end up being out of the office the whole day on
the 6th. I've got a pre-op meeting with my gyno at 10,
then the facility where the procedure is being done on
the 8th wants to see me for more pre-op stuff AFTER
that. Why? Dunno. That's not the way we did it for the
Essure. Oh well. I've got the sick/vacation/whatever
leave to cover just about anything.

TGIF! I'm ready to kick some ass & chew bubblegum. And
the spam. never forget the spam.

I ordered new checks today (necessary)

and 2 prs of shoes from zappos.com--a pair of black leather chucks
and a pair of docs

Which, of course replaces my current gothchucks which are in bad
shape and my paisley docs which are not really replace-able, but in
bad shape & in need of retirement. I intend to somehow use fabric
from them in my nostalgia quilt.

Ohyeah, and I bid on a 3 CD Bond set on ebay. $25 + $5 shipping, $10
per CD. I dont care if I get it or not...just a wild hair kinda thing.

Here I was walking to the bus stop yesterday and being all smugly
self righteously self-congratulating about not being all crazy for
stuff and wanting things like you know who...and here I am on a major
shopping spree today. silly.
