  Friday: dinner at Mongolian BBQ w.Sweetie & peglegasus. Late to bellydance show,
  decided to skip it. got lotto tix (won $3 on Mega millions!)
  
  Saturday: breakfast at [aunt L & uncle B]'s. Sweetie came with, but then went
  home to work on purple trooper. L&B and I went to Wimberley, shopped.
  I found a neat stained glass booth, "Totally Fabulous" where I got a
  stained glass framed gypsy/goddess picture with a cool frame. it
  rained a bit, but was nice. Got home around 3:30-4, Sweetie was still
  working on the trooper. Took a nap on the couch. Around 6, Sweetie was
  done, I went off to Rockdale's culture fest. Got there around 7:15-20
  ish. Found the event very easily, it was just off the main road going
  thru town, found skye_ds & sineater very easily. Visited w/Them, got a
  peach margarita snowcone, & just hung out until about 9, then came on
  back home. Apparently A & E had some trouble with the chamber's
  organizer for the event wanting insurance on the horses, bla bla,
  they were both very upset about that. They had the horses & their
  chairs near the SCA booth, but the SCA people did not talk with them
  at all. One fighter chick (short hispanic lesbian type) hugged sineater
  Bye as she was leaving, and that was it. heard lots of the same spiel
  re: the critters & her talents, bla bla over & over. Monday at
  breakfast she referred to these speils as 'the litany' so I guess
  she's aware it's repetitive.
  
  Sunday: slept in, drank coffee w/Sweetie, then went to the bead show at
  the crockett center. Spent about $50, not including $4 admission.
  Found some nice things: a turtle bead ojime for Elaine, a bat ojime
  (no hole, maybe not ojime but same style) for me, Czech beads for me
  & sister H & mom & aunt L, and a vintage-style Kali tin matchbox for D.
  and 2 strands of magnetic beads that I wore as a bracelet for the
  rest of the day. I was looking for pearls, clasps, etc. to make that
  necklace I saw in Vogue but didn't find anything that fit teh bill.
  went to Discount Cinema w/Sweetie Sunday evening. I saw King ARthur at
  6:50 while Sweetie saw Day After Tomorrow. Then we both went & saw The
  Chronicles of Riddick (apparently it's a sequel to something called
  Pitch Black. I guess I'll have to rent it)
  
  Monday:
  Went to HEB for movie food & a HEB gift card for Jose, then Taco
  Cabana for bkfst w/sineater, skye_ds & sonar0m. All 3 of them frequently
  talk at once, it's annoying. Pathetic, too. They are all just so
  desperate for attention. Various bitchery about people in SCA and
  horse stuff, but they were mostly done with Becky(?) the Rockdale
  organizer for the culture fest who offended them.
  
  Then we went to discount cinema for Shrek 2 and Harry Potter & the
  Prisoner of Azkaban. I really enjoyed the Harry Potter movie--I had
  not seen any of them before and I think I've only read the first 2
  books, but it was a cute movie & the sets/locations were great. I can
  see why so many people like writing Harry Potter fanfic & doing role-
  playing games revolving around what if they were students at
  Hogwarts.
  
  Then home, where I got Sweetie to do dishes & then I ate and drank 2
  beers, read, surfed the net, and went to bed early.
  
  yay for 3 day weekends--It was really good. Aside from being a little
  dehydrated & some mishegoss with [brother A] bringing  Paulie up/not making
  it/bla bla/what else is new
