meh, it’s a free country, say whatever you want. Just be prepared for consequences of your words.

What would be your desired outcome of calling someone that?

If your intent is to ‘slam the door’ on a person who has been behaving badly & end a relationship once and for all, by all means, call them every name you can think of.

BUT, if your intent is to call attention to behavior you find unacceptable, and you want a chance to improve the relationship or keep the person in your life, you may wish to choose a different word or a different approach. If this is a person you value and want to keep in your life, talk about their behavior and how it makes you feel. Ask for the behavior you’d prefer. Communicate and set boundaries and see if the relationship can improve from there.

Words are powerful and can really be hurtful (not to a true narcissist, but to anyone else being called that) so choose wisely
