dream:

I was looking at a catalog, or faire program, or schedule of classes,
and it had a picture of one cast member/instructor in yellow & orange
velvet garb, long white hair & beard, with something like "I have
never gotten a faire favor because I am ex military"..? I think his
name was Sir William..?

So I was going to wrap up one of my computer-button favors and give
it to him with a note saying something hokey like "thank you for
protecting our freedom & serving our country" or someshit, and then I
saw him with a bunch of people in garb, getting faire favors from
everyone & then they were all getting on a bus (to go to faire?) and
he was going to teach a class. His hair was shorter, and his beard
was a little point instead of the long flowing one in the picture,
but he was still in garb.

I went to the library where the class was supposed to meet, and met
up with a young dark haired guy, reminded me of a combination of Judd
Nelson in Breakfast Club & Tom Chiarella. We were chatting and having
a nice talk, when I mentioned a class I'd taken and he said some
friend of his (Kara/Bliss from old bookstop days?) was in that class,
and then he realized that I was the same evilE who had insulted her
in the class & she had never gotten over it and was still hurt and
upset by whatever I'd said to her in the class.I could barely
remember the class, or her, so I was going to go check my journals
from that time in my life & see what it was I'd said or done that was
so horrible. So, this Judd/Tom guy was totally railing against me and
telling me what a horrible bitch I am and just going on and on, and
then the other class members showed up, and we all went to this area
of the library with chairs & couches. I sat down at one end of a
sofa, and the class members started introducing themselves. One of
the class members was a famous author. A bunch of faire people went
off and started talking among themselves with the prof. As the people
were introducing themselves, I was saying "nice to meet you"
or "looking forward to reading your stuff" or whatever and judd/tom
would make some nasty comment each time I said anything. So by the
time it was my turn to introduce myself (I felt awkward anyway,
because half the class wasn't even listening, they were over in the
faire group) I just felt like crap and I said something like "I'm
evilE and everyone hates me." The famous author said "Aww, you can't
be that bad" or something sort of comforting, and then JuddTom told
everyone what horrible things I'd said/done to his friend way back
when and then I remembered, and it was that I'd critiqued her writing
harshly in the long-ago class and so I finally got pissed and
said "Look, it was a writing class, and we were supposed to give each
other constructive criticism. I was not saying anything personal
about her, I didn't have anything against her, I was trying to help
her improve her writing!"

There was also something about going in the attic and the basement of
the library, some secret pasages between the attic and the basement,
bits of stray insulation falling off of things in the attic, and
water leaks in the basement.

The alarm went off and I remember waking up gasping for air. It was a
terrible dream & I woke up feeling really bad.
