Turns out Elaine's thing was a suicide attempt. She was in her chair
when the maids found her. She had OD'ed, and had a gun next to
her 'just in case' I guess.

God damn.

But I slept about 14 hours, talked to my mom this a.m. and now I feel
much much better. Mom got C's info and will be calling to get the
whole story and then calling me back. I feel co

Sweetie is showering & getting dressed and then we will go to the
hospital to visit Elaine, give Pat some support if he's there, and
then go to Sharjinka's housewarming, maybe :)

*sigh* [Aunt L] gave us $ and said we needed to go out and do something
just for us, just the 2 of us.
