lat night at Midnight. I didn't hear the phone ring, I just woke up
when the message came on, and then Sweetie turned it down for me.
Something about how he'd just gotten the postcard, and that he
assumed I meant "rubber_pig" when i said "Someone's wife" and that rubber_pig
was actually trying to get him to forgive his family, bla bla. Sweetie
turned the volume down at that point.

What an inconsiderate oaf; normal people who WORK are not awake to
take calls at midfuckingnight. I only want calls at that hour if
there is grevious bodily injury!


Feh. stupid family drama bullshit.

I'm thinking about y'all!

[brother A] called last night at Midnight, to say he'd
'just gotten' my postcard that I sent Wednesday. (text
was: "I love you. I wish you would sit calmly and
think about how Someone's Wife has manipulated you
into disowning your family.") I didn't hear the phone
ring, I just woke up when [brother A] started talking.
Something about how he'd just gotten the postcard (the
postal service took 5 days from Austin to SA and
delivered at midnight? Um, don't think so.) and that
he assumed I meant "rubber_pig" when i said "Someone's
wife" and that rubber_pig was actually trying to get him to
forgive his family, bla bla. Sweetie turned the volume
down at that point.

I hope you manage to have a pleasant time, anyway.

Sweetie might not be up for Fajita nite Thursday--he was
going to try and see his Dr. this morning, he thinks
he has pinkeye and strep.

We had a great trip. [brother A] and [rubber_pig] didn't answer the door when
Donna knocked so she left them a note (and not the present). Their
van was there so I assume they just weren't "receiving". We went
over and had lunch with [uncle Bubba]. He was so glad to see Donna. We
stopped and shopped at the outlet malls in San Marcos on the way
back. Let's play fajita night by ear. Donna and I are going to
Burnet to see the property tomorrow so don't know how we will feel in
the pm. I love you bunches. -L

Sweetie doesn't have strep or pinkeye by the way, he just
has a cold. He isn't contagious. He's pretty
low-energy right now, though.

I am glad to hear that y'all had a nice visit with
[uncle bubba].

Too bad [brother A] has his head up his ass (or is it up
rubber_pig's golden coochie?--God I'm mean!). When/if he
ever comes out again, he'll be so shocked and sorry to
find that the world has gone on turning without him. I
just want to slap him! But I guess that's rubber_pig's job
now.

Love you too! Have a good trip tomorrow--this is such
a perfect time of year to go on a road trip on the TX
backroads--so many beautiful wildflowers!
