I work for the state of Texas. The bad news: my coworkers are useless
bovines. The good news: I will never be fired, no matter what I do or
don't do.
2. Where are you from? Is it a good place for a single guy in his
early 20's to settle in? (Again, I need ideas.) (all)
Austin, TX. You may as well come here, all the other 20-something
single guys are here already.
3. Are you ready for this jelly? (all)
I don't like jelly.
4. Spandex - a good idea? (all)
...usually, not.
5. Use the word "scrumtrulescent" in a sentence. (all)
I brushed my teeth, careful not to actually touch the scrumtrulescent
sink.
6. Seriously, what's the deal with this "pop life" and when is it
gonna fade out? (all)

7. What word could be best used to describe "Assmaster?" (NOTE:

No. I am inclined to speak in cliches and aphorisms in lieu of
original thought. Why re-invent the wheel?
9. Am I hot or not? Why? (Okay, that's a question pertaining to

10. Scenario: You're a passenger in my car and I suddenly start
singing along to Destiny's Child. Do you join in or jump out, risking
death to avoid my vocal fabulousness? (all)
Is there a third option? such as gritting my teeth, putting my

11. Scenario: You're locked in a cell where you must listen to one

1. Where abouts are you located, and do you like it there? (all)
Austin, TX. I like it lots, but don't do as much cool local stuff as
I should
2. If you could live in one place, where would that be? (all)
Chenonceau, France. A great old chateau owned by a French chocolate-
making family. win-win.
3. If you had one wish, what would it be? (all)
I wish I didn't have to work for a living. 
4. Which would you rather be, blind or deaf? Why? (all)
deaf. I'd miss music terribly, but I'd still be able to do stained
glass without a hassle.
5. What is your favorite thing in the whole world to do with your
free time? (all)
sleep.
6. What's the craziest thing that you've done that nobody would ever
guess by looking at you. Come on, even I have jello-wrestled, what
did you do? :) (all)
I've gone rappelling. 
7. What is your ultimate job or job related goal? (all)
...I'd like a job that doesn't make me feel like shit about myself.

...? all of em? Right now, probably sushi.
9. If you had to choose only five songs to hear for the rest of your
life, what would they be and why? (all)
Only Makes Me Laugh--Oingo Boingo, Anarchy in the UK--Sex Pistols,
Ribbons--Sisters of Mercy, Add it Up--Violent Femmes, Caribou--
Pixies. Why? ...I dunno. Probably I'd get least sick of these 5 as
opposed to another 5.?
10. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would
you go? (all)
France. Eating good food, drinking good wine, smoking good
cigarettes, and giving off plenty of 'tude sounds like a good
vacation to me. 
11. What do you think about the new SouthWest policy on larger people
having to buy two seats if they "hang over" from one seat into the
next? (all)
Actually, most airlines have this policy, but Southwest decided to
try and enforce it. If they'd be fair and non-humiliating about it,
it would be fine. But they won't be, so it sucks. 
12. What is your favorite time of the day and why? (all)
bedtime. I like my little routine of reading for an hour or so and
then going to sleep. 
13. Favorite thing to drink? (all)
Coffee.
14. Are you a cat person, a dog person, or both? (all)
Cat person, definitely.
15. What is your favorite movie of all time? (all)
...probably Labyrinth.
16. Do you believe in love at first sight? Why or why not? (all)
Oh, heavens no. Lust,sure. But love is something that requires the
building of trust, at least for me. And that takes time.
17. If you could travel back in time, who would you most like to meet
and why? (all)
Aleister Crowley. I've read so many books about him, and they almost
seem to be about different people. So I'd like to meet the real Al.
18. Speaking of time travel, what time would you most like to live
in? (all)
Now is probably good. Women have more options than in previous
history, we have good medicine and hygeine. I don't think I could
hack living in a time where people bathed once a year and never
brushed their teeth.
19. What do you think about make-up? To use, or not to use...that is
the big question. Just kidding, I'm curious, that's all. (all)
I wear it sometimes. It's no big thang. I don't really understand
people who say they can't leave the house without makeup on. 
20. Finally...why do you read my diary? (all)
I like your style, and your life seems to contain many of the same
existential crises as my own.
