X was a friend of mine, our mothers were friends in college and we knew each other all through our childhoods & adulthoods. A lot of history, good and bad.
A couple years ago, she cheated on her husband and tried to use me as her cover story. A bit after that, she was busted for selling meth in her home, a raid in which hardcore porn was also discovered in her oldest daughter's (my goddaughter) room. The child seemed very familiar with the images and very casual in discussing them with my mother. (really, truly, I know they had a bunch of scuzzbags parading thru their home using and buying drugs, I really DONT want to think about what they may or may not have said or done with my goddaughter...and if I have to think about it too hard, it makes me want her parents DEAD in small bite-size pieces...so don't make me think about it, OK?)
I cut off all ties with this person. Occasionally, maybe once a month, she'd send me email or call me on my cell at work (basically when she knew I wasn't free to really talk)
Last night/this morning, I had a dream that she and her husband and kids came to my house and were in my front yard. The husband was bitching that Sweetie and I had never 'really' talked to him, the whole time we knew each other. The youngest boy was almost as tall as me but still as pudgy and kid-looking as he'd been last time I saw him. The middle boy was exactly the same, but I could see through him, it was like he was made out of dark smoke. The daughter (my goddaughter) was on the edge of the yard, not looking at me. X was talking and talking and I kept telling her she couldn't come in to my house.
I called in sick to work today. I got up around 1030 and started cleaning house, doing laundry, etc. When I took some trash out, I saw that there was a sticky note on my front door, in X's handwriting, saying "Please call _______, [goddaughter] would like to talk to you."
Ick.
Why now? What does X want from me? What am I meant to learn from having this person keep coming up seemingly at random in my life?
Major protection vibes must be set up ASAP. Possibly with some real-world webcam pointing out the front window type backup.
