evile: Hi :) I am totally wishing it was FRIDAY already...

evile: I stayed up too late last night...it was worth it, but I'm
tired today!
SkyeDS: I got a call at 11 pm last night from Maria's daughter
wanting to transact business
evile: good lord.
SkyeDS: Kelly had already made me an offer to buy the stuff I had to
take too
SkyeDS: you know she got hit 3 times for 10K
SkyeDS: oh well
evile: yeah, so you said.
SkyeDS: I told them, one, 11 pm is not business hours
SkyeDS: two, you have to pay Nancy or I'll not speak to you about
paying me
SkyeDS: and three, this will be done at my convenience, not yours
evile: *nods*
SkyeDS: the baby's parents backed down off the ultimatum yesterday
SkyeDS: so all is good there
evile: good
SkyeDS: they finally, who knows why it took this long, decided that
maybe having a relationship with their s on was more important than
the rest of their BS
evile: good for them.
evile: Im sure that took a lot.
SkyeDS: went out for his dad's bday yesterday, that was good
evile: *nods*
evile: Poly dinner was good. It's the last 1st Wed. I'll be at for a
couple months, so I'm glad I got to see so many people.

evile: Hopefully I can catch some of the Thursday dinners in June &
July so I won't miss out completely.
SkyeDS: what's happening with yoru weds
evile: Krav Maga classes. The Tu-Th started too early to get to, so I
had to settle on messing up my Wednesdays for a month and a half...
SkyeDS: oh t hat's right
evile: Hopefully it'll be worth it...

evile: Looks like I might be skating with onyxlynxx next Tues :)

evile: That makes me happy. I am starting to branch out & do stuff
with people outside of meeting for group stuff. :)

evile: I found sineater a hilarious shirt at Academy. He'll either love
it or hate it :P

evile: It's a hawaiian shirt with parrots & greenery all over it.
TACKY!!!
evile: He will probably take one look at it and start pointing out
the inaccuracies of the birds' coloring...
SkyeDS: prolly lol
evile: Oh well. I liked it & thought of him when I saw it, so I
bought it.
SkyeDS: aw
evile: I always find presents for people when it's nowhere near any
sort of giving-holiday-thingy. And then when it's time to find bday
or xmas, I come up empty.
SkyeDS: just don't give them out until bday or xmas.
SkyeDS: brb food
evile: The bad thing is, Hawaiian shirt is good for summer--now. No
telling what the weather will be like Nov 4, or Xmas. ...
evile: Maybe I'll just mail it, so I dont' have to watch him struggle
NOT to look horrified at the tackyness of it :P

SkyeDS: have you seen his hawaiian shirts
evile: I don't think so...
SkyeDS: oh yes
evile: Greg's got quite the collection, too.
SkyeDS: many of them
evile: well, he might actually like it, then. That's a nice thought.
evile: I'm not as bad as Aunt L, but I do sometimes buy someone
something because *I* like it, not because I think they'll like it..
SkyeDS: and I will probably like this one much better than the orange
one and the urban cammo gray one
SkyeDS: orange cannabis, I should say
evile: Nothing can ever be as bad as L--she bought Uncle Bubba pig
Xmas ornaments for *years* even though Uncle Bubba hated them.
evile: orange and drugs. yay.
SkyeDS: thinkin bout goin back on the wagon for my bday
evile: that would be a good landmark
evile: my 34th bday=highest weight of my entire life. :(

SkyeDS: I'm basically back where I started when I went on the diet on
my birthday in 98 I think it was
evile: suck :(
SkyeDS: which is needless to say, the highest of my life lol

evile: People hang entirely too much self-worth on externals. I dare
say you have improved your life, your SELF very much since your bday
in 1998.
SkyeDS: I think so, maybe
evile: I definitely think so.
evile: lets see...1 year ago: I was living in fear of X and [husband]'s
retribution, you were having troubles at HFS due to Kim stirring. You
and I have both risen above those situations & become better people
for it.
SkyeDS: according to Rita I still have problems with Kim, lol
SkyeDS: and she and Kit (who is sonar0m' age) have "set a date"
evile: great...I wish them every happiness together.
evile: Happy people have less time & inclination to inflict misery on
others. :)
SkyeDS: I want to know if little Kim will be a bridesmaid
SkyeDS: <grin>
evile: 2 yrs ago, you and I werent' speaking. We got over ourselves
and have a better relationship (IMO?) in the aftermath...
SkyeDS: true :)
SkyeDS: and as much as I would like people to be happy in general, I
don't think that's going to happen with the newly engaged
evile: Well, best you can do is just hope for the best & move on &
hopefully they will too.
evile: The nice thing about keeping an online journal is you can flip
back and see where you were at any given time in the past. I often
feel like I'm just running around in circles, not getting anything
done, but looking back I think I have done a few things to be proud
of....weight notwithstanding..
SkyeDS: can always lose weight
SkyeDS: although it gets harder the older you get
evile: yup.
evile: I met someone you may have known way-back-when in HFS. Her
name is Brandy Eileen aka: Diva & some 3-4 other names I can't
remember.
SkyeDS: I would probably only remember if I saw her
SkyeDS: none of those names rings bell
SkyeDS: plus, many more people remember me than other way around (the
horse and bird thing)
evile: She reminded me a bit of The Rubber Pig...
evile: She was in HFS pre-horse. Possibly even pre-bird.
evile: She knew Garriott.
SkyeDS: ah
SkyeDS: Garriott got me into HFS in the first place
SkyeDS: she would have known me as teh Unicorn then
SkyeDS: get to leave at 5 today
SkyeDS: what a novelty
evile: nice :)
evile: I am so fricken tired. I wonder if I should just go to bed and
forget anniversary stuff.
SkyeDS: maybe so
evile: Let Sweetie go play VW stuff by himself. Or maybe I could just nap
when I get home & see how I feel when it's time to head that way...
SkyeDS: even better idea
evile: *fingers crossed*
evile: I sometimes go to nap and wake up 8-9 hours later going 'WTF!?'
SkyeDS: nods
SkyeDS: have to admit it's nice to sleep till whenever I feel rested
in the morning
evile: yup.
evile: Well, I have to hit the copier before I do my other stuff, so
I'll sign off now.
