evile: hi! I'm having a tremendously unproductive day so far...how
about you?
skye_dsDS: bout the same ;)
evile: I want a green puppy. One of my TIM buds called it an 'emerald
retriever'
http://www.nbc4.com/slideshow/5293859/detail.html?qs=;s=1;w=320
skye_dsDS: lol
evile: Isn't that the cutest thing??! J-Law says it should have a
littermate named 'Ginger'
skye_dsDS: could name the litter ginseng, gingko and teriyaki :D
evile: hehee :)
evile: LOL--Onyxxlynx asked if I was mad at the SBC since I haven't been
to girls nite since Halloween
skye_dsDS: I don't know, but typically it's obvious when yo u're
mad...ie you don't have to be asked
skye_dsDS: but then, I think that of myself too
evile: you would think...Onyxxlynx asks me that frequently. I think
that's her issue/baggage, not anything about me.
skye_dsDS: good to know that she cares, at least
evile: yeah. But kind of ironic, considering that her schedule change
at work has made her disappear fairly early from gatherings, when she
shows up at all, plus her recent return to Karate has made her miss
lots of Thursday poly dinners...
evile: Of course I miss her, and in some childish corner of my mind
get all pouty that she'd rather do that stuff than hang with ME, but
I totally understand and I don't assume she's mad at me...
skye_dsDS: your lenses are different than hers (or mine, or...)
skye_dsDS: Seasha hadn't returned like two of my phone calls so I was
worried that I fucked up socially at Halloween or what not, but she
called today, and was just busy
evile: *nod*
skye_dsDS: I'm paranoid
evile: Yeah...you do just wish everyone would be straightforward with
everything, but some people aren't, and like you say, every person is
different in how they percieve and react to things.
skye_dsDS: there are a lot of people who WOULD be expressing something
by "boycotting"
skye_dsDS: and expect the rest of us to "get it"
evile: I'd probably go ahead and say something like "I'm not
comfortable with ___, so I won't be there" Maybe not to the actual
person I was uncomfortable with, but everyone else would know. It's
cowardly, but not completely uncommunicative.
skye_dsDS: cowardly, confrontational, combative, all degrees
evile: *nod*
skye_dsDS: I know when we wouldn't religiously be at BD every weekend
people would imput motive
evile: I'm trying to get better about it. Still get caught in old
crap. Niki assumed I wasn't at last Girls nite because her mom and
sister were going to be there.
skye_dsDS: that "ass-um-e" thing again
evile: From the stories she's told, the sister sounds like an unholy
brat, and likely if I hadn't had Krav I would have found another
excuse, but truthfully, I had plans to be at Krav class long before I
knew anything about Niki's family visit & plans.
skye_dsDS: I saw a Krav studio in the land of the wild Pflugers last
night
evile: cool.
evile: the one we go to is affiliated with one in San Marcos, but I
think that's their whole chain.
evile: so far, I like the one on WM cannon best, where I took the
intro class last summer. Very hard work, quick results, good
instructors, but kind of crowded.
skye_dsDS: I miss yoga with Peter
evile: *nod*
evile: Yoga Yoga has good yogi tea after class, but I haven't found
an instructor I like as much as I liked him.
skye_dsDS: he was just good for me, can't really quantify it
evile: *nod* He was a very gentle, loving spirit.
evile: Jen, the woman that's been subbing for Lori, the usual Saturday
hatha instructor, for the past 2-3 weeks, is pretty good. Slower
paced, more relaxing, more stretching, and we usually do 1 or
2 'restorative' poses that I REALLY like. I may need to try a whole
restorative yoga class one of these days.
skye_dsDS: nodnodnods
skye_dsDS: good for the double gem nerves, that
evile: *nod*
evile: hm. there's a 3-4:15 tomorrow, I may go, since I have the day
off.
evile: that's the thing I don't like about yoga yoga, the classes are
mostly when I can't go...they're more geared towards bored TX
housewives I spose.
skye_dsDS: with money no doubt
evile: yeah. it's up to $16 for a single class, and if you get a 20
class pass, the price drops to $8 a class, but 8x20 is a buncha $
skye_dsDS: sineater fixed Hugh's stereo in like a matter of seconds last
night
skye_dsDS: so we have music today and everybody's much happier
evile: awesome.
skye_dsDS: listened to the Sundays, never heard them before, good
evile: yup. They had a couple of hits in the 80's, I think
evile: maybe early 90s. I think I may have discovered them while I
was at WGRE, come to think of it.
evile: perfect timing. someone just burned popcorn and it's time for
me to leave! Run from the stench!!!!
evile: If I don't come online tomorrow, have a great weekend :)
