I work for the state of Texas. The bad news: my coworkers are useless
bovines. The good news: I will never be fired, no matter what I do or
don't do.

I don't like jelly.

...usually, not.

I brushed my teeth, careful not to actually touch the scrumtrulescent

No. I am inclined to speak in cliches and aphorisms in lieu of
original thought. Why re-invent the wheel?

live alone? (all)
Live with a guy, hetero monogamous type relationship
6. How many people would you consider to be your friends? (all)
maybe 5
7. Do you have a BEST friend? (all)
yes. I tried not to rank my friends, and never wanted to say this
person or that person is better, but as it turns out, I have one
friend who is ALWAYS there for me, who is NEVER ugly to me, who is
consistently HONEST with me, and with whom I have a very equitable
give-and-take. So, yes, I have a BEST friend. 
8. How did you meet most of your friends? (all)
? I don't really remember. 
9. How did you meet your BEST friend? (all)
Through mutual friends/acquaintances, while we were both in college. 
10. What do you think your friends expect of you? (all)
Honesty, emotional support, occasional financial help, a listening
ear, a shoulder to cry on, a ride to the airport at 5 a.m.,
occasional random presents and to remember their important days in
some way, not necessarily by a material token.

Same.

of course. Why be friends, otherwise?

Yup. In the biblical sense ;)

yes. lack of communication.

Yup.

Oh, all the time. But I know I'm not up for the challenge of being a
better friend, so how can I expect people to be better to me?

*laugh* Sometimes I feel like I don't have any...so yes.

How did you get away from being alone? (all)
When I was younger, i found that being sort of freaky looking and
eccentric and saying 'get the fuck away from me' attracted lots of
people. These days, I say "get away" and people pretty much take it
at face value. heh. 
19. Do you think people NEED friends? (all)
Oh, absolutely. there's scientific studies and stuff about it. 
20. Would you want to me MY friend? (all)
You're probably too young for me :) But we could hang out sometime,
if you want.
