Up till midnight last night. Patina-ed small shields. Got more triple
moon mirrors done, got 2 sun & moon mirrors done. Need more Xacto
knife blades to etch the large nuggets I'm turning into necklaces.
Tonight: witch balls and hopefully an early bedtime.
If I have another weekend like previous 2, I'll break even on
Saturday. I doubt I should bother with hoping such; something will
happen to keep me from it. *sigh*
I forgot to get my accounting txtbk on Wednesday, so I need to do
that today after work or at lunchtime. Forgot my lunch so I guess I
should do it at lunchtime. Nobody's ordering anything.
Le sigh. I am so tired and depressed and overwhelmed/underwhelmed. I
was not ready for Excalibur, true, but what if I had worked my ass
off for several months before Excalibur began and was still having
$115 weekends? That would suck!! Then again, maybe if I had more
stuff I'd be doing better. *shrug* who knows? I have some fantasy
patterns I want to try but I don't have time for a learning curve
just now. But eventually, yes. I will. I want to do the pegasus with
clear wings and a white body. I want to do another one in shades of
blue/purple. Goofy. But why not? It's a fantasy creature, why not let
it be blue, too?
I am ready for my nap!
jen sent me the best website--lots of nice vintage clothes & also new
stuff in classic styles, in good fabric--lots of silk.
Found the corset I want:

And they're in New Orleans. ROAD TRIP! If Andrea and I were friends,
that would be a cool thing for us to do. Since we're not....I guess
I'll either have to wait for Jen to get here, or just go by myself.
It's about an 8-10 hour drive. I could theoretically do it in a
weekend.
Speaking of SIL, I sent her the link and told her I wished she'd talk
to me.
But, really, she can kiss my ass. I am not interested in walking on
eggshells just to keep her happy.
