Starting this year, we celebrate Decemberween. In the past we've done
some sort of compromise between our Xtian relatives who do xmas and
our pagan friends who do Yule/Solstice. Neither of those mean
anything to us, so we're trying something new.
2. Did your family have traditions that you still enjoy? Explain.

My grandmother made Xmas ornaments out of jar lids and photos of
family members, pets, etc. then she'd decorate them with beads,
rickrack, greenery, etc. Her tree was always great for stirring
memories.I should do that.
3. Do you get the holiday blues, or do you enjoy it with childlike
wonder? (all)
Blues, baby.
4. What is your favorite part about the holiday season? (all)
People are nicer to one another
5. What are your favorite holiday goodies? (all)
fudge, eggnog, peppermint sticks.
6. Did you believe in Santa Claus growing up? (all)
yes
7. What is your favorite Christmas music? (all)
I like parody songs.
8. Do you like white lights, or colored lights? (all)
white
9. Real tree, or artificial tree? (all)
None.
10. Star on the top, or angel? (all)
If I had one, I'd put a star on top.
11. Turkey or ham for Christmas dinner? (all)
varies. last year it was turkey, this year it will be ham. Maybe next
year it'll be brisket.
12. Do you like egg nog? (all)
yup!
13. So you have any holiday traditions that some would consider
unusual? (all)
Maybe, but I dont' care about what they think.
14. What is your favorite Christmas cookie? (all)
no cookie. fudge.
15. Do you enjoy getting together with extended family, or would you
rather just stay home with your own kids? (all)
no kids! yay! It depends. I really enjoy my solitude, but occasional
family gatherings are good
