Aunt L, MOm & [Sister H] picked me up from work at 11:30. We went to Boerne
to get [cousin B] for a couple days. Mom decided she wanted to go to
Fredericksburg on a back road.

Lunch at a tex-mex place in Boerne. We stopped at Sister Creek winery
& mom & I tasted. We tasted at the Fredericksburg Winery, too. (nasty
German lady working there) Dinner at Altdorf in F'burg. Window
shopping because everything in F'burg closes at 5.

Then back to L&B's. Sweetie picked me up around 9:45 and we left around
10:15. Got home & in bed, asleep by 11 or a little afterwards.

Mom made me a little crazy today. Called me a child-hater, bla bla.
Said something about how I have a 'bad' relationship with [Brother A].
Um...hello?

started to send this to J-law, but changed my mind:

We are going to Krause Springs today when I get done with work.

Mom made me fairly crazy yesterday. We went to Boerne to get [cousin B] (her
nephew, my cousin, uncle bubba's kid) and she decided she wanted to
go go Fredericksburg the back way. At some point during the day she
told me I was hateful because I had not been interested in the 'sprog
worship' on Sunday. I guess I'm just spoiled, but my friends kids are
NOT the center of attention when we get together. If there is a meal
with the get-together, the children eat politely, ask questions or
make statements regarding their meal, answer questions when asked,
and that's IT. Then the grownups have adult conversation and the kids
sit quietly, OR, if we are at someone's house, the kids go play and
occupy themselves while the adults visit. Because of this, I was not
prepared for or interested in sitting around for * hours applauding
the little one's bathroom efforts, listening to the older children's
lists of favorite toys, colors, fruits, juices, foods, games, bla bla
bla. I just don't CARE. And, those kids are NOT [Brother A]'s, he has no
legal right to them and neither do we. So why even bother to get
invested?
