evilE: icq is not letting me log on at all today, yahoo
messenger keeps signing me out....wtf. So, if you don't see me
online, it's me not you
skye_ds: I am currently away from the computer.

skye_ds: alamo says they're sold out
evilE: suck.
skye_ds: it didn't occur to me to preorder tix online
skye_ds: I've called them and am waiting for them to call back, to
see if anything can be arranged
evilE: hopefully they got such a good response they'll
show it again.
skye_ds: I wonder if most of Drandmir ordered online or were planning
on ordering when they got there.
evilE: Oh, that's a NEW LOW, even for X. Just got a
yahoo message from "[goddessdaughter]"
skye_ds: ?
evilE: message from "Pinkalee3" or something like that,
reads "this is J****** A*****"...um, I don't think so.
skye_ds: sighs
evilE: On the off chance that it is [J], I'm not going
to say anything ugly. I'm just not going to reply at all.
skye_ds: so many people don't seem to get the concept of, don't go
away mad, just go away, please.

skye_ds: will be so happy when this week is over. Our problem child
case has hit the most recent height of its insanity.
evilE: yucko. this messenger thing is unstable, and
that's the nicest thing I can find to say abou tit. I just had to
reboot
skye_ds: only thing yahoo msgr is good for is keeping track of spades
partners
evilE: well, at least you've got one thing, then.
evilE: I'm still at 0
skye_ds: I'm hoping if we go down there anyway, some people who may
have preordered tix won't show.
evilE: Are you on a waiting list?
skye_ds: I don't know if there is one
skye_ds: hopefully they'll put me on one when they call me back
evilE: Ok.
skye_ds: online says it's sold out, on phone doesn't say
evilE: Wierd. It would suck to hassle around with parking
& staying in town later than you usually do for nothing.
skye_ds: if they have the DVDs there, we could pick one up instead.

  SkyeDS: so I talked to the drafthouse and explained who I was. I'm
  going to go by there at 5:30 when they open and talk to the director,
  see if he can do something for us.
  evile: *nods*
  SkyeDS: if not, I told the drafthouse look, I'll pay full price just
  to stand in back, all I want to see are my horses on the big screen
  SkyeDS: I wonder how many in Drandmir are going to be in the same
  boat we're in
  evile: no tellin. most/all, more than likely.
  SkyeDS: bet I look like 300 pounds rather than 200 pounds on a 70
  foot screen :(
  evile: *shrug*
  evile: people are always shocked by what they look like & sound like
  from the outside.
  evile: You can cultivate a good radio voice with practice, but
  nothing to be done about the camera adding 10+ lbs except avoid the
  camera :P
  SkyeDS: hopefully they shot the critters and not me (doubtful, but
  hopeful anyway)
  evile: No telling what they included/left out. For every hour of
  footage, you end up using maybe 10 min.
  evile: Plus they filmed other gamer groups besides Drandmir, so the
  whole Drandmir segment may be only 10 minutes of the whole movie.
  SkyeDS: could be
  evile: I was really surprised that Sweetie was interested in seeing this
  with me.
  SkyeDS: is good tho
  evile: No tellin'.
  evile: He does these things where he does minor, unnoticable
  things 'for me' and then gets majorly cranky when I don't notice the
  HUUUUUUGE sacrifice he made for me.
  evile: So this is probably one of those.
  SkyeDS: hope not
  evile: He is mostly a selfish prick.
  evile: I love him anyway & doubt there's anyone else out there who
  could live with me for this long without a homicide taking
  place...but he definitely isn't perfect.
  evile: And, face it, I"m a selfish bitch, too.
  SkyeDS: at least you're honest about it? ;)
  evile: All of the things I consider to be 'major efforts' and 'huge
  sacrifices' for his happiness are probably not noticable to him,
  either.
  evile: I don't know if there's a forum topic re: Ubergoober in
  hfsinchaos.
  SkyeDS: nope
  evile: but I posted in hfsorg about the sold-out status.
  evile: would be nice if the theatre could work something out with
  those members of Drandmir who didn't get tickets in advance--maybe
  get 'em to come in garb or give a fighting demo or something...
  evile: Now I kind of wish I was going home first so I could get
  garbed up. Oh well. I'd rather get a beer. And avoid the damned bus
  ride for once :)

  SkyeDS: needless to say I'm not the only one with this problem
