Fear and panic for some teenage cheerleaders attending a special cheer camp at The University of Texas.

Campus police say 26-girls attending a cheerleading camp at the University of Texas thought it would be "funny" to pile into an elevator at Jester Hall - to see how many people they could get inside.

Officials say the elevator was jammed packed with girl's ages 14-to-17 and the elevator became overloaded and malfunctioned.

Some of the girls used the cell phones to call 9-1-1 for help. There were trapped for about 30-minutes like sardines.

Several passed out in the cramped stunt.

I suppose it's wrong, but when this news story was on the radio this morning, Thax and I fell down laughing.
